The study is intended to suggest the differentiated and subdivided indexes of the leisure fashion market and to provide the marketing strategy establishment and in-depth understanding of leisure fashion business by looking into the correlation between and among fashion involvement, clothing selection criteria and fashion information sources. This study was conducted by the questionnaire response method and the results were derived by using the SPSS 16.0 statistics program. The results of the study were as follows; 1) As a result of researching the difference between the leisure activities consumer groups and fashion involvement, there were significant differences in emotional and cognitive involvement. In the tour activity group and social activity group, emotional involvement was found to be higher than the cognitive experience while in the hobby and sports activity group, both involvements were equally as high. 2) As a result of researching the difference between the leisure activities groups and clothing selection criteria, it was found that the intrinsic and extrinsic criteria were high in the hobby and sports activity group and that the intrinsic criteria was high in the tour activity group and social activity group. 3) In the difference between the leisure activity groups and fashion information sources, it was found that media source, observation source and experience/personal source were high in the hobby and sports activity group. In addition, the experience and personal source were high in the social activity group. 4) In the difference between and among fashion involvement, clothing selection criteria and fashion information sources, it was found that the emotional involvement, intrinsic criteria and observation source were higher in the group of females than males. 5) In the difference between and among fashion involvement, clothing selection criteria and fashion information sources depending on the ages of leisure activities consumers, it was found that the emotional involvement and observation source were high in the group of 20-24 yrs old consumers and that the emotional involvement, intrinsic criteria and observation source were high in the group of 25-29 yrs old consumers. Also, in the group of 30-34 yrs old consumers, the emotional involvement, observation source and experience/personal source were high.
This Research focuses on the effect of location-based mobile advertisement considering both of product involvement and advertising expression. The product involvement is classified as high and low involvement and forms of text and picture advertising, which are commonly used in mobile advertising, are chose in this research. To verify the advertising effect for location-based mobile advertisement, advertising attitude, brand attitude, and purchase intention are assessed by conducting survey experiment, which is stimulated for the location-based mobile advertisement including product involvement and advertising expressions. The results presented in this research indicate that the low-involvement product shows lower advertising effect rather than high-involvement product, because consumers recognize the mobile advertisement with low-involvement. The Second finding is that the effect of picture mobile advertising is more effective than that of text mobile advertising and this result is consistent with previous researchers. Finally, the favorable effects for location-based mobile advertisement is more effective than that of non-location-based mobile advertisement, because location-based mobile advertising can cause the immediate response for consumer to react with given advertising.

The purpose of this study is to suggest an improvement plan for the waterfront by conducting an empirical analysis of users of the city's waterfront. For this purpose, this study conducted a field investigation and questionnaire survey on the waterfront of Sincheon, Daegu Metropolitan City. Based on this, this study investigated the importance and satisfaction levels of environmental factors according to the purpose of using the waterfront and proposed the improvement plans through an ISA(Importance-Satisfaction Analysis). The analysis results are as follows. In the case of using the waterfront for exercise, 'The division of bicycle trails and promenades' had the highest level of importance, while satisfaction level for items with 'Convenience facilities such as vending machines, toilets and water fountains' was found to be the lowest. In the case of using the waterfront for leisure and relaxation, 'Tree shade' had the highest level of importance, and the satisfaction level of the item on 'Whether to hold events such as exhibitions' was lowest. The ISA results showed that when the waterfront was used for the purpose of exercise, leisure and relaxation, items such as 'Convenience facilities such as vending machines, toilets and water fountains', 'Cleanliness of space and water quality' and 'Water quality management' had a high level of importance, but had a low level of satisfaction, which suggests that they should be improved on a preferential basis. Next, items requiring intensive improvement for exercise purposes were 'Tree shade', 'Rest facilities such as benches and pergolas', 'Width of bicycle trails and promenades' and 'The division of bicycle trails and promenades'. Leisure and relaxation found that 'Lighting facilities' require improvement. It is expected that if a river improvement project is implemented based on the above results, effective financial commitment and investment will be made.
