우리 나라 양식 해산어에서 분리된 Vibrio harveyi의 특성

  • 1999년 여름철 고수온기에 경북, 경남 및 부산 인근의 몇몇 넙치 양식장에서 세균성 감염증으로 보이는 질병에 의해 넙치의 폐사가 발생하여 그 원인을 조사하였다. 감염어는 복부팽만, 장충혈, 장액삼출 및 간출혈 둥의 특징적 증상을 보이면서 폐사하여, 에드워드병이나 연쇄구균증으로 의심되었다. 그러나 감염어의 환부 및 내부 장기에서 분리된 세균은 1.5% NaCl 첨가 TSA 평판배지에서 swarming을 하는 특성을 보였으며, TCBS에서 yellow 혹은 green colony를 형성하는 비브리오균인 것으로 나타나, 여러 가지 생화학 실험을 통해 V. harveyi로 추정되었다.   • Routing protocol based on multi-rate previously Proposed has a advantage that it efficiently uses channel, but it has a disadvantage that it has a overhead that it increases control packets for route set up. Therefore, this paper propose a mechanism that decreases control packet overhead and simulates this mechanism using NS-2.

On Improving Reliability of E-ODMRP (E-ODMRP의 신뢰성 향상에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper we propose a method which can be used to enhance the reliability of E-ODMRP (Enhanced On-Demand Multicast Routing Protocol). E-ODMRP has low overhead compared to its predecessors since it performs periodic refresh at a rate dynamically adapted to the nodes' mobility and adopts the local recovery. Upon detecting a broken route, a node performs a local search to graft to the forwarding mesh proactively. However in E-ODMRP there is no packet recovery mechanism. A receiver may lose some packets when it is detached from the multicast tree. We propose a simple packet recovery mechanism that can be incorporated into E-ODMRP for enhanced reliability. We show via simulation that our mechanism effectively enhances the reliability of E-ODMRP.

  • Ns-2 is a proven simulator which is widely utilized to evaluate the performance of wired and wireless network. Ns-2.33 version introduced the extended version including the modules which the core functions of existing 802.11 PHY and MAC layer are implemented. However, if the error rate, one of most important parameters to evaluate a performance of wireless network, is applied to the extended version, the simulation is ceased with several fatal errors. Furthermore, a packet error is detected and discarded on MAC layer in the traditional protocol architecture, but there is the problem which can't identify information about a packet with error by processing packet error on PHY layer in this version. In this paper, we modify the extended version to resolve the above mentioned problems. And also we perform ns-2 simulation using the modified version on the IEEE 802.11p based vehicular ad-hoc networks, and then analyze effects of error rate.

  • We proposed the context-awareness routing algorithm DDV (Dynamic Direction Vector)-hop algorithm at Mobile Ad-hoc Network(MANET). MANET has problem about dynamic topology, the lack of scalability of the network by mobile of node. By mobile of node, energy consumption rate is different. So it is important choosing routing algorithms for the minium of energy consumption rate. DDV-hop algorithms considers of the attribute of mobile node, create a cluster and maintain. And it provides a path by searching a route more energy efficient. We apply mobile of node by direction and time, the alogorighm of routning path and energy efficiency clustering is provided, it is shown the result of enery consumption that is optimized for the network.

  • In this paper, we propose a new power-efficient and reliable connected dominating set based routing protocol in the mobile ad hoc networks. Gateway nodes must be elected in consideration of residual energy and mobility because frequent reconstruction of connected dominating set result in transmission error for route losses. If node density is high, it results in a lot of contentions and more delays for network congestion. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a new construction method of connected dominating set that supports reliable and efficient data transmission through minimizing reconstruction of connected dominating set by delaying neighbor set advertisement message broadcast in proportion to weighted sum of residual energy, mobility, and the number of neighbor nodes. The performance of the proposed protocol is proved by simulation of various conditions.

Highly-reliable Multi-path Protocol by MANET (MANET에 의한 신뢰성 높은 다중 경로 프로토콜)

  • In the mobile ad hoc network, network nodes are continuously capable of movement, but have battery limitations and these characteristics of MANET cause network link failure. Therefore, when performing ubiquitous services with the application of MANET, a technique is required to improve the packet transmission rates as to enable continuous packet transmission while flexibly adapting to topology changes caused by the mobility of nodes. In this paper, we are proposing PAOMDV(Possibility based AOMDV) and OLSR-ME(OLSR with Modified Energy Efficiency) which are mixed-type protocols to solve the problem for design a more efficient protocol. Especially by classifying mobile ad hoc networks as clusters, OLSR-ME protocol is implemented on communication within the clusters, while PAOMDV is used in protocols between clusters. In addition, a selection algorithm for forwarding nodes that responding packet relays in the case of increased hops was proposed for designing a more efficient protocol than existing protocols. We verified the performance of the proposed protocols through a comparative experiment with AODV, AOMDV, ZRP, and the existing protocols. We confirmed the results of the experiment revealed that the proposed protocol had the best packet transmission rate, the shortest delay between nodes, and showed better results in routing overhead.

