In this paper, we compare two access control mechanisms for D2D(Device-to-Device) systems in 5G wireless networks and propose an effective access control for 5G D2D networks. Currently, there is no specified access control for 5G D2D networks but there can be two access control approaches for 5G D2D networks. One is the UE-to-Network Relay based access control and the other is the Remote UE(User Equipment) based access control. The former is a UE-to-Network Relay carries out the access control check for 5G D2D networks but the latter is a Remote UE performs the access control check for 5G D2D networks. Through simulation and evaluation, we finally propose the Remote UE based access control for D2D systems in 5G wireless networks. The proposed approach minimizes signalling overhead between the UE-to-Network Relay and the Remote UE and more efficiently performs the access control check, when the access control functionalities are different from the UE-to-Network Relay in 5G D2D networks.

본 논문은 네트워크에서 불법적 사용자에 의한 정보의 보호를 위해, 강제적 액세스제어 정책(MAC)과 임의적 액세스 제어 정책(DAC)에 기초하여 네트워크에서의 액세스 제어 정책을 수립하고 이를 UNIX하에서 액세스 제어 리스트(ACL)와 보안 레이블에 기초하여 수행될 수 있도록 설계하고 구현하였다.

전자우편 (E-Mail) 이나 메세지 처리 시스템 (MHS: Message handling System)과 같은 축적 후 전송(Store-and-Forward) 방식의 네트워크 시스템에서 다중 등급의 기밀성을 갖는 메세지를 처리하고자 할 때 중요한 메세지의 내용이 누출되거나 또는 허가되지 않은 자가 메세지를 액세스할 수 있는 안전성 문제의 해결이 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 다중 등급 메세지의 보호를 위하여 요구되는 네트워크 보안 정책을 임의적 액세스 제어, 보안 레이블, 레이블 무결성, 강제적 엑세스제어, 그리고 최소 권한 정책 측면에서 제시하였다. 정의한 보안 정책을 만족하는 보안 특성 함수와 보안 오퍼레이션을 기반으로 하여 안전한 MHS을 위한 네트워크 액세스 제어 메카니즘과 그 구조를 설계하였다. 제안한 액세스 제어 메카니즘은 네트워크상에서 중요한 메세지의 불법적인 액세스 또는 불안전한 (Insecure) 정보 흐름의 보호문제를 해결한다.

본 고에서는 DAVIC 에서 권고 중인 VOD (video-on-demand) 시스템에 대한 액세스 제어 기법을 분석하고, 이를 바탕으로 국내 VOD 시스템에 적용 가능한 액세스 제어 기법을 제시한다. 이를 위하여 DAVIC 의 VOD 시스템에서의 보안 기법을 분석하고, 보안 시스템을 위한 참조 모델과 요구되는 서비스 및 보안 메카니즘을 분석한 후, 국내 VOD 시스템에 적용 가능한 액세스 제어 시스템 실현 방안과 정보보호 메카니즘을 제시한다. 그리고 방송용 서비스에 적용 가능한 ECM 채널을 DES, MD5, 그리고 RSA 알고리즘을 이용하여 C 언어로 구현하고 관련 동작을 시뮬레이션한다. 시뮬레이션 결과 ECM 채널이 정상 동작됨을 확인한다. 제시된 방안은 국내 VOD 시스템 실현시 유용하게 활용될 수 있다.

In this paper, a home network access agent, which controls and monitors networked appliances at home using various terminals regardless of user's location, is designed and implemented. The proposed access agent integrates wire and wireless network on a home gateway (or home server) and is accessed with consistent messages using various terminals such as a web terminal, a PDA and a cellular phone. Also, in order to verify the operation and availability of the agent, a user interface for the various terminals is designed and a home network testbed which is accessed and controlled by the terminals is implemented.

본 논문에서는 광대역 CDMA망에서 음성, 비디오, 데이터와 같은 멀티미디어 서비스를 제공하기 위해서 다양한 서비스 특성에 적합한 액세스 제어 방법을 제안한다. 즉 서비스별로 다른 Eb/No 값을 이용함으로써 서비스의 BER을 조절하고 음성과 비디오의 전송률이 시간에 따라 변하는 특성을 이용하여 데이터의 전송률을 제어하는 방법을 제안하였다. 또한 각 방법에 대한 시뮬레이션과 분석을 수행하였다. 성능 분석결과 제안된 액세스 방법을 사용할 경우 데이터에 대한 지연을 통해 전체적인 outage 발생확률을 감소시킴을 알 수 있었다.

홈 네트워크에서 인터넷 정보가전을 제어하고 관리하는 미들웨어는 홈 네트워크 내에서만 액세스가 가능하고 외부에서 접근하기가 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 홈 네트워크 내에서는 UPnP 미들웨어를 사용하고 광역 액세스망에서는 SIP를 이용하여 접근하는 방식을 제안한다. 즉, 홈 게이트웨이에 SIP와 UPnP를 연결시켜주는 가교역할의 브리지(bridge)를 설계하여 인터넷이나 PSTN과 같은 광역 액세스망에서 댁내 정보가전을 제어하고 관리하는 방법을 제안한다.

In this paper, we design the radio interface protocols of wideband Wireless Local Loop(WLL) that uses wideband Code Division Multiple Access(CDMA), and propose the random access procedures on access channel and analyze the performance of the channel. The structure of radio interface protocols are designed by three modular parts to meet the requirements of IMT-2000 : radio resource controlling part that depends on the radio resources, connection controlling part that is independent of the radio resources, and application part that supports the interface between different parts and user terminals. In addition, we propose the random access procedures on access channel and analyze the performance of the channel. We assume that both near-far effect and shadow fading can be compensated by open loop power control. We observe that the number of access probes(delay) depend on the initial mobile transmission power and power increment, and the poor estimation of initial mobile transmission power might increase the average number of access probes.

In today's business landscape, collaboration and interoperability are crucial for organizational success and profitability. However, integrating operations across multiple organizations is challenging due to differing roles and policies in Identity and Access Management (IAM). User-centric identity (UCI) adopts a personalized approach to digital identity management, centering on the end-user for authentication and access control. It provides a decentralized system that ensures secure and customized access for each user. UCI aims to address complex security challenges by aligning access privileges with individual user requirements. This research delves into UCI's ability to streamline resource access amidst conflicting IAM roles and protocols across various organizations. The study presents a UCI-based multi-domain access control (MDAC) framework, which encompasses an ontology, a unified method for articulating access roles and policies across domains, and software services melding with UCI infrastructure. The goal is to enhance organizational resource management and decision-making by offering clear guidelines on access roles and policy management across diverse domains, ultimately boosting companies' return on investment.

댁내의 정보가전을 댁외에서 동일한 환경으로 제어하고 관리하고자 할 때 홈 네트워크 미들웨어로 접근이 용이하지 않다. 본 논문에서는 외부에서 홈 네트워크를 제어하기 위해 개방형 프로토콜인 SIP와 UPnP를 이용하며 접근하는 방식을 제안한다. 즉, 홈 네트워크 내에서는 UPnP 미들웨어를 사용하고 댁외 광역 액세스 망에서는 SIP를 이용한다. 이를 위해 SIP와 UPnP를 연결 시켜주는 가교 역할의 브리지를 설계하여 홈 게이트웨이에 설치하여 댁외에서도 댁내의 정보가전을 제어 관리하는 방식을 제안한다.