This paper presents an experimental study on the discharge head of Cherepnov water lifter that was continuously operated with the aid of the siphon. The energy used by the Cherepnov water lifter is derived from the potential energy ofthe water itself. The lifter consists of three interconnected tanks and five pipes, one of which is open and two others are hermetically sealed. The effects of varying operating parameters such as the tank and pipe size, the ratio between head of discharge and drop height were analyzed. As a result, factors that can maximize the efficiency and increase the average delivery rate were indentified. When the ratio between head of discharge and drop height is about 0.5, the efficiency of Cherepnov water lifter is maximized. In order to design the efficient Cherepnov water lifter, the discharge head of the Cherepnov water lifter should be assigned to be twice as much as the drop height. The effect of tank size on the efficiency is less than 5%, while the effect of the pipe size is not negligible. The larger the pipe size is, the more the efficiency increases.
Purpose - This study aimed to investigate the correlation between the social activity of the elderly and recognition of family cohesion of the elderly who are exposed to the current aging society. In addition, the study has delved into the method of family cohesion improvement through the differences between groups based on the mediator effect of how the results have effects on the elderly's self-control capabilities. Research design, data, and methodology - This study has targeted the elderly who are attending the elderly university among users in seven community centers located in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do area. The study has also conducted a survey by the format of a half-structured questionnaire. It is aiming to investigate the elderly's family cohesion with children and their self-control capability, and understand their satisfaction of social activity to help successful elderly life. The study has suggested the following as mentioned. First, the study analyzed that the perceptual factor of family cohesion with children would be deducted based on advanced researches. Second, the influencing relationship would be analyzed through the relational analysis between the elderly's family cohesion and social activity. Results - The family cohesion with children has a significant effect on psychological happiness and it showed the influencing relationship with improvement of the elderly's self-control capability. Therefore, creating fellowship through meaningful conversation with children would be needed. In addition, various programs and consultant service would be offered to build healthy relationship between aged parents and their children. Through this, the elderly will be able to have not only better relationships with their family, but also increased psychological health and well-being as well. Conclusions - It is needed that not only supporting policies for children who take care of aged parents but also that the elderly who need long-term care could meet their children whenever they want through increased numbers of sanatoriums operated by cities and countries. In addition, the nation would offer financial and administrative support continuously so that people receive the benefits from sanatoriums located in the locality of children's residence beyond the elderly's residence. Moreover, social infra would be established as well.
While the concept of involvement has long intrigued marketing researchers, its application to the case of wine purchase behavior has been limited in Korea. In particular, little research has attempted to assess the outcome of the consumer's choice of wine based on the types of consumers(outsider, beginner, lover, specialist) relevant to the involvement. Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate how they use different cues to make a wine purchase decision according to the types of wine consumers and in relation to the consumer's involvement levels. A questionnaire was organized and distributed widely to 380 of various wine consumers. 370 surveys were completed and 350 usable data(male: 49.1%, female: 50.9%) were obtained and analyzed with the SPSS package(13.0) program. We found that specialist of wine, lover of wine, and the high level involvement group have significant difference in selecting wine. It is suggested that a wine class program should be offered at a wine bar for newcomers in order to make them more interested in wine and promote various wine marketing events(for example, a music concert at the wine bar) particularly for high involvement level consumers to help increase wine consumption.
