무주 양수발전소 현지 암반내 초기응력 측정에 관한 연구

  • Natural stress measurements have been made at two sites at the depth of 280m from surface by means of stress relief overcoring methods using three directonal deformation gage. Attempts have been made to determine the state of natural stress in the rock and provide useful basic data to investigate the stress distribution and the determination of yield zone around powerhouse cavern. The magnitude and the direction of the miximum principal stress obstained from in-situ stress measurements is -96.1kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$ and N38$^{\circ}$W, N35$^{\circ}$W respectively. Vertical stresses are in approximately agreement with the theoretical value. The ratio of measured to theoretical stresses are 85% at two sites. The ratio of average horizontal to vertical stresses(k=($\sigma$h)ave/$\sigma$v is 1.07.

  • The pumped-storage power system is the one of the hydroelectric power systems, generating electricity with hydraulic head difference. In this system, the electricity is produced during the hours of peak demand by using water that has been pumped into an upper reservoir from a lower reservoir during the hours of low demand. Generally, the system consists of an under-ground power house and tunnels such as the headrace, pressure, and tailrace tunnels. The Chungsong pumped-storage power station is the sixth one In the pumped-storage power station in Korea. Both the regional self-government and the population of chungsong -Goon had made a great effort to draw this power station construction into this area. The proposed Chungsong pumped-power station construction project was accepted by the central government as a part of the national electricity plan for the first time in Korea.

22KV 음성계통 횡류방지에 관한 연구

  • 22KV 음성계통 부하는 괴산발전소에서 발전기 출력 2600KW(1300KW gen2대)로 공급되고 그 잉여전력이 음성 s/s 주변압기를 통하여 66KV 계통에 공급되는 경우와 발전기 출력 감소(양수기 및 운휴시)는 66KV측에서 공급받는 경우가 있다. 전자의 경우 22KV 계통에 횡류(cross current)가 흘러서 전력손실이 많아지므로 이를 개선하고저 음성 및 증평변압소에 전력용 condenser설치를 하였고 또 주변압기 tap조정으로 다소 방지했으나 아직도 계통에 횡류가 흐르고 있으므로 이를 측정하고 그 대책을 강구코저 한다.

  • In order to develop an appropriate set of criteria applicable for environmental impact assessment (EIA) of natural forest 8 items are proposed. The criteria are vegetation distribution area (DA), distribution pattern (DP), size (S), diameter of breast height of tree (DBH), humus (H), sustainment (ST), successional stage (SS) and impact of adjacent ecosystem (IAE), Each criterion has an interval which minimum 1 score to maximum 5 score Forest Evaluation Index (FEI) was obtained as the sum of 8 criteria value. Above 70% is considered to be absolutely conservative and from 50% to 70% range of total score is to be considered conservative. In the case of the Sancho˘ng Pumping-up Power Plant of Mt. Chiri, 8 criteria were applied base on actual vegetation map. Pinus densiflora community got 73%(29 scores) and Quercus variabilis - Q. serrata community got 60%(24 scores). This may be said that this local vegetation has high ecological potentiality. These criteria cannot always be absolutely evaluation tool. So it is expected to take the more time to be developed further, and holistically added by the other field such as fauna, geological feature etc.

  • The large synchronous motor for the pumped-storage plant(or SFC : Static Frequency Converter) has to be brought up to 100$\%$ rated speed and synchronized with the AC power network. Starting the motor from rest is achieved by switching current into the stator winding so that interaction between this stator current and the rotor flux will cause the correct direction of torque to be developed so that the motor turns in the required direction. Starting ranges of the synchronous motor are divided into three regions. The first region Is at standstill, the second that is called by the forced commutation is from standstill to 5-8$\%$ of rated speed, and the third, which is called by the natural commutation, is from 5-8$\%$ of rated speed to 100$\%$ rated speed. So this paper describes three regions of the control techniques of the pumped-storage synchronous motor drive.

  • The temperature of vertical pump bearing metal in the pumped storage power plant has been high enough to shutdown the unit. Attempts such as decreasing the oil supply temperature, increasing the bearing oil gap etc. were performed to resolve the problem, but the issue was not resolved. Finally, the high bearing metal temperature was corrected by adjusting the bearing preload. The preload is formed by the oil wedge between the journal surface and bearing pad surface and the degree of preload is determined by the machined radial clearance, assembled radial clearance, rotor journal diameter etc. This paper focuses on the analysis of the preload depending on the bearing parameters and the result of the modification of the bearing following the analysis. The bearing metal temperature dropped as much as $20^{\circ}C$ which was similar as expected by software calculation. But the shaft vibration could increase when the assembled radial clearance is excessive. So, the adjustment of the bearing preload for the tilting pad type journal bearing should be carefully performed.

