This paper presents a method to retarget a source motion to the rig-space parameter for a target character that can be equipped with a complex rig structure as used in traditional animation pipelines. Our solution allows the animators to edit the retargeted motion easily and intuitively as they can work with the same rig parameters that have been used for keyframe animation. To acheive this, we analyze the correspondence between the source motion space and the target rig-space, followed by performing non-linear optimization for the motion retargeting to target rig-space. We observed the general workflow practiced by animators and apply this process to the optimization step.

Medical treatments as universal care have been turning into delivering medical technology. Coping with death, which is prevalent in all medical circumstances, without comprehensive understanding results in missing out on significant aspects between life and death. This makes doctors surrender easily to a conventional and binary division of life and death and reduces the chance of including death as a part of the medical realm. Furthermore, in terms of medical education, we need to have the opportunity to consider such subjects that can benefit from special planning and consideration. Through reviewing articles in a variety of disciplines such as medicine, philosophy, psychology, literature, and anthropology, we can better understand death, condolences, and the relevance between them in a contextual way. In order to seek a better approach, this study also aims to survey and review the recent state of death education in diverse fields of medicine in Korea. In conclusion, if it is complicated for us to explain or understand death in general, focusing on condolences as a human response to death could be one meaningful way that deserves contemplation. It is possible to regard condolences as a touchstone and a prerequisite in death education itself.

측두하악장애환자와 정상대조군의 두경부 근육에 있어서 실제 또는 위약 치료에 따른 저출력 레이저의 효과와 측두하악장애환자에서 저출력 레이저의 효과적인 치료기간을 평가하기 위하여, 측두하악장애를 가진 부산대학교 치과대학생 19명과 측두하악장애의 병력이나 증상이 없는 부산대학교 치과대학생 20명을 대상으로 치료전, 치료 2주 및 치료 4주에 구외촉진이 가능한 32 근골격 촉진점의 압력통각역치와 각각의 동통정도와 두개하악지수를 측정하여 다음과 갈은 결론을 얻었다, 1. 치료전 환자군의 압력통각역치는 정상대조군 압력통각역치보다 낮았다(p<0.05), 2. 환자군의 압력통각역치는 유의하게 증가하였으며 (p<0.05) 레이저 조사 환자군의 증가된 압력통각역치는 레이저 모의조사-환자군의 증가된 압력통각역치보다 더 크게 나타났다. 3. 대조군에서는 레이저 조사나 모의 조사에 의해 압력통각역치와 변화가 없었다. 4. 레이저 조사-환자군의 압력통각역치가 안면근육에서는 치료2주부터 유의하게 증가하였고 경부근육에서는 치료4주부터 유의하게 증가하였다(p<0.05) 5. 레이저 조사-환자군에서 동통의 정도와 두개하악지수는 유의하게 감소하였다(p<0.05).

South Korean films narrate exquisitely, express emotions implicitly and employ magnificent images, exemplifying unique oriental aesthetics. This paper takes Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds (2017) as an example to analyze the meaning of oriental aesthetics in South Korean films using the Film Narrative Theory. It is a fantasy blockbuster depicting family kinship stories. It structures with the familiar karma and reincarnation of Asian Buddhism with the core of family kinship. Perfectly interpreting the fantasy world of hell with stunning movie effects, it shows the family kinship of families under the main plot line of a horror film.

The early eighteenth century witnessed the birth of homosexuality as an identity and the emergence of a homosexual subculture in Britain. The homosexual subculture revealed itself through identified walkways and parks, gestures by which men might signal their interests to each other, and meeting places called "molly houses" where homosexuals could gather in relative safety. As early as 1703 the homosexuals seem to have overrun London. Homosexuals in eighteenth-century Britain provides a figure on which a variety of social anxieties could be displaced. Homosexuality is partly sexual transgression; mostly, it represents a variety of class, national, political transgressions. The association of British homosexuality with the fashion for Italian tastes was commonplace, and the growth of homosexuality was regarded as the greatest threat to the glorious Britain by destroying all its masculine virtues. Homosexuality was widely believed to be particularly common among the aristocracy and to be symptomatic of the increasing depravity of that class. The radicals in eighteenth-century Britain did not hesitate to exploit the surge in homophobia. They identified aristocratic patronage as one of the aristocratic practices that encouraged homosexuality and thus stigmatized the sort of male bonding that helped sustain aristocratic hegemony.