Nevertheless reported the same events, news audience have diverse sense of sights and opinions about the events because of the different news frames. This notion was repeatedly evi nnced by several framing studies. This pa wa tried to analyse an interacting relationship between viewer’s level of elaboration likelihood and the effects of the news frames. This pa wa sfrrted with a discussion about the framing effects, then compared them with Elaboration Likelihood Ms notraming effely. And this study conducted an ex waiment selecting indivi ual dispngitions (involvement and cognitive complexity) and message characteristics(number of cues and arguments) as intermediating variables on the message framing effects. This study found out that, the more involvement about the issues the viewers had, the more their thoughts coincided with the issue's frame. On the other hand, when the viewers had low involvement about the issues and cognitive complexity, the framing effects were not found because they processed the messages through the peripheral route. Although the viewers' cognitive complexity was a factor in choosing the central route, but it was not directly connected to the framing effect. Both the number of cues and argument diversity in the messages had positive relationships with the framing effects.
The purpose of this study is to learn about the decision factors affecting utilization of elderly welfare center of the elderly living in Gimpo city. The reason of the study is that the elderly welfare center as a provider of general welfare services could not only thinking about the state policy but also need to consider about the inherent role and function of the elderly. Especially for these elders living in rural areas, although the number of elderly welfare centers of the whole country has greatly increased in last 10 years, the effect and function of the facility are almost the same and they are still lack of leisure activities. This issue become a serious problem nowadays. For the above reasons, this article conducts a social survey of 360 elderly people over the age of 65 who lives in the Gimpo city which is a rural-urban type city. The research method is to examine the relationship between the predisposing factors, enabling factors and need factors of Andersen's behavior model with binary logistic regression analysis and the decision tree analysis. The result of binary logistic regression shows the most of factors of Andersen's model is significant. The factors of age, gender, education level in predisposing factors; monthly income in enabling factors and the reserve for old life, the preparation of economic activity for old life in need factors are significant. Then the result of decision tree analysis shows the interaction between factors; when the education level in predisposing factors is higher, the possibility of using of elderly welfare center becomes bigger. Also as the level of healthy promoting preparation in the need factors gets lower, the possibility of using of elderly welfare center still becomes bigger. Although differences were found in the interpretation of the results of regression analysis and decision tree analysis, the results of this study can still provide support for the necessity of elderly welfare centers providing integrated welfare services.
People generally focus on the supply side when conducting a study on the movie industry. However, to understand the movie industry better, one needs to analyze both sides - the demand and supply of movies. This paper analyzes demand-side factors that have long been taken for granted in Korea's movie industry. The study used data for 1991~2008 on the following demand-factors : the average ticket prices, the number of working days and hours, the average personal income, the number of spectators for the two major professional sports, cable TV, the number of movies released each year and the number of movie screens. This study shows that ticket prices do not conform to the law of demand. According to the law of demand, increasing price leads to a decline in demand. However, in reality, the number of viewers went up along with ticket prices. The study found that demand for movies was correlated to income levels and leisure time. An increase in the number of leisure hours and income levels pushed up demand. Contrary to general belief, a growth in the availability of substitutes, such as professional sports(soccer and baseball), did not result in a fall in demand for movies. The audiences for both sports and movies grew simultaneously as the amount of leisure time increased. Contrary to the general expectations that more diversified genres of movies will draw larger audiences by satisfying different individual tastes, the diversification had little impact, but the number of movie screens was positively correlated with audience size. In sum, changes in ticket prices and the quantity of substitutes had little influence on demand in the movie industry. Rather, it was the supply side of the industry that induced demand.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how leisure programs are utilized by senior welfare centers, and analyze the relationship between the degree of satisfaction and the resulting effect on the depressive emotions and psychological well-being of program participants. To that end, a survey was made on 128 persons aged 65 or over who were participating in leisure programs at 2 senior centers located in Seoul. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS Ver. 21. The findings were as follows: First, the most satisfactory program was Sing-Along program, while the reason for using senior welfare centers was for meeting friends and the most favorite program was hobby classes; Second, significant differences were found in depressive emotions according to age and educational background and in psychological well-being according to educational background. Third, the degree of satisfaction in programs had a meaningful relationship with depressive emotion and well-being; Fourth, there was no mediating effect of psychological well-being between the degree of program satisfaction and depressive emotion.
