  • The objective of this study is to verify effects of employees' cognition of their job characteristics in production department of manufacturing companies on production performance and also to verify the moderating effect of the characteristics of managerial accounting information in the relationship between job characteristics and productivity. To achieve this purpose, this study divides the factors of job characteristics into task diversity, task significance, autonomy, and task identity and production performance into flexibility, time, and quality. The results of this study are as follows. First, There is a significant relationship between job characteristics and production performance according to employees' cognition of their job characteristics. Second, There is a significant relationship between job characteristics and production performance according to the characteristics of managerial accounting information.

  • Organizations are attempting a digital transformation that converts physical business processing into virtual business processing. Through this digital transformation, organizations are overcoming time and space constraints and creating competitiveness. The digital transformation of this work environment has been accelerated as many organizations have implemented remote work due to the recent COVID-19 pandemic. This study focused on business process virtualizability, which is the result of the rapid digital transformation of the work environment. Business process virtualizability is the resulting quality, such as the suitability or excellence of business processing in a virtual environment. This research model is the effect of process, IT and organizational characteristics on business process virtualizability. As a result of the verification of people who have experienced remote work in a virtual environment, first, it was confirmed that, in terms of process characteristics, sensory requirements affect business process virtualizability, but relationship requirements, synchronism requirements, and identification and control requirements do not. Second, in terms of IT characteristics, it was confirmed that representation and reach affect business process virtualizability. Third, it was confirmed that, in terms of organizational characteristics, job autonomy affects business process virtualizability, but evaluation unfairness does not. This study found that representation and reach of IT had the most significant influence on business process virtualizability, job autonomy was next, and sensory requirements had the lowest influence. This presents practical implications for organizations to increase the success potential of business process virtualizability.

An Empirical Study on the Factors Influencing the Use of BLOG and Job Satisfaction (업무특성에 따른 블로그 사용의도와 업무만족에 관한 연구)

  • Would it be true that cutting off using BLOG in business hour prevents that job performance decreases? Even though it is right, would the worker have different reason of using BLOG according to job characteristic? This is the purpose of this study to search the answers for the questions above. Under the first hypothesis, (factors having the people use BLOG can influence the job satisfaction), independent variable was set to three factors and define as 'Interoperability', 'Informative', 'Amusement' respectively and dependent variable was set to job satisfaction in this study. The result of analyzing this hypothesis was that two factors('Interoperability', 'Informative') haveinfluence on job satisfaction but 'Amusement' factor hadn't any influence on job satisfaction. For another hypothesis, (the factor having the worker use BLOG would have different influence on job satisfaction according to job characteristic), Job characteristic was set to 3 group (fixed/unfixed, individual/co-operational, static/active) in this study and these variables were converted to dummy variable for validating the moderating effect on both variables(independent/dependent). The result of analyzing this hypothesis was that all dummy variables set to 3 groupshadn't any moderating effect on both variables. Because a dummy variable couldn't be contained the job characteristic exactly.

  • Information and communication technologies(ICT) allow and force people to work anywhere, anytime using remote databases and application systems available in real-time twenty four hours a day and seven days a week. With the real time nature of ICT, individual work is becoming more and more fragmented. Instead of working on a similar task repeatedly, individuals are required to respond to e-mails and inquiries through social networks, work on planning documents, work on presentation documents, work on spreadsheets, input necessary data on company databases, generate necessary reports from the database, run teleconference, etc., all maybe in a day's work. Work fragmentation may impact negatively on productivity as the flow is interrupted, but it may increase the productivity by allowing people to handle multiple tasks in a shorter time period. This study explores the types of work fragmentation and their characteristics. An online survey was administered to collect data about work fragmentation and work characteristics including autonomy, complexity, flexibility, usage of ICT, etc. 300 cases were used in the analysis. Analysis of k-mean cluster indicated four different types of work fragmentation: concentrated, temporally distributed, spatially distributed, and fully fragmented.

The Effect of Working Environment and Job Characteristics on Job Satisfaction of Wage Workers with Disabilities: Mediating Effect of Intention to Continue Work (장애 임금근로자의 근로환경과 업무특성이 직무만족도에 미치는 영향: 지속근무 의도의 매개효과)