In this paper, we utilize time-series aircraft location data measured based on 2019 domestic airports to analyze Go-Around and UOC_D situations during the approach phase of domestic airports. Various clustering-based machine learning techniques are applied to determine the most appropriate analysis method for domestic aviation data through experimentation. The ADS-B sensor is solely employed to measure aircraft positions. We designed a model using clustering algorithms such as K-Means, GMM, and DBSCAN to classify abnormal situations. Among them, the RF model showed the best performance overseas, but through experiments, it was confirmed that the GMM showed the highest classification performance for domestic aviation data by reflecting the aspects specialized in domestic terrain.

With the increasingly diverse, sophisticated and complex character animations that can be represented in 3D animations, the importance of rigging, which can most directly affect animating quality, is becoming more and more important. In addition, rapidity is another crucial aspect of 3D animation production. So, the importance of technical director's role which is accurate and rapid handling of rigging pipeline building and immediate application and, corrections of errors during the longest and manpower consuming animation production is more becoming key. Baek Ji Won and Kim Jae-woong (2014) said, "The technical director is adding new importance to the new job, which is created by 3D animation, in conjunction with the limited production period, manpower, budget and production process." Most major overseas studios are developing in-house software to handle rigging and animation processes. Software development code is used to freely develop and modify production pipelines in accordance with the direction of the work. They are making efforts to build an optimal environment for animators. However, too many efforts and ineffective efforts have been made to develop, adapt, and stabilize the rigging process for small producers, creators, and students who do not have the capacity to develop their own in-house software or hire a technical director. This study suggests the most suitable auto-rigging tool among the many auto-rigging tools released in the market, and suggests the most accurate and quick auto-rigging process setting method for those who have insufficient knowledge about 3D character rigging. The efficiency of use of auto-rigging tool was examined.

This article examines the sexualization of place under conditions of the compressed modernization and reflexive cosmopolitanism. In particular, I adopt Michel de Certeau's spatial didactic model of strategy and tactic to investigate the dynamics at play in the gay labelling of a Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (Coffee Bean) in South Korea, and explore the 'gaying' that takes place within preconceived heteronormative space. Using interview data, I additionally explore the negotiation tactics and coping mechanisms at work when gays compete with heterosexuals for non-gay place. The results illustrate how gays gay in heteronormative space and how heteronormative space harmoniously embodies gay men. The findings suggest that spatial location and tactic play important roles in stimulating compromise of sexual territory. Gay Bean benefits from being nestled between locations with histories of tolerance, while it also prospers from reflexive cosmopolitan ideals of diversity and acceptance of others. Gay identity and gaying is interpreted as foreign in Korea, which buttresses gay performativity in spaces welcoming of foreigners and so-called "deviance." However, how gaying functions within place relies not only on spatial histories of tolerance outside, but also on the tactics of identity negotiation within. The findings suggest that spatial and tactical conditions induce gay individuals to police other gay-identified individuals when gays gay in so-called heteronormative places.

This study was conducted to investigate the life cycle of Tipula latemarginata Alexander in Korea. The field surveys for the life cycle of the species were carried out at the two sites of Neaseong Stream area in Bongwha County from January 2001 to December 2002. Also many individuals of the species were reared in laboratory to investigate the life cycle. T latemarginata appeared to have three generations a year under the rearing conditions at room temperature. All the processes of life cycle of the species, when reared at room temperature from September 2001 to March 2002, were as follows: Eggs usually hatched between 4 and 10 days after oviposition. First instar larvae grew rapidly and molted to the second instar in 7-9 days. Second instar larvae spent 5-7 days for next molting and third instar period lasted approximately 8-12 days. Fourth instar larvae spent 6 weeks to 5 months for pupation. Especially the duration of fourth instar larval existence was greatly lengthened and served as the overwintering stage. The duration of pupal stage was 6-10 days. In the field, T. latemarginata also appeared to have three generations a year at the favorable habitats.

Small brown planthopper (SBPH), Laodelphax striatellus, gives a lot of damage to the rice by insect vector of rice stripe virus (RSV). This study compared the RSV acquisition and infection rates according to wing form, sex, and life stage of SBPH. The RSV acquisition rate in macropterous and brachypterous was 60.7% and 63.1%, respectively. The RSV acquisition rate by sex was 61.9% in female and 52.2% in male. However, there was no difference in significance. The RSV acquisition rate of nymphs and adults was 51.2% and 58.7%, respectively. The RSV infection rate by wing form was 53.3.% in macropterous and 48.2% in brachypterous. According to life stage, nymphs was 38.2% and adults was 42.6%. There was no difference in significance. On the other hand, female and male of RSV infection rate was 50.5% and 22.3%, respectively. There was a significant difference. Additionally, developmental periods of SBPH by RSV infection, the longest when inoculated with RSV-infected SBPH in healthy rice, while the shortest when inoculated healthy SBPH in healthy rice.
