타인 양육 영아-어머니 애착에 대한 생태학적 연구 (An Ecological Study on Infant-Mother Attachment in a Nonmaternal Care)

  • This study investigated infant, mother/famny, and nonmaternal care characteristics contribution to infant- mother attachment through ecological perspective. Participants were forty 12-to 18-month-o1d infants and their mothers. Infants were observed in the Strange Situation to assess the pattern of infant-mother attachment; the Observational Ratings of the Caregiving Environment was used to assess the caregiving environment. Mothers were interviewed with the questionnaires, and observed in the laboratory "living room". There were significant effects of material sensitivity/responsiveness and good quality child care on secure attachment. Infant, mother/family, and nonmaternal care characteristics were mutually related.

중국 조선족 아동의 어머니와의 애착이 자아개념, 또래관계 및 학교생활 적응에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Attachment with Mother on Self-Concept, Peer Relationship and School Adjustment in Korean-Chinese School Age Children)

  • The present study examined the relationships among maternal attachment, self-concept, peer relationship, and school adjustment. The subjects were 293 Korean-Chinese elementary school students living in Yanji and Shenyang, China. The Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment (Armsden & Greenberg, 1987), Social Competence Inventory(Doh & Falbo, 1999), and Self-Perception Profile for Adolesents(Harter, 1988) were used to measure the subjects' maternal attachment, and peer relationship, school adjustment, and self-concept, respectively. When structural equation modeling was applied, the results supported not only the model that maternal attachment and self-concept exert an influence on peer relationship, but also the model that they exert an influence on school adjustment. The results of this study suggest that the secure maternal attachment of Korean-Chinese works as an important mechanism that explains their peer relationship and adjustment at elementary school.

자폐아동을 위한 모-아애착증진 프로그램의 효과 (EFFECTS OF THE MOTHER-CHILD ATTACHMENT PROMOTION PROGRAM FOR AUTISTIC CHILDREN)

  • 자폐아동을 위해 개발된 모-아애착증진 프로그램의 효과를 평가하고자 참여군과 비참여군의 변화를 비교하였다. 대상자는 S대학교병원 애착증진 프로그램에 참여하는 자폐아동과 어머니 7쌍, 참여하지 않는 자폐아동과 어머니 4쌍이었다. 6개월 간격으로 2회, 비디오 촬영법 등을 통해 자료를 수집하였으며 Wilcoxon Rank(Sign) Sum Test로 모-아애착, 양육행위, 자폐적인 행동 특성의 변화를 비교 분석하였다. 그 결과 참여군의 애착행동의 변화는 같은 기간 비참여군의 애착행동의 변화보다 유의하게 컸으며 일치성을 제외한 근접성, 상호성, 정감성에서 양적으로나 질적으로 긍정적 변화를 보였다(p<.05). 접촉유지, 차별적, 애정적 행동이 크게 증가하였으나 공감적, 일치적, 합동주시 행동의 변화는 적었고 아동간에 개별차가 컸다. 아동의 성장발달을 위한 어머니의 양육행위도 참여군에서 크게 증가하였으나 그룹간 차이는 유의하지 않았다(p<.05). 애착행동의 증진은 또한 자폐적 행동 특성에 긍정적 영향을 미쳐 모-아애착 증진 프로그램이 자폐아동들의 사회적 행동의 증진 뿐만 아니라 문제 행동의 개선에도 유용한 조기중재 프로그램으로서의 가능성을 보였다.

  • The purpose of this study was to describe infant and mother behaviors across situations. And, it was to examine the associations between infant's temperament and infant's patterns of attachment to their mother with mother-infant interaction. Results showed that there were significant main effects for the attentional focus of the situation and the level of regulatory challenge on observed mother-infant interaction behaviors. Also, mother and infant showed significant differences in their interaction behaviors depending on the patterns of infant temperzment and the patterns of infant-mother attachment.

성인학습자의 자아존중감, 모 애착이 이러닝 교육과정의 학습자가 선택한 전공만족도에 미치는 영향에 관한 융합적 연구 (The Convergence Study on Influences of Self-esteem in Adulthood and Attachment to Mother on Adult Students' Major Satisfaction in e-learning education)

  • 본 연구는 성인학습자들의 모 애착이 자아존중감을 매개로 이러닝 교육과정에서 선택한 전공만족도에 영향을 미치는지 분석하고자 구조방정식을 통해 검증하였다. 본 연구대상은 이러닝 교육대상자로서 선정가능한 사이버대학에 재학 중인 529명이 설문에 참여하였으며, 선정한 변인들의 관계를 분석하기 위해 구조방정식 모형분석(Structural Equation Modeling)을 사용하였다. 본 연구의 결과에 의하면, 아동기 어머니에 대한 애착은 자아존중감을 매개로 이러닝 교육과정에 참여하고 있는 성인 학습자들의 전공만족도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 통해 아동기 애착 및 자아존중감이 이러닝 교육에 참여하고 있는 성인학습자의 학교생활에 영향을 미치는 요인이라는 것을 알 수 있다.

