사람의 언어를 이해하는 자연언어처리 시스템을 개발하기 위해서는 의미처리를 위한 지식 베이스(knowledge base)가 필요하다. 지금까지 사람이 가진 지식 베이스를 컴퓨터에 도입하려는 많은 노력을 기울이고 있고 그 결과물로 온톨로지(ontology)와 시소러스(thesaurus)가 만들어지고 있다. 외국에서는 지식 베이스의 중요성을 알고 많은 연구를 수행하고 있으며 그 대표적인 사례들에는 Roget's Thesaurus, WordNet, EDR 개념사전, CYC, Euro WordNet 등이 있다. 이 중에서 가장 대표적이며 많은 활용을 보이는 것이 Princeton 대학의 WordNet이다. WordNet은 인간의 어휘지식에 대한 심리 언어학적인 연구의 결과물로써 심리학자와 언어학자들에 의해 10여 년 동안 구축되고 있는 영어에 대한 어휘데이터베이스이다. 본 논문에서는 WordNet을 기반으로 명사에 대해서 영한사전과 국어사전을 이용하여 구축한 한국어 워드넷을 소개하구 구축시 고려한 기본지침을 소개하도록 하겠다.

단어 인지과정은 언어 이해과정의 한 부분으로, 신속성과 정확성 그리고 심성어휘집을 그 특정으로 한다. 표기 단어의 인지과정에는 그 언어의 정서법 체계가 반영된다. 한국어의 단어 인지과정에 대한 모델 작성의 예비 연구로 음운적 처리와 어휘 근접에서의 정서법적 정보의 역활에 대해 검토하였다. 어휘 근접의 단위에 대한 논의에서는 음절, 자질, 단어등의 형식적 언어학적 단위외에 심리적 단위가 고려되어야 함이 지적되었으며, 그 심리적 단위들과 정서법의 관계에 대해 논의하였다. 마지막으로 한글 단어 인지과정에 관한 한 모델로서 상호작용 활성화 모델의 가능성에 주목하였다.

To make ones life meaningful is one of human's most valuable goal. Nevertheless, for cancer patients who are in the last phase of their lives obtaining this goal may be threatened by physical, psychological, and social difficulties. Music therapy ran be utilized to effectively fill in these physical, psychological, and social needs. In the form of a creative art, music therapy can be effective in easing the pain and tension as well as assisting the patient to discover meanings of life through psychological comfort. Further, music is itself a verbal/non-verbal communication tool and thus connects the patients with their families with understanding and sympathy. This study aims to examine the need and role of music therapy in hospice.

임상적인 응용을 목적으로 하는 전산화 신경 심리 검사 시스템을 개발하였다. 개발된 시스템은 국소적 뇌기능 장애 진단에 뛰어난 14개의 검사록 구성되어 있으며 집중력·언어능력, 공간 및 도형 인지 능력, 기억력, 운동 집중 능력 등을 진단하게 된다. 개발된 시스템은 멀티미디어 객체지향개념에 의거하여 설계 구현되었고, 마이크로소프트 Windows 에 기반을 둔 그래픽 인터페이스를 채용하여 운용이 용이하도록 하였다. 또한 마우스와 터치스크린을 이용하여 피검사자로부터 입력을 손쉽게 받아들 일수 있도록 하였으며, 색체 단어검사, 범주화검사, 언어기억검사들을 한글화하여 검사의 효용성을 향상시켰다. 개발된 시스템을 정상인 그룹과 환자에 적용한 결과 뇌기능 장애 진단에 유용하게 사용될 수 있음을 확인할수 있었다.

이 연구는 MBTI 심리기능을 근거로 사용자 유형을 ST와 NF로 구분하고, 그룹별로 나눈 일상대화를 전사 후 분석하여 대화에서 나타나는 청자의 공감적 반응이 성향에 따라 차별화되는 점을 발견하고 이를 챗봇 대화 실험에 적용하여 분석결과의 유효성을 귀납적으로 증명하였다. 고성능의 초대규모 생성모델을 필두로 한 채팅 에어전트 구현이 보편화된 시점에서 진정 가치있는 대화 모델은 유창한 언어 구사 능력뿐만 아니라 사용자의 성향에 적합한 만족스러운 대화 경험을 제공할 수 있어야 함을 시사한다. 이 연구는 리얼월드의 대화 방식을 모방하여 챗봇 대화로 재현하였다는 점에서 실질적인 B2C 대화 서비스의 질적 향상에 기여도가 높을 것으로 기대된다.

한국어에는 주격 표지를 가진 명사가 두 번 이상 나타나는 구문이 자주 나타난다. 이러한 구문을 주격 중출 구문이라고 한다. 주격 중출 구문은 크게 부분-전체 구문, 양화사 유동 구문, 그리고 심리 술어 구문으로 나누어진다. 본고에서는 부분-전체 구문과 양화사 유동 구문은 함수-논항 관계를 이용하여 분석하고, 심리 술어 구문은 의미역할과 자리 이동으로 설명한다. 이러한 것은 의미적 측면과 통사적 측면을 함께 고려한 것으로 좀 더 일관성 있는 설명을 위한 접근이라 하겠다.

This study investigated prevalence rates and differences in social behaviors, psychosocial adjustments, and language ability of preschool children who engaged in bully/victim subgroups: aggressive victims, passive victims, bullies, and non-involved. The participants were 297 preschool children and their teachers in Jeju City. The teachers measured children's peer victimization, social behaviors, and teacher-child relationships. Children's language ability and self-concept were also assessed by individual interview. There were significant differences in social behaviors, psychosocial adjustments, and language ability among the bully/victim subgroups. Aggressive victims included in a high risk group characterized by a high level of aggression, ADHD, peer rejection as well as conflicted relationships with teachers. Moreover, they had limited language ability. The findings highlight behavioral heterogeneity among the bully/victim subgroups in early childhood.

객관적인 검사도구인 Dr. Speech Science(DSS)의 음성평가 결과가 갖는 의미를 알아보고자 이 연구를 하였다. 성대결절환자 여자 성인 25명을 대상으로 DSS를 이용한 음성평가와 청각심리적 검사방법인 GRBAS와의 관계를 비교 분석하였다. 청각심리적 검사인 GRBAS의 0, 1, 2, 3의 각 Grade에 따라 DSS의 음성평가의 결과와 비교하였다. DSS의 음성평가 결과로서 Grade가 0, 1, 2인 경우 총 15례중 1례를 제외한 모든 경우에 있어서 hoarseness, harshness, breathiness항목에서 정상소견을 나타냈으며 Grade가 3인 경우에는 총 10례 중 6례에서 hoarseness, harshness, breathiness항목에서 정상소견을 나머지 4례에서는 hoarseness에서 slight한 정도를 보여주었다.

The present study investigated the characteristics of perpetrators/victims of verbal abuse in childhood, and analyzed sociopsychological factors affecting verbal abuse. Based on child abuse cases between 2010 and 2015 collected from Public Prosecutors' Offices nationwide, we investigated 154 cases with verbal abuse of children and compared them with 398 cases without verbal abuse. Perpetrators of verbal abuse of children were more likely to be male, alcoholic, and with previous criminal convictions than those without verbal abuse. Additionally, perpetrators of verbal abuse of children were more likely to be hostile and controlling toward children, discriminate amongst siblings, and favor one child over another than those without verbal abuse. Finally, we discussed practical applications for prevention of child abuse and verbal abuse in particular and limitations of the study, and made suggestions for future research.
