This study explored the experience of social support in the education and rearing of children of immigrant women through international marriage and found its essential meaning. First of all, the husband's social support was very important, but the relationship with the husband had a different effect on childrearing and education. Parents-in-law had a positive and negative impact on child rearing and education of them due to cultural conflicts between the two countries. Their own mother was a strong support that gave them great strength just by being there, and as their children grew up, they regarded their mother as the source of bilingual education for their children. Other supporters around them were Korean friends who connected Korean society by sharing information on child care and education. Friends who spoke and communicated in their native language were emotional and psychological supporters that bonded the same experience of parenting and education for their children. In conclusion, the research participants expected a better life for themselves and their children by using a multi-layered social support system as well as a transnational family network in the process of child education and care. Accordingly, it was proposed to systematically improve the laws, systems, and policy support so that the social support system can be further strengthened at the family, community, and transnational levels for the education and care of children of immigrant women through international marriage.
This essay is focused on finding women's voice in oral narratives of social memory of national violence and resistance. The books of oral narratives of women who had experienced the national violence and participated in the resistance through historic events such as 5.18, have been published recently. This study is based on the materials that have interviewed women experienced the historic event '5.18' in Gwangju. In this study, there are analyses of the materials of the memory of violence and resistance of '5.18', which have contained the texts written by intellectual males and the oral narratives of females directly involved. So far, the memory and experience of women have not been presented in its entirety in the field of social discourse of '5.18'. In the field women's words were translated in men's words, so the real words disappeared and in the end remained unspoken words. And besides, the existence of women are substituted with the limited images (for example women's body destroyed) presented by men's words in memorial materials. In narratives of '5.18', women are reduced to the images of bodies destroyed by national violence. The destroyed bodies are places for exhibition and disclosure of national violence. Women are not presented as the subjects of the social resistance in oral or written narratives of '5.18'. The images of females are only vehicles to urge the male subjects to resist against unjust violence. In this context, men are interpreted for the protectors of sisters, daughters, wives. Since 1980s, the symbol of '5.18 Gwangju' has represented the most ideal community in Korean society. But women have been on the borderline or outside of the community in fact. However, women intend to construct themselves as the subjects of resistance through the spoken words. They have tried to make the politic places for themselves in the social field by speaking and speaking constantly. The desire to speak out is becoming stronger for women, so these days more words are spoken by more women and more oral narratives made by women are revealed in social discoursive field. So the place for women's voice is expanding in social memorial field of '5.18'.
This article attempts to explore how the women retirees under study were able to continue work until retirement. This study used life histories, especially focusing on daily working lives, and uncovered a number of key issues through in-depth interviews. The main results are as follows: Firstly, the women retirees examined here had been raised as highly educated people, and their strong educational background was a base component for them to have relatively secure careers. Their parents had also supported practically the women retirees during their working lives. In addition, the women retirees had to can out the roles of 'provider' for their original families, procreation families or in-law families, even though they were not given the recognized roles of provider. Secondly, the women retirees had a private infra system to support them with housework and child care. In addition, because they were financially able to employ housemaids, the women retirees did not experience conflicts with their husbands, who took on a neo-traditional sex role. Finally, thanks to relatively good working conditions such as having vacations and being able to come to and leave the office on time, the women retirees were able to continue work until retirement no mean feat in a society which openly practiced gender discrimination.
This article describes the fear of infection through the Covid19 pandemic and the rapid phase change of human species with H. P. Lovecraft's fiction and "Project LC. RC". Pandemic and climate change, which can be called global weirding, fundamentally question the status and history of human species in the ecosystem. The horror creature and cosmological indifferentism in Lovecraft's weird fiction are contemporary in that they help shed light on today's global weirding. But Lovecraft's racism allows him to ask more fundamental questions about the logjam of his cosmic horror. "Project LC. RC" are a Korean writers's works of cultural variation that rewrites controversial racism and misogyny in Lovecraft's fiction. Such variation becomes the task of creating a mutation in Lovecraft as it becomes infected with the affection of Lovecraft's writing. This article first noted the creative power of Lovecraft's fiction that induces such a mutation. And under this premise, this article wanted to reveal the meaning of Lee Seo young, Eun rim, and Kim Bo young's recreates of Lovecraft's fiction through the analysis of images and motifs of abject, plant creature and symbiosis. Specifically, Lovecraft's creature, which evokes phallic fear, turns into an image of an abject embracing and comforting women's despair("I Want You to Stay Low"), a plant creature that provides women with refuge("Color in the Well"), and a creature of care and symbiotic life("A Sea of Plague"). This recreate/rewriting has contemporary significance in that it embodies values such as labor, care, and solidarity in their works. The conclusion noted another power of creative variation in Lovecraft's fiction, which is not reduced to recreate/rewriting.
