원자력 발전소 1차계통 배관 건전성 평가 (The Verification Test for the Primary Piping System of Nuclear Power Plant)

  • 원자력 발전소의 안전성 보장 및 신뢰성 향상을 위하여 시운전 단계에서 원자력 발전소내 안전등급에 해당하는 배관계통의 상태 확인을 위하여 각종시험을 하도록 되어있다. 특히 새로운 설계기념, 크기 또는 용량을 갖는 원자로 모델에 대해서는 필수적으로 건전성 평가를 하게 되었다. 이를 위해 발전소 건설기간에 시행하는 고온 기능시험 중에 원자로 주변 주요 시스템인 원자로 냉각재 루프 계통에 대한 건전성 확인을 위해 압전형 고온 가속도 센서를 이용하여 정상운전상태의 진동을 측정하여 시스템 진동거동을 규명하였다. 배관시스템의 일상운전상태는 유체의 흐름과 기기운전이 일정한 정상상태와 펌프의 기동 또는 정지 및 밸브의 급격한 개폐등으로 발생하는 과도상태로 나눌 수 있다. 따라서 두 가지 상태의 진동을 측정해야 한다. 배관계통은 정상운전 상태로 설계수명을 유지할 수 있어야 하므로 정상진도잉 최소화 되어야 한다. 진동 평가기준은 배관재질의 응력(S/N 커브) 곡선을 참조하여 설계수명내에 손상이 일어나지 않도록 재료의 허용응력을 산정하고 이를 진동변위로 환산하여 정한 것이며 이 값에 측정 데이타를 비교하여 1차계통 배관의 건전성을 확인하였다.

  • Pb(Zr,Ti)$O_{3}$Pb($Mn_{1/3}$$Nb_{2/3}$)$O_{3}$ powder was successfully synthesised by high-energy milling method, and the behavior of low­temperature sintering and piezoelectrical properties of Pb(Zr,Ti)$O_{3}$-Pb($Mn_{1/3}$$Nb_{2/3}$)$O_{3}$ ceramics were investigated as a function of mechanical alloying time. In order to confirm whether the Perovskite phase in this composition was formed by mechanical activation technique or not, we performed X-Ray Diffraction pattern analysis (XRD). The microstructure for the sintered samples were characterized using a Scanning Electronic Microscope (SEM). And the piezoelectrical properties ($k_{p}$ and $Q_{m}$) of the sintered samples was measured using HP 4194A impedance analyzer.

  • We consider the system is subject to the linearly polarized oscillatory external field. We study the optical quantum transition Line shapes(QTLS) which show the absorption power and the quantum transition line widths(QTLW) of electron-piezoelectric phonon interacting system. We analyze the magnetic field dependence of the QTLS and the QTLW in various cases. In order to analysis the quantum transition, we compare the magnetic field dependence of the QTLW and the QTLS of two transition process, the intra-Landau level transition process and the inter-Landau level transition process.

  • This work presents an active vibration control of a stiffened hull structure using a flexible macro fiber composite (MFC) actuator. As first step, the governing equation of the hull structure is derived in a matrix form and its dynamic characteristics such as natural frequency are obtained via a finite element analysis (FEA). The natural frequencies obtained from the FEA are compared with those determined from experimental measurement. After formulating the control model in a state space representation, an optimal controller is designed in order to attenuate the vibration of the stiffened hull structure. The controller is then empirically realized through dSPACE and control responses are evaluated in time domain.

  • A numerical computation and experimental test have been performed for the investigation of dynamic behavior of composite beams with bonded piezo ceramics. The present finite element method based on layerwise approach can effectively evaluate the characteristics of the composite beams with bonded piezo ceramics. The natural frequencies and damping values were measured by fitting the frequency response function obtained from FFT analyzer. The frequency-dependent damping properties of composite material were measured to utilize them for the finite element analysis of the composite beams with bonded piezo ceramics. The experimental results are in good agreement with those of finite element analysis.

  • This paper deals with a fully coupled piezoelectric-mechanical assumed strain solid element that can be used for geometric and material nonlinear modeling of thin piezoelectric actuators. Since the assumed strain solid element can alleviate locking, the element is suitable for performance analysis of very thin actuators without locking. A finite element code is developed based on the finite element formulation and validated by solving typical numerical examples such as bimorph and unimorph beams. Using thecode, we have conducted performance analysis for LIPCA actuator. The estimated actuation displacement of LIPCA agrees well with experimental data under low prescribed voltage.

  • Friction material in a piezoelectric system is a important part to affect to moving performance. In this paper, alumina ceramics $(AlO_2)$, silicon carbide (SiC), high speed steel and super-hard alloy (WC, Tungsten Carbide) having a hardness knoop of 1000 to 2000 $kg/mm^2$ were tested as a friction material of AF module. Even though $AlO_2$, SiC and high speed steel were a high-hardness material, $AlO_2$ and SiC were worn by a rough surface, and SiC is rusted in humidity condition. AF module using super-hard alloy has showed a stable moving performance in life time test.

  • This paper present a new sort of multilayer piezoelectric ceramic transformer for the application to AC-adapters. This piezoelectric transformers operate in the second and third length extensional vibration mode. And the output performance of two types of piezoelectric transformers are compared by ANSYS, which is one of the FEM analysis program. As a result the minimum displacement was occurred at the two points in second length extensional vibration mode and three point in third length extensional vibration mode. One is the middle of input and the other is middle of output parts. And output voltage was inversely decreased by increasing number of output layers. Also The third mode type is shown higher power transition ratio than the second mode type.

  • Aortic dissection is an uncommon, life-threatening medical emergency that is associated with a high mortality rate, and death from aortic dissection is mainly related to secondary complications, namely cardiac tamponade, severe aortic regurgitation, acute myocardial infarction, and abdominal organ vessel obstruction. Hence, prompt and accurate diagnosis followed by proper treatment is important for patient survival. Herein, we present a rare case of sudden death after aortic dissection with concomitant acute myocardial infarction and cardiac tamponade.
