This study examined how the level of competition in the banking industry affects the risk-seeking tendency of individual banks. In earlier studies, the NPL ratio was used as an indicator of the risk-seeking tendency, but this ratio has limits because it is an ex post indicator of the risk. Therefore, the asset risk was chosen as a new indicator of the risk-seeking tendency, which is an ex ante measure of the risk, and the data were analyzed. The results suggested that there is a negative correlation between the level of competition of the banking industry and the risk-seeking tendency. Interestingly, opposite results were obtained when the NPL ratio was applied as an indicator of risk-seeking tendency. Therefore, the correlation between the level of competition in the banking industry and the risk-seeking tendency depends on the indicator of the risk-seeking tendency. This means choosing the appropriate indicator is the key component leading to precise results. The asset risk is more consistent with the concept of risk-seeking tendency than the NPL ratio, and it is a more appropriate indicator considering that the asset risk is a relatively less affected indicator other than risk-seeking tendencies.

Basel III (Third Basel Accord or Basel Standards) is a global, voluntary regulatory framework on bank capital adequacy, stress testing, and market liquidity risk. Basel III regulatory ratios include capital adequacy, asset soundness, and liquidity. The capital adequacy variables include BIS capital adequacy ratio, BIS tier 1 capital ratio, and tangible common equity ratio. The asset soundness variables include non-performing loan ratio and non-performing loan coverage ratio. The liquidity regulation variables include KRW liquidity coverage ratio and foreign currency liquidity coverage ratio. This study aims to investigate how capital adequacy standard affects efficiency of internet primary banks. As a result of this study, BIS capital adequacy ratio of domestic internet primary banks is lower than that of commercial banks. In order to maintain sustainable operation considering capital adequacy regulations, it is necessary to expand additional capital. In addition, the delinquency rate and non-performing loan ratio of domestic internet primary banks is gradually increasing due to the maturity of high-yield loans in 2019.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of household loan share on bank management soundness. The results of the empirical analysis are summarized as follows. First, as a result of estimating coefficient of the mortgage loan ratio shows a significant negative relationship with the BIS equity capital ratio of banks. In addition, it was found that the mortgage loan ratio had a significant positive (+) effect on Eunhae's BIS and equity capital ratio after the financial crisis. Second, as a result of the estimation coefficient of the mortgage ratio showed a significant positive (+) relationship with the NPL of the bank and below. In addition, it is estimated that the bank's secured loan ratio changed significantly before and after the financial crisis in the effect of banks' NPL and substandard-and-below loans. It is expected to make implication to financial policy and banking regulation and supervision. We believe that more efforts should be made to increase the soundness of household loans in preparation for risk factors that may arise from exogenous factors such as changes in the international financial environment and falling property prices.

Recently, credit risk in the Chinese corporate bond market has increased significantly, and there is a possibility that banks that have invested in corporate bonds may become insolvent. The purpose of this study is to empirically analyze the effect of Chinese commercial banks' investment in securities on financial performance. The analysis results are as follows. First, it is estimated that as the share of securities investment by Chinese commercial banks increases, the bank's profitability decreases. It was found that investment in securities did not have a positive impact on profitability due to the increase in credit risk in the corporate bond market and the increase in marginal companies. Second, it is estimated that as the proportion of securities investment by Chinese commercial banks increases, the bank's soundness deteriorates. As credit risk in China's capital market is increasing, continuous management of non-performing assets is required. Chinese commercial banks need portfolio management through securities investment in addition to loan assets to improve profitability. However, volatility should be managed by adjusting the scale of securities management to an appropriate level.

This study examined the images and formative features of female characters portrayed in fantasy films. This study aimed at providing an applicable theory to modern fashion by reconsidering the images of women appearing in fantasy films and arranging fantastical features reflected in costumes of female characters. The followings were the results of the study: The first divine nature that human beings discovered was woman nature. The discovered stone worked of the prehistoric age had a meaning of the great mother of universe and expressed a positive image. Such positive images of the goddess were variously differentiated to negative images or reduced in their roles and meanings in the settlement process of patriarchy as well as sociocultural transition. The foremost examples of negative image were expressed as grotesque, destructive, otherness, sensual, and exotic. The positive image of a goddess in fantasy films was not especially emphasized. On the other hand, the negative images of the goddess and the case of costumes were variously expressed as well as emphasized the typicality of the negative image of the characters. It was reconsidered that the typical features of characters in fantasy films were a result of the image of women following sociocultural transition. In addition, it was confirmed that such result was being reflected in film costume.