By examining the constitutive characteristics of Yon-Ko-Jeon and analyzing the lived meanings and experiencing essence of students, this study details the students' awareness, responses, and strategies with regards to the phenomenon of women's alienation from Yon-Ko-Jeon. Students from the two colleges were divided into two groups- one which was aware of women's alienation from Yon-Ko-Jeon, and another group that was unaware of such a phenomenon. Students without awareness tended to perceive the alienation of women from Yon-Ko-Jeon as a natural phenomenon. On the other hand, the members who had awareness tended to see it as a phenomenon that was either justified, unequal, or in need of change. In the latter group, those who saw women's alienation as a justified phenomenon responded with tolerance and adopted a bystander strategy. Conversely, those who saw it as an unequal phenomenon responded with rejection and instead chose to adopt anti-/alternative Yon-Ko-Jeon strategies. The last group, which perceived women's alienation as a phenomenon in need of change, adopted correcting responses as well as intercollegiate solidarity and cooperation strategies. A generalization of the findings reveals that the students' experiencing essence of the phenomenon extends from critical thinking to awareness, response, and strategy in a step-by-step and sequential process. Through this study, it was found that the students' experiencing essence all follow a continuous thinking pattern, as illustrated in the diagram provided.
This study, on the military fashion which has been inspired by the men's military uniform, is composed of an examination of the following; the aspect on the women's hi-fashion and the street fashion and the analysis of it's intention. On hi-fashion, from the 1960s to the early half of the 1970s, by the influence of the minimalism, maintained it's couture style, which is the formal image as well as moderating the line and simplifying the details, From the latter part of the 1970s to the 1980s, mannish image was sensed greatly by the wide shoulders with pads and large silhouette. This article pays attention to the gender representation of an abominable male abject that reveal class polarization in the movie Parasite. I seeks to read a new aspect of emotional politics in which a precariat man becomes a male patriarch while representing himself with an abhorrent position. Parasite shows a reversal of daughter and son responsible for parents, contrary to the existing family narrative. They teaches the parents' generation how to survive neoliberal that their place is created only when they take away others' place. However, after losing this prospect, Ki-woo confesses to his father that he is sorry first. Ki-taek also attempted to identify Dong-ik with the patriarch, but this male solidarity collapsed by class and committed murder in sudden anger. As a result, Gi-taek goes down to the hateful status of a stinking underground life, and Ki-woo receives a message of ethical reflection from his isolated father. The film gives the father and son the noble status of ethical fighter who fought against the structure of class polarization, especially the ending epilogue and narration emphasizing the ethical responsibility and mutual solidarity between father and son. In this process, the voices of female characters are gradually omitted, blurring gender screening for male characters. Parasite reveals the political reenactment strategy of precariat men in the age of neoliberalism, which is ethical subject by claiming to be a class abject himself. And representing the hate with gender-selecting, it is beautifying the responsible ethics of the patriarch.

This study aims to understand history and adaptive strategies of Bitgoul iCOOP Consumer's Coopertive Association(BCCA). BCCA have twofold identity as civil society organization and economic management organization. Going through several ups and downs from the founding up to now date, BCCA has adapted successfully. The numbers of association member have steadily increased and activity areas have extended consistently. Moreover united activity with local civil society have expanded both quantitatively and qualitatively. These success results from store business which stated from 2008. But maintaining successful management conditions, the numbers of association member should increase steadily and staff organization have grown in size. At the results, BCAA have been bureaucratized and recruitment of core staffs is difficult more and more.
This work introduces Nada (1944) by Carmen Laforet in humanities in Korea, to add new knowledge about Spanish literature and therefore broaden and enrich humanities. When the opera prima of this Barcelonian author came to light, critics and the readers were shocked at a work that departed from the expiring Spanish novel under Franco's anti-intellectual and anticreative regime, to renew it indefinitely. That was more than 70 years ago, and today the freshness of Andrea's story continues to be prevail, thanks to its most outstanding feature: polyphonic ambiguity in its text, which allows the novel to include and develop different and contradictory meaning. This investigation addresses several critical readings of Nada, produced and extended inside and outside Spain. These readings, together, reveal the exceptional flexibility and complexity of Nada, a work of fiction that reflects and recreates multiple aspects of the human being.

In modern society, there remain underprivileged communities that do not perform their own archival activities and documentation. Thus, many outside citizen archivists take the role of documenting the lives and activities of such communities on their behalf. However, ensuring the partyhood of these citizen archivists who are not part of the community proves to be problematic. This study aims to analyze how outside citizen archivists acquire partyhood in the process of documenting underprivileged communities through a case study labeled "Citizen Archivist Training Project" in Wanwol-dong, an area in Busan with a huge prostitution business. First, the process of acquiring partyhood in the outside citizen archivists' documentation of underprivileged communities was divided into three stages, following the literature review process. Second, this partyhood acquisition process was investigated stage by stage through interviews with participants in the case study in Wanwol-dong. Third and finally, following the investigation's findings, the attitude and position outside citizen archivists should have and take, respectively, in documenting underprivileged communities were identified.
