  • 사고는 잠재적 사고원인에 대한 인식 부족이나 그 위험성을 등한히 함으로써 발생되는 것으로, 절대로 우발적으로 발생되지 않는다. 이 재해 발생 원인인 불안전한 상태 또는 행동은 사전에 발견할 수 있으며, 사고의 가능서은 제거가 가능하다. 그러므로, 전기로 인한 재해를 방지하기 위해서는 전기기기 설치시에는 관련규정에 적합하게 시설함은 물론 만약 기기 사고시에도 인체를 보호할 수 있는 각종 안전장치의 시설을 완비하는 것이 필요하며, 또한, 이와같은 기기가 정상적으로 작동될 수 있도록 평상시 안전점검을 철저히 하고 근로자의 불안전한 행동을 없애기 위하여 안전지식 및 안전의식 고취를 위한 안전교육 실시 등의 재해예방 활동에 만전을 기해야 할 것이다.

  • The present work has been developed the type of non-electric and delay explosive bolt which does not need power supply device and has the delay function in the operation of the explosive bolt. Separation device system could be minimized because of non-electric power supply system. In order to prove the mechanism of operation, the present work used to ignite the initiator the power of air resistance caused front aviation object. we can be founded from the present work that the changes in the operation load influence directly the ignition of the initiator. The design of non-electric and delay explosive bolt is the most suitable the separation system necessary to reduce the velocity of aviation object and safe landing of parachute system.

  • A ventilation-relief valve performs as a safety-valve assembly for the liquid-propellant feeding system of space launch vehicle. This valve plays a role of relieving the vaporized propellants from propellant tanks during the filling and storing stages of propellants. Also it regulates to maintain the pressure of ullage volume of on-board propellant tanks within the safety-margin during the flight. The simulation model of ventilation-relief valve is designed with AMESim to predict and evaluate the dynamic characteristics and pneumatic behaviors of valve. To validate a valve simulation model, the simulation results of the opening and closing pressures and their operating durations of valve by AMESim analysis are compared with the results of mathematical methods. In addition, the results of internal flow simulation with FLUENT are utilized to improve the accuracy of valve-modeling. This study will serve as one of reference guides to enhance the developmental efficiency of ventilation-relief valves with the various operating conditionss, which shall be used in Korea Space Launch Vehicle-II.

  • This paper contributes to the development of an early detection system to detect the alteration of a target ship during early stages using the steering wheel signal via AIS communication. The feasibility of this system is also verified with a real ship trial. It was confirmed that the rudder angle on ECDIS was ordinarily marked green or red by the used rudder angle after the steering wheel operation. We were able to detect intentions for a change in course by a target ship quickly and efficiently avoid collisions. This system will contribute to more active VTS services and the analysis of marine accidents using the General Information Center On Maritime Safety & Security (GICOMS).

  • Recently, evacuation safety of a resident of building become the major concern, because building has been higher and more complicated. Buildings in Korea should install the natural smoke venting or mechanical smoke exhaust equipment according to the building law. The smoke control is the most important to guarantee the evacuation safety. This study evaluate the influence to the height and temperature of smoke layer by enlarging smoke vent size and operating sprinkler system using CFAST (Version 6). Smoke venting size is larger, the effect to height and temperature of smoke layer is increased in below 5 MW fire. But, the correlation of these is decreased in above 10 MW fire. The case that opened smoke vent and sprinklered are applied, life safety criteria are satisfied regardless of fire size. After design the fire scenario according to the service and size of building. Install the smoke vent suitable for the fire size and verify that by experiment or simulation.

  • This study is intended to evaluate the characteristics of smoke spreading and the appropriateness of evacuation time extended by operation of smoke control system during fire within the underground space of the building structured in compliance with the smoke control system performance criteria from the local fire safety standard in Korea. As a preceding review of this study, the combustibles was categorized and identified their heat release rates. For validate the estimated values, modeling a single underground shop was carried out. And a numerical analysis both in case of smoke control system in operation and the system not in operation was carried out of underground space. From the viewpoint of securing the evacuation time, the results were compared in an attempt to assess the appropriateness of the fire safety criteria.