4차산업 혁명의 여파로 국내에서는 다양한 분야에 인공지능과 빅데이터 기술을 활용하여 이전에 시행 중인 다양한 서비스 분야에 기술적 접목과 보완을 시도하고 있다. 특히 금융권에서 자금을 빌린 기업들을 대상으로 여신 안정성을 확보하고 선제적인 대응을 위해 온라인 뉴스기사들과 SNS 데이터 등을 이용하여 부실가능성을 예측하고 실제 업무에 도입하려는 시도들이 국내 주요 은행들을 중심으로 활발히 진행 중이다. 우리는 국내의 국책은행에서 수행한 비정형 데이터 기반의 기업의 부실징후 예측 시스템 개발 과정에서 시도된 다양한 분석 방법과 결과 그리고 과정 중에 발생한 문제점들에 관해 기술하고 관련 이슈들에 관하여 다룬다. 결과적으로 본 논문은 레이블이 없는 대량의 기사들에 레이블을 달기 위한 자동 태거(tagger) 개발과 뉴스 기사 예측 결과로부터 부실 가능성을 예측하기 위한 모델 및 성능 면에서 기사 예측 정확도 92%(AUC 0.96) 및 부실 가능성 기업 예측에서도 정형 데이터 분석결과에 견줄만한 성과를 이루었고 이에 관해 보고한다.

Metal organic frameworks (MOF) have generated considerable interests as a potential candidate for hydrogen storage owing to their extremely high surface-to-volume ratio and low density. In this study, Pt nanoparticles of about 3 nm in size were introduced outside MOF-5 [$Zn_4O$(1,4-benzenedicarbocylate)3], which was then encapsulated with hydrophobic microporous carbon black (denoted CB@Pt/MOF-5) in order to enhance hydrogen uptake capacity without decreasing the specific surface area and hydrostability. To study the chemical composition, morphology, crystal information, and properties of the synthesized material, a variety of techniques is employed, including WXRD, XPS, ICP-AES, FE-SEM, HR-TEM, and N2 adsorption-desorption, confirming the formation of novel hybrid composite designated CB@Pt/MOF-5 with highly crystalline structure, large specific surface area and pore volume. In addition, $H_2$ storage capacity for resulting material was measured using magnetic suspension microbalance at 77 and 298 K under high-pressure condition, and the hydrostability was also tested by exposing the sample to 33% relative humidity at $23^{\circ}C$ and measuring XRD as a function of time.

Postmodern American science fiction authors often dramatize the human fear and hope for the newly emerging artificial life forms. For example, Helen as an advanced artificial intelligence Richard Power's Galatea 2.2 shows that the student's memorizing efforts for exams can be useless someday. In Neal Stephenson's Snow Crash machines are liable to be infected with viruses like human bodies. In He, She and It, Piercy's parallel of an artificial human (Yod) and a mythic personification (Golem) allegorically reveals the pandora-like unpredictable effect of advanced technology. More than the mechanical entities (the diffusion and linear models for Latour), these biologically artificial entities reveal the limitations of even the fantastically idealized technology simply because the human being as the creators or impersonators of these machines are not perfect. Compared to illustrative mechanism, biologically artificial entities (Latour's transition or whirlwind models) are inherently rebellious because of their closeness to the creators. The Butler's organic environmental interaction of the Earthseed convincingly demonstrates how the wrong use of science ruins the holy earth and also how human beings survive through the right use of effective science with the aid of anthroposophy.

Objectives : Sanguisorbae Radix(SO) is a plant in the family Rosaceae, which grows widely in open fields Korea. It has been used as traditional medicine for thousands of years, as a treatment for anti-inflammatory and it is widely used for throat infection, tonsilitis, conjuctivitis and lymphadentis. In this study, investigated skin antiaging and anti-bacterial by using SO fractions water, acetone and butanol, chloroform. Methods : The effects of anti-microbial on SO fractions and elastase inhibition activity, collagenase inhibition activity were experimented. Results : 1. The ethyl acetate fraction showed the strongest antimicrobial activity against Staphylococcus epidermidis. 2. The elastase inhibition rate and collagenase inhibition rate of the water fraction of SO was the highest other factions. Conclusions : From the above results, it was confirmed the SO has sufficient potentiality applying itself to industry and also SO can be utilized as antimicrobial natural materials and antiaging cosmetics.
