Although ultrasonography is the most commonly used first-line imaging modality of the female pelvis because of diagnostic accuracy, low cost and safety, MRI is the best imaging modality of choice for the evaluation of the female pelvis. The indication of female pelvis MRI is diverse and includes the evaluation of M$\ddot{u}$llerian duct anomaly, differential diagnosis and characterization of uterine and ovarian tumors, and staging of malignant uterine and ovarian tumors. Understanding of MR protocols according to the specific gynecologic pathology allows accurate diagnosis and proper patient management.

Compared to other manufacturing industries, the food manufacturing industry has a relatively large number of women casualties compared to men, and the number is steadily increasing. The age of casualties is also increasing as the society enters into an aging society. This is also evident in the food manufacturing sector. Therefore, this study conducted a survey on the safety and health awareness of workers by age and gender at small workplaces in the food manufacturing industry. Among them, we would like to focus on elderly women workers and analyze their accident characteristics to suggest ways to reduce the accident rate.

이 논문은 최근 들어 국민들의 행복감(happiness)이 어떻게 변화되어 왔는지에 초점을 두고 있다. 최근 연구논문들을 살펴보면, 미국과 영국의 경우 경기침체 등의 영향으로 국민들이 체감하는 행복감 수준이 정체내지는 줄어든 것으로 보고 되고 있다. 미국의 경우 1970년대 이래 최근 들어 여성들이 느끼는 행복감은 가장 큰 폭의 감소세를 보이고 있는 것으로 조사되고 있다. 이러한 행복감 상실의 가장 큰 주된 요인은 경기침체 등에 따른 실업률(unemployment)과 이혼 등에 따른 것으로 알려지고 있다.

Since 1991, so many women's volunteer centers have established in local self governing body or several women's organizations. The aims are to promote and manage women's volunteer activities. For last 12 years, one of aims has been already attained. But the other one is beyond attainment, because there are few network system among women's volunteer centers. For more efficient management of volunteer activities, it is necessary to construct computer network system in every volunteer center. In this paper, we describe current network situation and suggest network construction method of women's volunteer centers.

최근 여성이나 아동, 장애인 등의 사회적 약자를 대상으로 하는 흉악 범죄의 빈도수가 늘어나면서, 사회적 불안감이 점점 높아지고 있다. 이러한 사회적 불안감을 줄이고, 안전보장에 대한 요구를 충족하고자 기업체와 관련 정부기관에서는 국민의 안전보장 대책들을 내놓고 있다. 스마트기기에서의 GPS 등을 활용한 위치정보의 정확성이 날로 높아지고, 이에 기반을 둔 위치기반서비스의 발전에 힘입어, 이에 대한 대책 중 하나로 개인위치정보에 기반을 둔 개인 안전 서비스와 시스템을 다양하게 제시하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 현재 시중에서 이용되고 있는 각 개인 안전 서비스 및 어플리케이션을 분석하였다.

This study was undertaken to address the difficulties and inconveniences of an electric wheelchair. We focused on improving usability of initially completed products by augmenting the prototypes designed in the previous study. For evaluation of usability, 10 elderly women aged over 65 years, capable of movements and physical activities in daily life, were enrolled as subjects. The experimental method included a subjective satisfaction questionnaire evaluation of the elderly women using the target product, and the observation evaluation was achieved using video recording data, etc. Usability evaluation revealed that the elevating sector requires improvement of intuition through separation of the elevating control panel and the driving control panel. Improvements in the driving sector include corrections of the front wheel mechanism or driving control algorithm, UI, and sudden stop system. Transferring section assessment revealed a necessity to secure structures and add structures that support power. We believe that based on the inconveniences and improvements presented in the usability evaluation, appending the existing prototype with complementary products will improve the quality of life of elderly women with limited mobility.

This study analyzed the state of battered women who drink at a dangerously high level and the factors that influence their hazardous drinking in order to promote their safety and their healthy adjustments. The researchers utilized the data from "Analysis of the Effectiveness of Intimate Partner Violence Offenders Correction and Treatment Program" funded by Ministry of Gender Equality, and thereby, sampled 124 battered women for interview over phone. The results of applying the WHO's standard for hazardous drinking based on frequency and quantity calculations showed that 15.7% of survey participants were classified as hazardous drinkers, either currently experiencing or having the risk of experiencing problems related to drinking. The result of carrying out a logistic regression analysis to identify the factors that influence hazardous drinking showed that household income and self-blame were factors that exerted statistically significant influence. Based on these results, clinical and practical intervention plans for helping battered women who drink hazardously were discussed.

This study was performed to investigate the currents status of the sexual assaults on women public transportation users and to provide solutions in order to provide safe transportation services to women. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with career women in Gyeonggi-do. The main purpose of the interview was to understand their experiences about sexual assaults while using public transport and to investigate the extent to which their experiences affected their transportation-related behaviors. The effects of various related transport policies on women behaviors were also analyzed by estimating structural equation models. The results showed that among them, CCTV, accessible warning bells, and more police presence seemed to be more effective, but that woman-only sections were not as effective as others in reducing the number of crimes. The results implied that individual subjective norms and their perceived behavioral control, behavior intention were important factors. Based on these results, we recommended additional policies more effective in sexual crime reduction.

American Psychiatric Association defined hwa-byung as a unique mental illness of Korea, a kind of anger syndrome. This illness caused by the Korean culture is more often found on women than men, especially middle-aged women. The cause of hwa-byung mainly depends on the traditional family structure of Korea formed by Confucianism. Other causes that many middle-aged women suffer from hwa-byung are that their low education level originated in their wrong-recognized position in society and poverty in the past makes them not to be able to control their minds effectively(social psychological factor), and that they get stressed and depressed because of loss of their position in the family after their children leave home and the menopause which hurts their feminine beauty (physiological factor). So, this program aims at letting them to; 1) experience catharsis of the negative feelings which causes hwa-byung by expressing in psychodrama, 2) ease the symptoms of hwa-byung by relaxing their mind, 3) understand themselves through sharing their feelings and thinking at the group level, 4) acquire the opportunities to stabilize and expand their role in their real lives through the role playing.