두만강지역개발계획(RADP)에 관련된 동북아시아 지역 전력계통의 연계 및 안전성 강화방안

  • 북한은 전력부족난과 전기품질의 저하로 인하여 주요 생산기업에 지장을 주고 있으며, 노후 발전소의 성능저하도 함께 진행되고 있는 것으로 추정된다. 이에 대한 적절한 대책이 없는 한 그 상황은 더욱 악화될 전망이다. 한반도 에너지 개발기구(KEDO)가 추진하고 있는 경수로 원자력 발전기가 6~7년 후에 준공된다고 해도 이처럼 불안정한 전력계통에 병입되어 원활한 운전이 가능할런지 기대하기 곤란하다. 이러한 실정에서 \circled1 전력부족으로 주파수가 저하될 때 우선 순위가 낮은 부하를 제한하는 자동 부하제한 방식을 포함한 자동 주파수 제어 계통개선 \circled2 기존발전소 성능과 이용을 향상을 위한 재가동(Repowering) 등의 리 엔지니어링 \circled3 가스터빈 복합화력과 열병합발전(Co-generation) 등과 같이 건설기간이 짧고 비용이 적게 들며 송전 설비 건설도 불필요한 분산형 전원의 건설 \circled4 수력발전소와 조력발전소의 건설 \circled5 양수발전 등 전력에너지 저장설비의 개발 \circled6 송전전압격상과 배전방식개선 및 종합전력정보시스템 구축 \circled7 남ㆍ북한 전력계통 내지는 동북아시아 전력계통을 연계하는 평화망사업(Peace Network Project)등의 추진이 경수로 사업에 선행되어야 한다. 특히 러시아, 중국, 한국, 일본의 발전 에너지원 분포와 년간 부하곡선을 고려할 때 동북아시아 전력계통의 연계는 관련국 상호간에 에너지 환경과 경제적 측면에서 상당한 이득과 안정성을 강화해 줄 것이며, 기술발전과 평화공존에 크게 기여 할 것이다. 이를 위하여 관련국의 전력계통연계 전문가들이 참여하는 남\ulcorner북한전력 계통연계연합회(Co-Pia ; Co-rea Power Systems Interconnection Association)와 동북아지역전력 계통연합회(Near Pia=North-Eastern Asia Region Power Systems Interconnection Association)의 구성을 제안하는 바이다. 주요용어(Key Words): 자동주파수 제어(AFC), 리엔지니어링(Re-Engineering), 분산형 전원(Dispersed Generation System), 전력저장(Power Storage), 부하조절기(Load Conditioner), 수요관리(DSM) 연계(Interconnection), 인터시스템(Intersystem), 통합자원계획(IRP), 안전성 강화(Security Enhancement), 전력시장개방(Electricity Free Maket), 통일비용(Unification Expense, Unification Cost), 남ㆍ북한전력계통연계연합회(Co-Pia), 동북아지역전력 계통연계연합회(Nea,-Pia).

  • The national capacity of electricity of Korea was 81,737 MW and the peak demand was renewed by the record of 71,230 MW in 2012 which has been increasing since the first lighting ceremony had taken place in the Royal Palace(Kyung-Bok Goong) in 1887. Aa the counteract on the rapid increasing of the demand, Korean government is constructing and operating the high capacity nuclear and thermal power plants, however, the operating reserve on weekdays is small while those of weekends are more than 40% of capacity, so they are providing the pumped-storage power plants with the surplus electricity during weekends and operating the power plants which cost higher production price and located in the capital area with WSS (Weekly Start and Stop) mode including the Seoul Thermal Power Plant. Since the Seoul Thermal Power Plant is spending huge amount of expenses for more than 30 times of the WSS annually due to the high production cost even though it is in Seoul, the core of the demand, I chose the power plant unit #5 which was on the grid in 1969 for the case to confirm reducing 23% of the warm start-up time by applying the "Start-up time management program", and that reducing 35% of the water temperature increasing time by accelerate the increasing rate of the inlet temperature of the water circulating pump.