  • 본 연구에서는 장애 임금근로자의 근로환경, 업무특성, 지속근무 의도, 직무만족도 간의 구조적 관계분석을 통해 장애 임금근로자의 직무만족도 향상 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 분석자료는 장애인고용패널 2차웨이브 6차년도 패널데이터 중 15세이상 임금 장애근로자 1,582명을 분석에 사용하였다. 분석결과, 첫째, 장애 임금근로자의 근로환경은 직무만족도에 정(+)적인 영향을 미쳤지만, 지속근무 의도에는 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았다. 둘째, 장애 임금근로자의 업무특성은 지속근무 의도와 직무만족도에 정(+)적인 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 장애 임금근로자의 지속근무 의도는 직무만족도에 정(+)적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 장애 임금근로자의 근무환경과 직무만족도 사이에 지속근무 의도는 매개효과를 나타내지 않았다. 다섯째, 장애 임금근로자의 업무특성과 직무만족도 사이에 지속근무 의도는 매개효과를 미치는 것으로 분석되었다.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of Logistic Information System on performance by efficiency of internal operation and organizational innovation. The results of this study as follows : The characteristic variable evaluation model that extended from the performance(user's value, perceived usefulness) of Logistic Information System were verified meaningfully. In this study, the efficiency of internal operation and organizational innovation were very important factor, to analyze the effects of Logistic Information System on performance. This study expect that Logistic Information System will achieve their Logistic Information System competitiveness through continuous quality measurement and improvement to increase the performance.

  • 사회적 커뮤니케이션 미디어는 기업 조직의 사회적 네크워크를 활발히 사용되고 있다. 각 커뮤니케이션 정보시스템은 매우 유용하게 사용되고 있지만, 업무적 특성과 사회적 영향 요인에 대한 연구는 매우 적은 편이다. 또한 새로운 정보기술의 도입, 예를 들면, 메신저와 무선 화상통신과 같은 발전은 매체 풍부성 이론으로 아직까지 적용 검증되지 못하고 있다. 본 연구는 업무적 특성과 미디어 활용 그리고 업무성과에 대한 검증을 실시하였다. 분석방법은 서베이를 통하여 소중대기업에서 근무하고 있는 280명을 대상으로 하였고 회귀분석으로 분석결과를 도출하였다. 연구결과로는 업무 특성은 미디어 사용에 긍정적인 영향요인이며 사회적 영향과 친분관계는 두 관계를 조절하고 있음을 발견하였다. 또한 커뮤니케이션 미디어의 활용은 각 업무성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있음을 발견하였다.

  • 본 연구에서는 증권사 정보시스템의 아웃소싱 성과에 영향을 미치는 기업특성적 변인에 대해 파악하고자, 아웃소싱 수혜기업인 증권사의 조직 및 부문적 특성이 아웃소싱 정도의 매개효과를 통해 아웃소싱 성과(업무효용성, 업무능률성, 업무생산성, 예산감소율)에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 실증적으로 검증하였다. 증권사의 조직적 특성(경쟁전략, 재무능력)이 아웃소싱 정도를 매개로 성과에 미치는 영향을 검증한 가설 1과 증권사의 부문적 특성(업무특수성, IT 자원, IT 역량)이 아웃소싱 정도를 매개로 성과에 미치는 영향을 검증한 가설 2를 실증분석한 결과, 경쟁전략, 재무능력, 업무특수성, IT 자원, IT 역량의 요인들이 아웃소싱 정도를 통해 업무효용성과 예산감소율에 영향을 주는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 특히 재무능력, IT 역량 등이 업무효용성, 예산감소율과 같은 정보시스템 아웃소싱의 성과에 상대적으로 많은 영향력을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 정보시스템 아웃소싱 정도의 매개효과를 확인할 수 있었다.

A study on the Ethics Characteristics according to Service and Practice of Construction Manager (건설사업관리자의 업무수행에 따른 윤리 특성 고찰)

  • Construction Management is the overall management of the project as construction manager and the owner are united together. Construction manager's role is to conduct the overall or partial construction administration in the 'design, bid, build' process, in the owner's interests with maintaining technical neutrality. Construction manager is becoming one of new professionals in the building process and the contract defines their roles and the range of services, so high level of ethnics are required. This study suggests the legal status of the construction manager and the ethnic standards and the ethnic's characteristics. In conclusion, firstly, the legal characteristics of the administration of construction management are the delegations contract, the responsibility of negligence and the duty of due diligence, abided by the contract that ties between the owner and the construction manger. Secondly, the administerial characteristics of the construction management are the role of mediator, the service of professional technology, accountability to the owner and publicness. Thirdly, due to these characteristics, as a professional, the standard of ethnic assessment for the construction project manager are intention, act and result, so with the relation to that, morality, deontology and consequentialism have been suggested in this study.

  • Social collaboration and knowledge sharing among experts are the key characteristics of information system development projects. But the difficulty and complexity of communication may be the cause of the project failures. This study analyzes the influence of on-line social networking as communication system in information system development projects. A model has been developed to relate system, knowledge and social factors of on-line social networking to the performance of project members. Transactive Memory System (TMS), describing knowledge sharing process in human relationship, is used as a mediator. The analysis concludes that knowledge and social characteristics have positive effect on the members' performance, implying that the use of mobile devices and PCs as a social communication tool can be an effective way to enhance the possibility of project success.
