This study improves the design of electric pot and cup that can safely pour and drink hot beverages among daily necessities for the blind and the elderly. It looks at the electric pot and cup that people with visual impairments usually use through their use perspective and studies and improves the safety problems that arise when using them based on the principle of universal design. Through this prior study, we study designs that can be used and shared by all disabled and socially disadvantaged people together and improve the design of household goods to expand the scope of use of general products and create new social values. In addition, through this design improvement process, everyone pursues an equal and virtuous life together, forms a well-off inclusive society, and takes advantage of the current position of the disabled and value of life once again.

This study was performed to investigate the microbiological contamination on toothbrushes, toothbrush caps, and tooth cleaning cups in the child care centers and to evaluate the toxin genes, toxin production ability and antibiotic resistance of food-borne pathogens. The average number of total aerobic bacteria and fungi were 5.3 log CFU and 3.2 log CFU. Coliform bacteria were detected in 41 (54.7%) of 75 toothbrushes, 13 (44.8%) of 29 toothbrush caps, and 29 (44.6%) of 65 tooth cleaning cups. Salmonella spp. was not detected in all of samples but Bacillus cereus was isolated from 1 (1.3%) of 75 toothbrushes and 2 (3.1%) of 65 tooth cleaning cups. Staphylococcus aureus was detected in 1 (1.5%) of 65 tooth cleaning cups. The nheA, nheB, nheC, hblC, hblD, hblA and entFM toxin genes were possessed in B. cereus isolated from toothbrush which also produce NHE and HBL enterotoxins. S. aureus was resistant to ampicillin and penicillin, while B. cereus was resistant to ${\beta}-lactam$ antibiotics. These results indicated that the sanitary conditions of toothbrushes and tooth cleaning cups in the child care centers should be improved promptly. The UV sterilization after drying and then storage in dried condition is required to improve the sanitary condition of toothbrushes and tooth cleaning cups in the child care center.

월드컵 열기가 한창이던 6월 중순의 어느 날, 높은 습도와 뜨거운 열기로 잠깐의 움직임에도 이마에서는 땀이 흘러내린다 소나기라도 내려주었으면 하는 바람으로 뜨거운 아스팔트길을 달린다. 서해안 고속도로를 달려 다시 당진상주간고속도로, 천안논산간고속도로, 호남고속도로를 달려 도착한 전북 전주시 효자동에 위치한 대한방직 주식회사, 새로 들어선 도청과 네모반듯한 아파트 숲에 1975년에 지어진 공장의 모습은 사뭇 대조적이지만, 어딘가 모를 여유가 느껴지는 풍경을 자아낸다.

최근 들어 환경문제, 특히 대도시 대기오염으로 저공해자동차의 보급에 관심이 대두되고 있는 가운데 전세계적으로 많이 활용되고 있는 천연가스자동차(Natural Gas Vehicle)가 국내에서 높은 관심과 함께 서울을 비롯한 대도시를 중심으로 보급이 추진 되고 있다. 현재 정부는 심각한 대기오염을 줄이기 위해 월드컵이 열리는 2002년에는 5000대, 그리고 2007년까지는 서울, 부산 등 7대 도시에서 운행되고 있는 시내버스 2만 여대를 천연가스 연료로 전환할 계획을 세우고 있다. (중략)

올림픽이나 월드컵과 같은 대규모 국제행사가 개최되면 개최국의 근심거리 중 빠질 수 없는 것이 바로 테러예방이다. 지난 8월 8일 개막된 베이징 올림픽의 열기가 한층 고조되고 있는 가운데, 중국 역시 올림픽 개최에 앞서 테러방지를 위한 보안활동을 강화하고, 또 테러 발생에 대비한 훈련에 많은 노력을 할애하고 있는 것으로 알려져 있다. 하지만 테러는 총이나 폭탄과 같은 무기들로만 이뤄지는 것은 아니다. 오히려 사이버 공간에서 발생하는 침해사고는 우리가 일반적으로 생각하는 테러와는 전혀 다른 엄청난 피해를 안겨줄 수 있다. 요즘처럼 사회적 활동의 많은 부분을 IT에 의존하고 있는 상황에서는 더욱 그러하다. 이런 상황에서 아시아 주요 국가의 CERT가 베이징 올림픽 기간 중 발생할 수 있는 각종 사이버 침해사고에 대비한 공동의 노력을 펼치고 있다.

This work analyze the hitec-based arms systems which might raise the tentions by terrorism. Apparently they are largely dependent on the biochemicals, electronics, laser, and cybernetics. Also they draw an attention to us of a probability of various threats from the terrorists, or ill intending regimes to deter the 2002's World Cup, under the heading of 'New Centennial, Meeting, and Start Movement.' What follows is that this research strongly proposes that we should take prior safety actions for hosting the successful World Cup Match in Korea-Japan as well as maintain the national security for peace.