  • In ad-hoc networks, dynamically reconfigurable and temporary wireless networks, all mobile devices cooperatively maintain network connectivity with no assistance of base stations while they have limited amounts of energy that is used in different rates depending on the power level. Since every node has to perform the functions of a router, if some nodes die early due to lack of energy, it will not be possible for other nodes to communicate with each other and network lifetime will be shortened. Consequently, it is very important to develop a technique to efficiently consume the limited amounts of energy resources so that the network lifetime is maximized. In this paper, geographical localized routing is proposed to help making smarter routing decision using only local information and reduce the routing overhead. The proposed localized routing algorithm selects energy-aware neighbors considering the transmission energy and error rate over the wireless link, and the residual energy of the node, which enables nodes to achieve balanced energy-consumption and the network lifetime to prolong.

Photogenie as the duality and mentality of the photographic image: a study based on the theory of Edgar Morin (포토제니 혹은 사진 이미지의 이중성과 정신성 - 에드가 모랭의 논의를 중심으로)

  • This article presents a study on the concept of "Photogenie", which refers to the duality and mentality of the photographic image, with the viewpoint regarding the photographic image by Edgar Morin. First, we will look at the evolution of the concept of "Photogenie". From the field of photography, the term "Photogenie" means objects that produce light, enough to impress the photographic plate. But theorists of cinema at the beginning of the 20th century have changed the meaning of the term. For Louis Delluc, the "Photogenie" means the effect of union between the reproduction of real and artistic genius. For Jean Epstein, the "Photogenie" means mental quality, nonmaterial or inderterminable, of the photographic and cinematographic image. But Morin synthesized the arguements of Delluc and Epstein. For him, the "Photogenie" indicates both a double character of the photographic image and its mental quality. Then, based on this concept of "Photogenie," Morin said on particular aspects in the photographic image. Considering photography as a double in the anthropological sense, it puts emphasis not only the dual nature of the photographic image but also mental and spiritual quality. Combining the theory of the mage Henri Bergson and Jean-Paul Sartre, he builds his own theory of the mage that concerns both photography and cinema. In short, to Morin, the photographic image is a place where coexist absence and presence, the real and the imaginary, perception and memory, the material and mental, as well that a place of mentality which appear all our memories, hallucinations, dreams, imagination etc.

The Enhancement of a Power Control MAC Protocol for Ad Hoc Networks (에드혹 네트웍에서의 전력제어 MAC 프로토콜 향상)

  • 이동 애드 혹 망을 구성하는 노드들은 일반적으로 배터리 전력을 사용하기 때문에 이들의 에너지 소모량을 줄이는 연구들이 각 계층에 대해 이루어져 왔다. 몇몇 연구들은 매체 접근 제어 프로토콜로 많이 이용되는 IEEE 802.11 DCF의 전력 소비량을 줄이기 위한 전력 제어 기법을 제시하였다. 기본 전력 제어기법(BASIC Power Control Protocol)은 RTS-CTS와 DATA-ACK 에 대해서 각각 다른 전력을 적용하는 것이다. RTS-CTS는 최대 전력으로 전송되고, DATA-ACK는 불필요한 에너지 낭비를 줄이기 위해 최소한 의 필요한 전력으로 전송하였다. 그러므로 DATA-ACK의 전송범위(transmission range)와 전송파 감지영역(carrier sensing range)은 RTS-CTS의 영역보다 작아진다. 전송파 감지영역에서 RTS-CTS를 감지한 노드들은 신호를 올바로 해석할 수 없으므로 NAV 값을 EIFS로 설정한다. 이 EIFS 구간은 충돌을 막기에는 너무나 짧기 때문에. EIFS 구간이 지난 후에 채널이 비어있는 상태로 간주하고 전송을 시도하게 된다. 이에 따라 DATA-ACK 수신에 있어서 충돌율이 증가하게 되고 네트웍 전체 처리량이 감소하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 기본 전력제어 기법이 가지는 문제점을 해결하고 전체 네트웍 처리량을 향상 시킬수 있는 새로운 전력제어(Power Control) MAC 프로토콜을 제안하였다.
