An Exploratory Study on Narrative Elements-Based Therapeutic Rap Protocol for Enhancing Discourse Skills in Adolescents With Mild Intellectual Disabilities (경도 지적장애 청소년의 담화기술 향상을 위한 이야기 구성요소 기반 치료적 랩 프로토콜의 탐색적 연구)

  • This case study aimed to develop a therapeutic rap protocol based on narrative components for improving discourse skills of adolescents with mild intellectual disability (ID) and to explore its applicability. The protocol matched narrative elements (background, initiating event, internal response, attempts, and reaction) with rap components (verse, hook, and interjections), guiding participants to narrate their experiences in a connected discourse form. The protocol was also structured to gradually increase in difficulty, considering the developmental levels of adolescents with ID and it included steps for understanding discourse structures, applying narrative elements to content creation, and expanding narratives. Post-intervention analysis of the stories and rap lyrics created by participants to express their real-life experiences showed that participants increased the length of their stories and rap compositions, with notable improvements in rhythmicity and the inclusion of narrative elements. These findings suggest that, instead of constructing rap from random utterances, providing a structured framework reflecting discourse structure enhanced participants' understanding of event context and logical connections. Furthermore, the various elements and rhythmic features of rap can strengthen motivation and organization in discourse. This study highlights the therapeutic potential of rap in addressing the unique developmental needs of adolescents with mild ID, thereby diversifying and systematizing music therapy interventions for this population.

  • The purpose of this study is to understand the reactions of viewers to the scene of violence (homely violence, verbal violence, tools violence) and to consider factors to consider when producing violent movies and suggest some implications. The implications of this study are as follows. First, film producers can be more realistic in dealing with disputes and controversies in the home than in the overall contents of the film. Second, when film producers put verbal violence into the film, they would rather not use excessive verbal or profanity, but rather use a verbal that would not make the relationship between the films strange. Finally, film makers should use some tools to mosaic the tools used to express violence to others, thereby reducing some of the cruelty expressed in movies.

  • The motion-graphic have been a more important factor in image illustration and typography since the development of visual culture was advanced. Therefore the visualized case of intented content with the creative typography is easily seen in television CF, movies and web pages. They suggest that variable factors such as language, time, shape, motion, color and sound should be applied and produced to motion typogaraphy. But the physiologic features as sex, age, health status, illness and physical size have an important effect in the communication process. So, the more effective result were gained than the fast-developing other mass media if these features were applied to the motion typography with semi-language speciality.

  • Printing advertisement is aggregate of commercial information communication text consisted of image sign and language sign. This means that verbal tabor through visual stimulation and character is mixed and passes information through picture. Typography is process that visualize verbal appeal in printing advertisement. Therefore study about typography is very important for a visual expression element in printing advertisement. Typography expression of Korean printing advertisement accomplished fast qualitative growth after 2000 flowing the 1990s. This study makes that typography expression propensity of Korean printing advertisement after 2000 of changed of expression structure, changed of expression rule, changed of expression method etc. Accordingly, extracted each three analysis bases. And this study presented expansive direction of typography expression of printing advertising in case studies.

  • 동사의 애매성 해소는 언어학의 여러 부문 중에서도 가장 실체가 불명확한 의미를 다루는 것이기 때문에 언어학뿐만 아니라 자연언어처리에 있어서도 가장 해결하기 어려운 문제 중에 하나이다. 애매성은 언어학에서 말하는 동음이의어와 다의어를 동시에 포괄하는 개념으로 정의된다. 단일어를 대상으로 한 이와 같은 분류는 비교적 명확한 반면 두 개의 언어 이상의 다국어를 대상으로 하는 기계번역용 사전과 같은 대역사전에 있어서는 동음이의어와 다의어의 구변은 경계가 불명확하여 의미에 기반한 대역어의 작성에 도움이 되지 않는다. 그 원인은 의미를 구성하는 세 가지 요소인 [실체], [개념], [표현]의 관점에서 [실체]와 [개념]은 어느 언어를 막론하고 보편적인 반면 [실체]와 [개념]을 최종적으로 실현하는 형대인 [표현]의 경우 각각의 언어에 따라 그 형태가 다르게 표출된다고 하는 사실 때문이다. [나무]라는 [실체]가 있다고 할 때 [나무]에 대한 [실체]와 [개념]은 언어를 초월해서 공통적이라고 할 수 있다. 한편, [개념]을 표현하는 실체인 [표현]은 언어에 따라 [namu](한국어), [ki](일본어), [tree](영어) 등과 같이 언어에 따라 자의적으로 [개념]을 표현하고 있다. [namu], [ki], [tree]가 같은 뜻을 나타낸다고 인식할 수 있는 것은 [개념]이 같기 때문이지 이들 각각의 [표현]이 의미적 연관성을 갖고 있기 때문은 아니다. 지금까지 의미를 다루는 연구에서는 이와 같은 관점이 결여됨으로 인해 의미의 다양성을 정확히 파악하는 데 한계가 있었으며 애매성 해소에 관한 연구도 부분적 시도에 그친 면이 적지 않다. 본고에서는 다국어를 대상으로 한 대역사전의 구축에 있어서 다의어와 동음이의어에 대한 종래의 분류의 문제점을 지적하고 나아가 애매성 해소의 한 방법론으로 활발히 이용되고 있는 시소러스의 분류체계의 한계를 지적한다. 나아가 이의 해결책을 한국어와 일본어의 대역사전의 구축에서 얻어진 경험을 바탕으로 제시한다.

