특징형상 변수를 이용한 사출성형에서의 에어트랩 최적화를 위한 연구

  • 사출성형에서의 지금까지의 에어트랩 문제의 해결법은 사출금형 내에 유동적 관계와 사출성형 기술자의 경험으로 해결했었다. 본 연구에서는 에어트랩 문제를 해결하기 위하여 금형을 설계할 때 미리 에어트랩의 위치를 알고 금형 디자인을 수정하여 사출 시간의 단축과 사출성형의 경제적 효과를 얻고자 한다. 사출성형을 할 때 에어트랩의 불량이 많이 발생하는 특징 형상들을 선정하여 각각의 특징형상들을 다시 해석하여 각각의 특징형상들의 에어트랩의 발생위치와 발생률을 알아내고, 사출금형설계에서 에어트랩불량이 일어날 형상들을 특징형상 변수에 대응시켜 최적의 형상으로 수정절차를 개발하였다. 여기서, 사출속도의 조절, 금형 온도의 조절, 수지온도 조절, 금형내의 압력 조절, 벤트의 설치 등은 최적의 상태로 고정시키고 형상수정 요소로 형상의 두께, 각도, 깊이, 필렛, 모 따기를 선정하여 특징형상 상관관계 모델을 구성하였다.

Optimum Design of Rubber Injection Molding Process for the Preparation of Anti-vibration Rubber (방진고무사출성형의 적정설계)

  • The optimum mold design and the optimum process condition were constructed upon executing process simulation of rubber injection molding with the commercial CAE program of MOLDFLOW(Ver. 5.2) in order to solve the process-problems of K company relating to air-traps and short-shots. The former occurs at the cavity edge of torque-rod-bush and the latter takes place for the injection molding of dynamic dampers. As a result the process problem relating to air traps was solved by optimizing edge-angle and the number of gates to prevent the flow congestion of flow-front and to make the flow-front movement unaffected by congestion. For dynamic dampers of K company the unmolded flaw caused by their unfilled cavity was corrected by installing the air-vent at the confronting locations of both upstream and downstream of flow-front where air traps frequently occur. Besides the unmolded flaws were rectified by altering the position of gate from the upper to the middle or by increasing the number of gates. Thus the process problems of K company relating to air-traps and short-shots of torque-rod-bush and dynamic dampers, respectively, were solved by proper altering of mold design with process simulation of rubber injection molding.

  • In this paper a design procedure via computer-aided molding simulation is presented to optimize the air-trap locations in a speaker encloser of mobile phone. The molding flow simulation reveals that the race-tracking phenomenon is the dominant feature in the current mold design. In obtaining an optimal filling pattern, the local modifications of the wall thickness such as in a flow leader attachment are considered as the primary control factor, and both the gate position and the filling time become the secondary control factor. In the one-at-a-time approach, the last location to be filled in the mold cavity could be successfully moved to the extremities of the part, allowing a natural ventilation of entrapped air through the mold parting plane.

  • 본 논문은 자동차의 부품 중 에어 밴트를 효율적으로 개발하기 위하여 제품의 형상, 사출 해석, 변형과 그 제품이 완성차에 설치 시 열유동에 관한 해석 및 개발에 관한 논문이다. 이를 위하여 3차원 설계를 한 후, 사출성형 공정에 대한 충전시간, 웰드 라인, 에어트랩 등 사출 성형 공정에 대한 분석 하였다. 다음으로 완성차에 조립된 상태에서 열유동 해석을 통하여 제품 윤곽선의 적합성을 확립하였으며 이를 바탕으로 하여 금형을 제작할 수 있는 설계조건을 확립 하였다.

  • 기존의 웨이퍼 박막속에 절연박막이 삽입된 SOI(Silicon On Insulator) 웨이퍼 구조와 관련한 반도체 기판 재료가 커다른 관심을 끌어 왔으나, SOI 평가기술은 아직까지 체계적으로 확립된 것이 없으며, DLTS(Deep Level Transient Spectroscopy) 등을 이용한 전기적 평가는 거의 이루어지지 않은 상태이다. 본 연구에서는 직접접합된 웨이퍼를 약 10um내외의 활성화층을 형성시킨 6인치 P-형 SOI 웨이퍼를 제작하여 DLTS로 측정, 평가를 하였고, DLTS 측정후 관찰될 수 있는 에어지 트랩(Energy Trap)과 후속 열처리에서의 트랩의 변화등을 관찰하여, 후속 열처리조건에 따른 접합된 SOI 웨이퍼 계면의 안정화된 조건을 확보하였다.