  • The relationship of mother-child attachment and children's self-perception was assessed in 43 five-year-olds and their mothers. Attachment Q-set(Waters & Deane, 1985) was used to assess attachment security and the Puppet Interview(Cassidy, 1986) to assess global self-esteem. Data were analyzed by t-tests and Pearson's correlations. Attachment security was positively correlated with global self-esteem. Girls had more positive global self-esteem than boys.

  • The purpose of this study to gather information on demographic statistics, children’s attachment to their mothers, and daily stress variants in order to assess their effects on child’s self-concept and depression within multi-ethnic familiy settings. A questionnaire survey was used to targeted 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th graders in elementary schools in Jeonnam. A total of 158 children were surveyed. SPSS for Windows 12.0 was used to carry out descriptive, and comparative statistical analysis such as Cronbach's $\alpha$, correlations analysis, and a hierarchical regression analysis. Result showed that the most significant variant affecting self-concept among children from multi-ethnic families was attachment to their mothers. Other related individual variants were in order of importance, communication skills, feelings of alienation, and mothers’ nationalities. The variant most responsible for having an affect on depression among children from multi-entnic families was the attachment to their mothers. Other related individual variants were in order of importance, feelings of alienation, stress from peer relationships, mothers’ nationalities, and stress from economic and physical environments.

영유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 전통육아에 대한 이미지 분석: Q방법론적 접근 (A Study on the Image Type of the Korean Traditional Child Rearing: Focused on Mothers with Infancy and Early Childhood)

  • 본 연구는 영유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니들의 전통육아에 대한 이미지 유형과 그 특성을 Q-방법으로 분석하였다. 이를 위해 전통육아를 경험한 어머니들을 중심으로 심층면담을 실시하고 어머니들에게 전통육아에 대한 브레인스토밍을 실시하여 Q-모집단을 마련하였다. 그 중 40개의 진술문을 추출하여 Q-표본을 만들고, 40명의 어머니들에게 진술문의 동의수준을 9단계로 분류하도록 하여, 그 결과를 QUANL 프로그램으로 분석하였다. 연구결과 영유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니들의 전통육아에 대한 인식 유형은 네 가지로 구분되었으며, 각 유형 '조화로움을 통한 관계 지향적 육아', '한국 고유의 전승가치를 담은 원형적 육아', '생명을 존중하는 실천 중심적 육아', '현대적 변형이 필요한 애착육아'로 명명되었다. 이 연구는 어머니들이 가지는 전통육아에 대한 이미지를 살펴봄으로써 전통육아의 전승과 효과적 실천을 위한 실제적 시사점을 도출하는 계기가 되었다.

  • The Pattern of Young Child-Mother Attachment and the Self-Concept in Young Children. This work sheds light on the patterns of chi1dren's attachment to their mother and the self-concept of young children. Ninety-two participants were selected from kindergarten and nurseries in the city of Taegu. All the children were from 3 to 5 clears old. The measurement instruments were the attachment story completion task, created by Cassidy, and the self-concept test, designed and used by Bently and Yeatts. The data was analyzed by using frequencies, percentages, independent-samples t-test, one-way ANOVA, and the Scheffe test. The study's major findings are as follows: First, in the area of young child-mother attachments, the most common pattern was a secure attachment. The percentage of insecure-avoidant attachment was similar to that of the insecure-ambivalent attachment. Second, in terms of gender, there were no significant differences in self-concept among young children. Third, the self-concept held by young children varied significantly according to age. The younger the age, the more positive was the self-concept. Finally, the self-concept of children varied greatly according to the pattern of child-mother attachment. Those children who were more securely attacked to their mothers evidenced a more positive self-concept than those children who were insecurely attached to their mother.

유아의 인지능력, 어머니의 양육행동, 어머니와 교사에 대한 애착이 유아의 만족지연능력에 미치는 영향 (The Impact of Preschoolers' Cognitive Ability, Parenting Behavior, and Attachment to their Mothers and Teachers on Preschoolers' Ability of Delay of Gratification)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the impact of preschoolers' cognitive ability, parenting behavior, and attachment to their mothers and teachers on delay of gratification of preschoolers. The participants of this study were 116 mothers and their 15 teachers of 3-6 year olds from 2 day-care centers in Seoul. T-test, F-test, Correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis were used for data analysis. First, the result of this study showed that preschoolers' delay of gratification by cognitive ability was significant to only motor intelligence. Second, preschoolers' delay of gratification showed positive correlation with warm-acceptance of parenting. Third, preschoolers' delay of gratification by attachment to their mothers was statistically significant, but it was not significant to their teachers. Fourth, the effect of preschoolers' intelligence, parenting behavior, and attachment to their mothers and teachers on delay of gratification was statistically significant to mothers' warm-acceptance($\beta$=.24, p<.05) and was negatively significant to mothers' permissiveness(.$\beta$=-.35, p<.001).
