Adaptive Algorithms for Yaw Moment Distribution with ESC and ARS (적응 알고리즘을 이용한 ESC와 ARS 기반 요 모멘트 분배)

  • This paper presents an application of adaptive algorithms for yaw moment distribution with electronic stability control (ESC) and active rear steering (ARS) in integrated chassis control (ICC). Integrated chassis control consists of upper- and lower-level controllers. In the upper-level controller, the control yaw moment is computed with sliding mode control required to stabilize a vehicle. In the lower-level controller, adaptive algorithms are applied to determine the required brake pressure of ESC and the necessary steering angle of ARS, in order to generate the control yaw moment. Simulation is performed using the vehicle simulation package CarSim to validate the proposed method.

  • An experimental study is performed to observe the characteristics of the thrust vectoring control (TVC) of the supersonic jet using proportional control valves. It is observed that three different TVC characteristics exist as the nozzle pressure ratio varies. Strong hysteresis phenomena are also observed during the valve control for a certain range of the nozzle pressure ratio. It is also noticed that the secondary chamber pressure is one of the influencing parameters for the TVC. Therefore, a control algorithm utilizing the secondary chamber pressure coefficient as a predictor is applied to achieve the stable TVC avoiding the hysteresis. Consequently, the stable TVC with the maximum deflection angle of about 20-degree has been realized using the proportional control valves.

  • PID(Proportional-Integral-Derivative)제어기는 제어악고리즘의 단순성과 실 현장에서의 강인성 등으로 산업용 보일러의 제어시스템서 주로 이용되어 왔다. 그러나 다중 루프를 가진 보일러 시스템에서는 루프간의 상호 간섭 영향 등으로 부하 변화에 따라 요구되는 증기(steam)압력, 증기 유량(steam flow)변화 등을 동시에 만족하도록 급수 유량, 연교 유량, 공기 유량 등을 PlH제어기만으로 제어하는 것은 어렵다. 본 연구에서는 보일러 시스템의 다목적 성능 최적화에 각각의 적합도 함수 $f_{a}$ , $f_{b}$, $f_{c}$를 정의하고 면역 알고리즘을 이용해 최적화를 구하고 그 결과에 대한 특성과 유효성을 검토하였다.다.다.

  • 본 연구에서는 공기스프링을 능동요소로 사용한 방진대를 1자유도 및 2자유도로 모델링하여 이론해석을 수행하였고, 이에 따른 컴퓨터시뮬레이션과 실험을 통하여 이론의 타당성을 검증하였다. 다음으로 공기스프링 방진대의 방진성능 향상을 위하여 비례제어밸브, 컴퓨터, 측정센서 등을 이용하여 공기 스프링내의 공기압력을 능동적으로 조절할 수 있는 제어계를 구성한 후, 최적제어 및 퍼지제어 알고리즘을 적용하여 상태귀환 제어를 실시하였다.

  • The control system of a direct drive servo valve is a nonlinear system, and the flow force effect on the spool motion is significant and dependent on the load pressure. To satisfy the control system design requirements, the optimal parameters of the lead-lag controller and the derivative feedback controller are searched for using a genetic algorithm and a complex constrained direct search type method. The obtained controller parameters successfully perform their role to satisfy the control system design requirements.

Development of the Filterable Water Sampler System for eDNA Filtering and Performance Evaluation of the System through eDNA Monitoring at Catchment Conduit Intake-Reservoir (eDNA 포집용 채수 필터시스템 개발과 집수매거 취수지 내에서의 성능평가)