  • One of the most common engineering processes using plastics is the injection molding. In addition, plastics are utilized over the entire areas in our life including cars and home appliances among others for their characteristics with no deterioration even after a long time, as well as for their light weights in addition to their good durability. This paper aimed to minimize defects through prior analyses on the weld line, air traps, filling time, molding temperature and deformation patterns among others while carrying out interpretations on the cooling, filling and deformation in the injection process using the moldflow for rear lamp reflectors among components for a car in making parts through the coating process after injection.

  • Plastic materials are utilized to the most important material of automobile interior-parts due to special characteristics that it is light, good strength and do not transmute quality even if pass long time. This study presented a preliminary analysis of fill time, weld line, air trap etc. for the plastic injection molding process of automobile gearbox cover through simulation using Moldflow.

  • The production processes were reviewed through the injection analysis of the shift lever as a core component of an auto lever installed in the automatic transmission of cars. The injection analysis was carried out for the shift lever and rod among the components in a shift lever module. The shift lever and rod are designed for injection molding with the insertion of a tube, a pin cable plate, and a steel rod for securing the strength of the product. The charging time, failure of injection molding, weld line, air trap, and deformation were reviewed according to this insert. Analyses on various gate positions were carried out for reviewing the cultivation and deformation of fiber around major components, such as the generation section of manipulation feeling and assembly section, so that optimal gate conditions might be reviewed and reflected in the mold design. Finally, we plan to compare the analysis results with the production of trial products.

  • A cosmetic manufacturing process requires a mold that is inevitable for mass production. Cosmetic containers are one of major factors affecting the customer's purchase decision. In addition, the manufacturing cost in cosmetic container comprises a large portion of the entire product cost. Therefore, a mold satisfying the economical feasibility, aesthetics and functionality is necessary. Among the cosmetic containers, square shape containers have a tendency of having a short shot defect product. The square shaped cosmetic containers are mostly produced as a side gate shape on the two-plate molds. On the other hand, there are two disadvantages, such as gate trace and post processing requirement. The overlap-gateproposed in this study has the characteristics of intaglio gate cutting and no need for post processing. The delivery system of the overlap gate was simulated and compared with the side gate via Moldflow. The improvement in flow, frozen rate, density, and Air trap was confirmed. Based on the simulation results, the mold and performed injection molding was fabricated. In this study, the possibility of the mass production of high aesthetic and functionality cosmetic containers was verified.

Seasonal occurrence of mushroom fly infestation and analysis of the effects of preemptive pest control technology: A case study in button mushroom farms in Buyeo County (부여지역 양송이농가 버섯파리 발생소장 및 사전방제기술 적용효과)

  • This study aimed to address the increasing demand for technologies preventing mushroom fly damage. By monitoring the annual occurrence patterns of pests over several years and accumulating data, we conducted an analysis to evaluate the efficacy of preventive measures applied before the surge in mushroom fly infestation, typically observed in May. For preemptive control, physical measures involved installing air curtains at cultivation facility entrances and placing sticky traps and insect traps around entry points to block external entry and reduce internal insect density. Additionally, we applied an organic agricultural material, Dalmatian chrysanthemum extract, weekly alongside chemical control measures. To assess the reduction in mushroom fly populations, yellow sticky traps (15×25 cm) were placed at three locations within the mushroom cultivation facility, and the occurrence patterns before and after implementing preventive measures were compared. Compared to conventional practices, the application of preventive techniques resulted in a significant reduction, with a 60% decrease from 15 levels of mushroom flies/m2 to 6 levels of mushroom flies/m2 in May and a 40% decrease from 10 levels of mushroom flies/m2 to 6 levels of mushroom flies/m2 in June. While achieving over 50% efficacy during the peak mushroom fly season with preventive measures, we identified complementary actions such as blocking external sources (gaps in cultivation facility doors) and maintaining cleanliness around cultivation facilities (proper disposal of spent substrate) for further improvement. Comprehensive analysis and safety studies, including correlation analysis with contaminants and pathogens, are recommended to ensure the widespread adoption of mushroom fly preventive techniques for safe and stable mushroom production in the agricultural sector.
