A Experimental Analysis on the Relationship between the Angle of a Locker and the Clamping Force of Wedge Type Rail Clamp (Locker의 물림각과 쐐기형 레일클램프의 압착력에 관한 실험적 고찰)

  • The wedge type rail clamp has the operating mechanism: First, the jaw pad clamps a rail with small clamping force Next as the wind speed increases, the clamping force of the jaw pad is increased by the wedge. In order to design the wedge type rail clamp, we need to determine the proper wedge angle to minimize the sliding distance of a roller and the proper clamping angle of a locker to generate the initial clamping force of a jaw pad. The researches for the proper wedge angle have conducted, and in this study we conducted the investigation to determine the proper clamping angle of a locker in the rail clamp with wedge angle of $10^{\circ}$. Because the initial damping force of the jaw pad was determined by the clamping angle of the locker, in order to carry out the clamping force of a jaw pad, we measured the locking force applied to a locker with respect to the clamping angle of a locker, such as $3^{\circ},\;4^{\circ},\;5^{\circ},\;6^{\circ},\;$ using a pressure gauge, and compared the results with the FEA results.

  • The damping force of a jaw pad is determined by the displacements of main part when two lockers are locked, after the damping angle of a locker was set up in the wedge type rail damp for a container crane. In this time, of the resistance of wedge frame generates due to several factors, the damping angle of a locker to display the initial clamping force will be changed because of the reduction of displacement of extension bar. This resistance is determined by the eccentric distance between the roller and the wedge, and by the gap between the wedge frame and outer frame. In this study we measured the tensile force of both extension bar through the performance test of the prototype rail damp in order to evaluate the effect of the resistance of wedge frame on the damping force of the wedge type rail clamp.

At this time in order to display the wedge working, the rail clamp slips along a rail. If the supporter is not installed in the rail clamp when the wind speed increases more and more, the structure will occur overload which leads the structure to fracture. So the supporter has to be installed in the rail clamp. The proper position of this supporter is determined by the initial clamping force and the wege angle. Therefore in this study we adopted 5-kinds of wedge angle as the design parameters, and carried out the finite element analysis, in order to analyze the relationship between the initial clamping force and the proper position of supporter in the wedge type rail clamp.

  • Shaking beam을 이용한 초음파 선형모터는 모터 구동부에서 발생하는 타원궤적이 선형 slider 와 마찰이 되어 선형운동을 발생시킨다. 이러한 초음파 선형모터에서 설계변수는 모터의 효율과 추력(thrust force) 등 동특성을 결정한다. 특히 초음파 모터 동작부의 tip 과 선형 slider 의 contact point와 압착은 모터의 속도, 추력 동작 주파수, 효율에 직접적인 영향을 주는 중요한 parameter 로 작용된다. 본 연구에서는 모터와 선형 slider 의 압착과 contact point둥의 설계변수가 초음파 선형 모터의 성능에 주는 영향을 고찰하였다. 모터으구동부와 선형 slider 사이의 압착력 ($10N{\sim}50N$)과 4가지 곡률을 갖는 tip을 설계변수로 취하였다. Tip 의 형태에 따른 곡률과 모터 구동부와 선형 slider 사이의 압착력 변화에 따른 모터의 동작특성이 변화되는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • Supercritical carbon dioxide (SCO2) extraction was applied for the defatting of mealworm to prepare defatted powder (DP) and protein isolate (PI) and compare the process to press and hexane extraction, with respect to DP and PI physicochemical properties. SCO2 DP was obtained by extracting 34.40% oil at 41.37 MPa, 40℃ for 180 min, and the product contained 71.66% crude protein, which is similar to that of hexane DP and higher than that of press DP. In using alkali protein extraction to prepare PI from DP, SCO2 was as effective as hexane and better than press. SCO2 produced brighter DP and PI than press, but not as much as hexane. Protein solubility was similar in all DP, with minimum values at pH 5. The highest water adsorption capacity was noticeable for SCO2 PI, and SCO2 DP showed an oil adsorption capacity comparable to that of hexane DP. SCO2 DP and PI had better foaming capacity than press DP and PI and showed superior emulsion activity compared to others.

  • The objective of this study was to investigate the physicochemical properties of Yukwa bases with different quantities of Soju during long-term storage. We examined Yukwa bases with 5 different quantities (0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%) (v/w) of Soju after intervals of 10 days up to 50 days at $30{\pm}1^{\circ}C$. The L and a values of all Yukwa bases decreased as storage time increased. The b value of Yukwa bases with 0% Soju increased as storage time increased, but Yukwa bases with 25~100% Soju decreased. The compression and shared force decreased as storage time increased for all subjects, but those with bases of 50% and 75% Soju changed less during storage. The acid values of all Yukwa bases increased significantly during storage. In addition, the peroxide values of all Yukwa bases significantly increased during storage time. Yukwa bases with 0% Soju showed great change of the peroxide value during long-term storage. The peroxide values of all Yukwa bases changed less as the quantity of Soju increased.

  • In this study we dealt with the relationship between the initial clamping force and the sliding distance in the wedge type rail clamp. The sliding distance is determined by the wedge angle and the initial clamping force. In order to derive the relation formula between the wedge angle and the sliding distance, we ad opt 5-kinds of the wedge angle, such as 2, 4, 6, 8, $10^{\circ}$. And then we analyze the effect of the initial clamping force on the sliding distance.

  • Objective and subjective methods were performed together for TPA analysis of acorn mook, and their correlations were analyzed. As the result of sensory evaluation, hardness and fracturability were most important factors for prediction of preference. Meanwhile, compression test with Instron Universal Testing Machine revealed that P1(maximum peak in first bite) was very effective factor representing the cheracteristics of first bite, and that P2 the latter peak in first bite) was valuable for prediction of characteristics of second bite.