  • A pump-type eDNA filtering system that can control voltage and hydraulic pressure respectively has been developed, and applied a filter case that can filter out without damaging the filter. The filtering performance of the developed system was evaluated by comparing the eDNA concentration with the conventional vacuum-pressured filtering method at the catchment conduit intake reservoir. The developed system was divided into a voltage control (manual pump system) method and a pressure control (automatic pump system) method, and the pressure was measured during filtering and the pressure change of each system was compared. The voltage control method started with 65 [KPa] at the beginning of the filtering, and as the filtering time elapsed, the amount of filtrate accumulated in the filter increased, so the pressure gradually increased. As a result of controlling the pressure control method to maintain a constant pressure according to the designed algorithm, there was a difference in the width of the hydraulic pressure fluctuation during the filtering process according to the feedback time of the hydraulic pressure sensor, and it was confirmed that the pressure was converged to the target pressure. The filtering performance of the developed system was confirmed by measuring the eDNA concentration and comparing the voltage control method and the hydraulic control method with the control group. The voltage control method obtained similar results to the control group, but the hydraulic control method showed lower results than the control group. It is considered that the low eDNA concentration in the hydraulic control method is due to the large pressure deviation during filtering and maintaining a constant pressure during the filtering process. Therefore, rather than maintaining a constant pressure during filtering, it was confirmed that a voltage control method in which the pressure is gradually increased as the filtrate increases with the lapse of filtering time is suitable for collecting eDNA. As a result of comparing the average concentration of eDNA in lentic zone and lotic zone as a control group, it was found to be 96.2 [ng µL-1] and 88.4 [ng µL-1l], respectively. The result of comparing the average concentration of eDNA by the pump method was also high in the lentic zone sample as 90.7 [ng µL-1] and 74.8 [ng µL-1] in the lentic zone and the lotic zone, respectively. The high eDNA concentration in the lentic zone is thought to be due to the influence of microorganisms including the remaining eDNA.

Control of Pressure and Thrust for a Variable Thrust Solid Propulsion System Using Linearization (선형화 기법을 이용한 가변추력 고체추진 기관의 압력 및 추력 제어)

  • Solid propulsion systems have simple structures compared to other propulsion systems and are suitable for long-term storage. However the systems generally have limits on control of thrust levels. In this paper we suggest control algorithms for combustion chamber pressure of variable thrust solid propulsion systems using special nozzles such as pintle valve. For the pressure control within the chamber, we use a simple pressure change model by considering only mass conservation within the combustion chamber, design a classical algorithm and also a nonlinear controller using the feedback linearization technique. Also we derive the equation of the thrust for an under-expanded one-dimensional nozzle and then design a proportional-intergral controller after linearizing the thrust model for an operating point. Finally, we demonstrate the performance of the controller through a numerical simulation.

  • 본 논문은 주거환경 변화 및 공기 중 부유물질로 인한 피해를 보호하기 위해 제정된 공기질 관리법안에 적합한 대기 환경 조건을 구현하기 위한 고정압 환풍기용 모터 및 제어 알고리즘에 관한 논문이다. 외기에 압력이 변화하는 외란에도 일정한 풍량을 낼 수 있도록 하기 위해서 속도와 전류의 두 물리량을 곱의 형태로 취하여 profile을 만들고 이에 추종하는 방식을 본 논문에서 제안하였다. 제품의 상용화를 위해서 풍량센서가 없는 센서리스 방식을 구현하기 위해서 전류 값을 토대로 압력 변화량을 일정하게 제어하는 방식을 취하였다. 고정압제어를 위해서 Open-loop상태에서 모터의 P-Q(압력-풍량)data를 측정하고 이를 기초로 예상 구동 영역을 유추하고 이를 토대로 Profile을 만들고 이 Profile을 추종하는 제어를 통해서 고정압제어를 실현하였다. Reference로 속도를 기준으로 하였으며, 동일 속도에서 전류의 값을 비교하여 제어하고자 하는 전류 값이 되도록 함으로써 정압을 실현하였다.

  • The old Timing Controller for Control Element Drive Mechanism (CEDM) is designed as an open loop control system because it is difficult to mount sensors within the Control Element Drive Mechanism(CEDM) which is operating under the pressure boundary of the reactor vessel. In this work new method which can be used to detect the CEDM operational conditions without mounting sensors within the CEDM housing is developed in order to resolve problems of the old Timing Controller. By using the developed new method, the new Timing Controller for the CEDM is designed as a closed loop controller which has features of the control rod drop prevention, fine position control and the coil life time extension. The algorithm developed under closed loop control concept resolves most problems occurred in the old Timing Controller and improves the performance and reliability of the system. During designing and testing of the Timing Controller algorithm, the real time CEDM simulator developed here was used. And all functions of the developed algorithm were verified using CEDM simulator with the real data collected from the site. The results show that the Timing Controller performs its intended functions properly.

  • The development of an accurate and energy saving pneumatic regulator that may be applied to a variety of practical pressure control applications is described in this paper. A novel modified pulse width modulation(MPWM) valve pulsing algorithm allows the pneumatic regulator to become energy saying system. A comparison between the system response of conventional PWM algorithm and that of the modified PWM(MPWM) algorithm shows that control performance is almost the same, but energy saving is greatly improved by adopting this new MPWM algorithm. The effectiveness of the proposed control algorithm are demonstrated through experiments with various reference trajectories.
