The purpose of this study is to analyze common inquiry tasks of middle school history textbooks and find out it's implications on teacher librarians' educational information services. There are 84 common inquiry tasks according to examinations of inquiry tasks related to world history in 18 kinds of middle school history textbooks. Results of the analysis show that almost all of common inquiry tasks of world history make middle school students who should resolve them research the pictures and reading materials included in the textbooks individually and verbalize under the information literacy process. Compared with information literacy process of the "Library and Information Skills" for middle schools, the First step of task definition and figuring out information needs and the Third step of representation of information are being implemented. For this reason, teacher librarian could reduce history studies teachers' burden of running the class and promote students' inquiry activities by teaching skills of information analysis and interpretation, synthesis and organization and evaluation of their information literacy process and results.

Pedestrian movement of passengers using smart card within stations can be divided into three types of activities - straight ride and alight, line transfer, and station transfer. Straight ride and alight is transfer activity for which the card terminal and embarking line are identical. In this case, straight ride occurs at the origin station and straight alight occurs at the destination station. Line transfer refers to activity in which the subway line embarked on by the passenger is different from that which is disembarked. Succinctly, line transfer is transfer at a middle station, rather than at origin or destination stations. Station transfer occurs when the card terminal line and embarking line are different. It appears when station transfer happens at the origin station as starting transfer, and at the destination station as destination transfer. In the case of Metropolitan smart card data, origin and destination station card terminal line number data is recorded, but subway line data does not exist. Consequently, transportation card data, as it exists, cannot adequately be used to analyze pedestrian movement as a whole in subway stations. This research uses the smart card data, with its constraints, to propose an analysis model for passenger pedestrian movement within subway stations. To achieve this, a path selection model is constructed, which links origin and destination stations, and then applied for analysis. Finally, a case study of the metropolitan subway is undertaken and pedestrian volume analyzed.

It is a matter of fact that Pusan, doesn't have enough systematic history and culture, has face on very difficult situation. A competative and fashionate tourist theme park need to be constructed to develop their historical theme park, and to make own culture which is related to Pusan' tradition. The subject of this study is to suggest the basic knowledge about specialty of customer to be expected when cultural theme park is built up. The questionare to customer is consist of the propensity of lesure, the use of similar facility, the type of theme park, and inclination of visitation to forign and domestic tourist.

한반도는 판 내부지역으로서 지구조적 과정이 느리게 진행된다. 그 결과 지진발생빈도가 낮으며 불규칙한 지진발생특성을 보인다. 우리나라에는 약 1900년 간의 역사지진기록과 약 100년 간의 계기지진자료가 있어 지진발생특성 연구에 중요한 정보를 제공하고 있으나, 이들 지진자료를 이용할 때에는 자료의 신뢰성과 정밀도에 유의할 필요가 있다.

자료실 천정까지 쌓여 있는 만화책 덩어리들이 금방이라도 쏟아질 것 같은데, 회원들이 무심히 그 밑 탁자에 앉아 회의를 하고 서가의 자료를 뽑아 공부하기도 한다. 중진작가들이 소장도서를 아낌없이 내놓으며 모은 자료가 7천여권 남짓, 우리나라 만화역사에 밑그림이 되는 진귀한 자료들이다.

The purpose of this study is to explore high school students' perception of the relationship among science, history, and history of science which is one of the career elective subjects in the 2015 revised science curriculum. This study compares students' perception before and after experiencing history of science course. To do this, data in the format of Venn diagram that students draw to represent their perception on relationship between the history of science, science, and history were collected. The collected data were inductively categorized. As a result of analyzing the Venn Diagram data, there are five different kinds of categories: 'History of science as an intersection of science and history,' 'History of science as an independent domain,' 'History of science as part of history,' 'History of science as part of science,' and 'History of science encompassing both science and history.' And there were 27 different sub-categories within the 5 categories. In addition, before taking the course on history of science, many students tended to regard science history as the intersection of science and history. However, after the course, students' perception changed and differed according to their affiliated academic track. For the humanities, history of science is perceived as part of history, and for the students in science track it is perceived as a part of science. Based on these findings, we suggest that history of science teaching-learning should be conducted that help high school students to experience a new perspective that is different from the curriculum in affiliated academic track.

The reality which cannot protect existing tangible intangible modern cultural heritage in Daejeon is makes historical value and identity of a city weakened and then, this leads to absence of the foundation of urban regeneration based on the history. References as recording inheritance indicates characteristics or identity of the area and they represent the physical mental symbol of the area; images of diverse structures or sceneries with historical or cultural characteristics are contents of urban regeneration based on history and culture, which can be utilized as historical sources to verify realness of disappearing modern cultural heritage. Therefore, understanding and utilization of modern cultural heritage through this study on regional archiving can be deemed to be the first stage to bring community spirit, affection and pride to local residents. In this connection, this study intends to suggest a policy direction not only to maintain realness of modern cultural heritage through preservation and utilization but also to expect formation of settling and fellowship as well as cultural economical effect from the viewpoint of urban regeneration.

This research purports to reconstruct how the respective historical experiences on the Japanese colonial rule and Korean War have influenced the lifes of the Korean elderly in later years from the biographical context. Nine interviews were conducted using Sch$\ddot{u}$tze's 'autobiographical-narrative interview.' Interview data collected were analyzed following Rosenthal's 'analysis of narrative-biographical interview.' How individual historical experiences have impacted the elderly's lifes mostly indicated a difference in the way they experienced such historical events. While their pro-Japanese activities and direct, historical experiences during the Japanese colonial rule and their direct, historical experiences as veterans of the Korean War have influenced their life as individualized, their indirect, historical experiences on the Japanese colonial rule and Korean War have manifested themselves as a potential life severed from the historical past at the same time. Based on the understanding of how the elderly's individual, historical experiences have exerted an influence on their life, finally, some suggestions were addressed as regards welfare practices for the elderly.

Negligent accidents in urban railway station not only give damages to users but also cause avoidance of public transport usage. This study aims to identify design factors in designing urban railway station for reducing and preventing negligent accidents in the station. Especially this study identifies design factors from the perspectives of universal design concept which is for all persons. This study classified negligent accidents in urban railway stations, analysed degree of danger and identified the causes of accidents. Then this study identified universal design factors based on the results of analysis on the priority of accident factors relating to negligent accidents. The results of this study can be utilized as basic data in designing urban railway station for reducing and preventing negligent accident in urban railway station.

Korean historical geography as a distinct subset of modern geography began with the path-breaking efforts of Do-Yang Roh in the second half of the 1940s. He was joined in 1960 by founding father Dr. Chan Lee who carried with himself the Berkeley geography he learned from Fred Kniffen, his advisor, and Robert West at Louisiana State University. Dr. Lee, the single-most important figure in the development of Korean historical geography, founded in 1988 the Association of Korean Cultural and Historical Geographers in order to pull together those interested in past geographies and geographical change. Korean historical geography took off in the 1980s when large numbers of doctoral theses were produced domestically and abroad and British cross-sectional methodology added. Diversity in research theme and methodology characterizes present-day Korean historical geography.