  • 말하기는 곧 행위라는 주장이 화용론의 핵심명제이다. VTS 대화는 선박들의 효율적이고 안전한 항해를 위해 이루어지는 언어적 상호작용 행위이다. 본 연구에서는 모든 VTS 화행은 항해행위의 수행에 따른 부수적인 요소가 아니라 필수불가결한 요소라는 점에 주목하고자 하였다. 먼저 화용론에서 다루는 대화의 협력원칙, 공손원칙, 명령화행 및 약속화행의 적정성, 최소대화의 원칙을 VTS 대화 상황에 적용하여 VTS 화행의 특성을 정립하고자 하였다. 그리고 실제 발생했던 해양사고에서 선박 간 담화 또는 대화를 분석함으로써 화용론적 실패가 충돌사고에 어떻게 영향을 끼치는지를 검토해보았다. VTS 상황에서 이루어지는 담화 또는 대화분석을 통해 해양사고의 원인을 심도 있게 분석하는 방안과 이의 결과를 항해사 및 관제사 교육에 활용하는 방안을 제시하였다. 덧붙여서 co-Navigation 개념이 항해안전의 새로운 패러다임이 되어야 한다는 것을 주장하였다.

  • 높임법의 최소형 정립은 말본범주의 인지뿐만 아니라, 사전의 어휘항복 설정에 절대적 중요성을 갖는다. 굴곡가지의 높임법 낱덩이, 곧 최소형 인지의 요건은 첫째, 분포상 굴곡가지가 줄기에 직접 통합되어야 한다는 것이며, 둘째, 줄기에 직접 통합되는 요소가 높임법의 의미를 가져야 한다는 것이다. 단순형태소가 줄기에 직접 통합하여 존대의 의미를 가지는 것은 홑최소형이 되고, 다른 것과 의무적으로 통합하여 줄기에 직접 통합되는 것은 겹최소형이다. 의무적인 겹최소형이 다시 독립적으로 설 수 있는 비의무적 요소와 통합하여 새로운 존대의 의미를 생성한다면, 이 또한 겹최소형이 된다. 높임의 최소형은 높임법과 의항법의 이차원의 성격을 띤다. 따라서 높임의 최소형의 전 분포는 높임의 등분과 함께, 의향법 체계에 걸쳐 있다. 최소형은 풀이씨의 종류에 따라 다름도 주의할 일이다. 시상법은 높임법의 구성소일 뿐이며, 또한 그 자체 독립하는 것으로 높임법과 의향법과는 그 차원을 달리한다.

  • Lately, most of the libraries subscribe electronic resources such as e-journals, under the license contracts for the access and use of these electronic resources. It was found that the management of licensed electronic resources in the library has become one of the major problems due to the lack of proper metadata elements in the existing management system of electronic resources. The purpose of the study is to establish metadata for licensed electronic resources.

  • Public Service Advertising(PSA) is the integrated marketing concept including strategy and technology in all its aspects that pursue the changes of community to seek an agreement of its members by the intentional and the target oriented way. PSA to the exclusion of commercial intention reflects the current social flow and subject since it is focused to the social issue. PSA plays an important role in creating the further cultural value, and also affects present cultural value to advertising message. In this aspect, this study is very valuable to design the plan for further effective management of advertisement and to analyze communication strategy of PSA. This study is to make dear the nature of PSA by the analysis of contents of visual image and linguistics' factors in actual produced and broadcasted TV advertising, called 'Protection of environment' In the results, PSA related the environment is working to linguistic-centered persuading message corresponding to visual factor, this intends to educate and instruct the consumers in 1980's. PSA, therefore, shows a non-description nature without story line and a hero(heroin) on it. In contrast, after 1990's, PSA was made up image-centered and maximized the effectiveness public campaign through the activating consumer's judgement and intervention. We are able to know that it contributes to considering and persuading the consumer to suggest the story format through the visual way to deliver the message. This study of relationship between visual image and linguistics is a common trend appeared in all media including today's advertising, and may be a remarkable result to present proper direction of PSA campaign.

A Study on the describability of landmarks in route communication using virtual reality (가상현실을 이용한 루트 커뮤니케이션에서의 랜드마크의 설명 용이성(Describability)에 관한 연구)

  • The main goal of this study is to find the role of landmarks in route communication process and to explore the describability of landmarks, a linguistic factor of landmarks that was not noted frequently by previous wayfinding studies. Through analysis of landmarks in this study, the describability of landmarks was identified and this study hypothesized that the describability affects to the whole process of route communication. A virtual reality (VR) simulation test was conducted to examine the effect of the describability of landmarks in route communication. The independent variable was the describability of landmarks and landmarks. As dependent variables, the total time to find final destination and the number of errors were measured. Results showed that the describability of landmarks gives positive effect to the whole of route communication processes. Consequently, this study provides the solution of wayfinding problems in route communication and suggests the usage of landmarks as a prerequisite for planning spaces having the efficiency of wayfinding.
