Recently most Elderly in 2050 Our country is becoming an "aging society" at a speed far more rapidly than expected, the interests of silver industry is also increasing. Many researches about the elderly are already presented in academic world, especially in the field of housing environment, the housing plans on the basis of physical, social and emotional characteristics for the elderly are proposed. As the number of elderly participating in economy activities is getting higher, we selected on "active aging" generation which given a definition by OECD. In this research, we examine the present situation related to the needs for leisure time with the elderly who want to have their comfortable life. This purpose of this study is to survey the residential facilities for elderly, and how that facilities are reflected to their needs for the leisure. This study will indicate to the direction of plans in elderly housing.

This study elects 934 high school students in Kwangju, conducts the survey of the actual condition of the youn's leisure, and comes to a conclusion as follows. the young spend mean 9-10 hours a day on class, mean 6 hours on sieeping, and mean 1-2 hours on self-learning. their spending money is less than 30,000 won and is not enough as the past years. While 33.2% of respondents answered they were trained for leisure activities, 66.8% were not. Also thesurvey indicates that 79.9% of the young think a leisure course will be contribute to sound youth. In kinds of leisure, the young prefer computer game, watching TV, video game, or listening to music which are not active. It is required to guide them to enjoy active leisure activities together. the young think their leisure time is not enough, average(41%) and not enough(37.5%). Especially, thy cannot have enough time to enjoy leisure(62.5%). The young are not satisfied of leisure facilities.

The purpose of this study is to examine direct and the indirect path of social leisure activity to life satisfaction of the elderly, through comprehensive approach. I analyzed data collected 531 old people in Seoul metropolitan area on SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 7.0 It was found that the participation in any social leisure activity including leisure program, voluntary activity, religious activity and bonding networks impact indirectly to the old people's life satisfaction through the leisure satisfaction and loneliness. However, only one activity, voluntary activity, impacted directly to life satisfaction. The leisure satisfaction and loneliness played partial-mediation role between voluntarily activity and life satisfaction. From the results of this study, we can know the policy to life satisfaction for the elderly in aging society and the strategies to manage the leisure programs in social welfare agencies for the elderly.

A five-day work week has a great impact on the life styles of employed persons and their families. At the same time, the changes also impact on the transportation system because travel patterns, demand, and pattern of congestion change during weekends. The negative impacts on the transportation system should be examined in order to conceive measures to maintain dependable levels of service during weekends. The first step to pursue the issue is to identify the road segments heavily affected by augmented leisure trips. In this study, characteristics of highway segments are engineered by principal analysis using data from TCS database. Scores from principal analysis are employed to distinguish highway segments for leisure trips from total 197 segments considered in this study. In addition, indexes from principal analysis are proposed to identify highway segments for leisure trips.

The purpose of this study was to discuss leisure program to guarantee the leisure right of the elderly. In order to study on the change of leisure perspective and the existence of leisure need, it has based on the leisure program of the elderly in welfare institutions. It was suggested that; The contents of leisure program of the elderly would contain the change of leisure perspective, discovery of leisure need, improvement of the elderly's function(physical health, psychological satisfaction, and social relations), and development of new interest. In specific context, it was varied from the conditions and environments(space or equipment) in each institutes.

The daily life activities of primary school children have been increasingly diversified. This research examined the spatio-temporal characteristics of primary school children's daily life activities. The time allocation of primary school children's daily activities was monotonous. They tended to spend most of their time in school activities, private lessons after school, and studying at home. The daily trip to school has been diversified as the result the of increase in the number of double-income families, car owners, facilities for pastime, and educational facilities for private lessons after school. The selection of educational facilities for private lessons was strongly influenced by accessibility to the residence because of the limited time budget of primary school children and the controlled trip behavior by parents. The leisure activities were considered as a minor function and took place in the interval of performances of study-related activities. The high proportion of leisure activities was found in the indoor play. The amount of the time for leisure activity was very insufficient. The spatial range and time budget were strongly influenced by the institutional conditions of parents.

Busan Metropolitan City lacks leisure-oriented spaces for children compared to other cities. Furthermore, it is difficult to maintain the amusement facilities for children scattered around the city due to the fact that they were worn out. To set up a leisure-oriented park for children on the site for children amusement facilities, the present study is concerned about planning children amusement facilities for public use compatible with the new trend for children amusement facilities. For this purpose, a number of case studies, carried out domestic and abroad on developing children amusement facilities, were examined to choose appropriate facilities and feasible project plans were drawn up. Major findings of the study are as follows. First, it is strongly suggested that this project should be promoted because it is a leading pilot project for building children theme parks for each zone in Busan Metropolitan City. Second, it is suggested that field study programs should be run in connection with Busan Metropolitan City Office of Education.

This study examined households' needs of leisure facilities and identified the related factors using the survey data collected in Ulsan. It was found that current leisure facilities in Ulsan were lacked in quantity even though the needs of households were very high. Additionally, the results indicated that age of wife, education of wife, monthly income, and housing size were partially important factors in relation to the needs of various of leisure facilities.

반려동물 양육 가구는 꾸준히 증가하며 여가생활도 반려동물과 함께 보내려는 사람들이 늘었다. 관련 사업 규모도 확장하는 흐름에 따라 반려동물과 여가생활을 즐길 수 있는 동반 가능 업소의 입지를 분석한다. 서울시 내 의료시설을 포함한 반려동물 동반 가능 업소의 지도시각화를 통해 반려동물 동반 업소가 필요한 곳을 추천하고자 한다.
