Purpose: This study intends to suggest alternatives for improving the level of safety culture by measuring/analyzing safety culture targeting employees of national core-based highway operating organizations. Method: Using the 'Safety Awareness Level Diagnosis Tool' of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency, 16 sub-factor measurement tools reflecting 4 safety culture areas and 4 safety culture activities were evaluated for a total of 144 items. were surveyed/analyzed by online questionnaire. Result: As for the results by safety culture area, "safe operation" was the highest, and "safe communication" was the lowest. As for the results of each safety culture activity, "safe execution (D)", which evaluates whether the plan was implemented, was high. The lowest level of safety culture is "Safety Improvement (A)" Conclusion: When establishing a company's safety and health management measures, the most important aspect of management is the level of safety culture. The ultimate goal is to improve the level of safety culture. In this study, it was possible to confirm the safety culture level of the national core-based expressway operating institution. In the future, we intend to conduct a study on how safety culture affects business continuity management system (BCMS).

현재의 안전설비기준은 정량적 관점에서 정의되었고, 선박 재난 시나리오에 관한 대응수준을 평가할 방법이 없다. 선박, 특히 여객선 승객의 안전성을 향상시키기 위해서는 설계단계 혹은 증개축단계에서 성능기반의 피난안전설계에 의한 평가를 통해 문제점을 파악하고 개선안을 제실할 필요가 있다.

생활수준이 향상됨에 따라 에어컨은 이제 생활 필수품이 되었다. 단순히 온도를 조절하는 데서 나아가 최근에는 기류제어 공기청정 탈취 살균 제균 등 다양한 부가기능을 갖추고 있다. 이렇게 편리한 에어컨을 안전하게 사용하려면 적절한 설치 및 사용관리 방법을 잘 알아야 한다.

As the income level of a country gets improved, people's social, economic, and cultural expectation will grow at the same time. Although the income level of Korea has been remarkably improved, her work-related fatality rate is the highest among OECD countries. Moreover, the rate hasn't been reduced for more than 10 years. This study aims to provide appropriate measures for work-related fatality reduction by comparing the income levels and the work-related fatality rates of countries and by analysing the problems of our worker-oriented accident prevention policy. For the comparison of income level and work-related fatalities, this study suggests income-level incorporated fatality rate, and it turned out that the rate of Korea is the highest among the countries. In order to find out the causes of that result, this study has found that our law enforcement is much weaker than that of UK, which implicates more strict law enforcement policy is needed to improve our work-related safety.

최근 안전성 향상을 위한 업계의 개발노력과 일선 지도기관의 계도, 농업인의 안전사용 의식 향상 등이 어우러져 살포 중 중독사고가 현저히 줄어드는가 하면 우리 농산물 안전성 또한 지속적으로 향상되고 있다. 특히 우리농산물 안전성은 지난해까지 1.1%였던 부적합률이 올해 상반기에는 0.8%로 낮아져 더욱 안전한 수준인 것으로 나타났다. 그럼에도 이를 비웃기라도 하듯 최근 분제농약을 밀가루로 오인, 부침개를 만들어 팔아 발생한 식품안전사고는 일어탁수(一魚濁水)의 우려가 충분한 좋지 않은 사례가 될까 적잖이 걱정이다. 물론 이를 계기로 농촌진흥청과 업계는 제품자체에 검은색을 내는 색소와 고약한 냄새가 나는 악취제, 잘못해 먹었을때 즉시 토하도록 하는 구토제를 추가 사입, 밀가루와 확연히 구별토록 하고 취급제한기준을 강화하는 한편 그 이행여부를 철저히 점검키로 하는 등 지난 2003년에 이은 강도 높은 분제농약 개선방안을 마련함으로써 재발방지를 위한 발 빠른 움직임을 보이고 있다. 그러나 무엇보다 중요한 것은, 농약에 대한 각자의 안전의식이다. 농약은 의약품이 아니다. 올바른 사용 및 보관에 대한 평소 인식을 단단히 가져야 한다. 그래야만 안전을 담보할 수 있기 때문이다. 여기에서는 본격적인 농약사용 성수기를 맞아 농약 살포 전과 살포 중, 살포 후에 주의해야 할 사항을 만화를 통해 알아본다.

본 논문에서는 대학교의 재난안전관리 역량 증진의 필요성을 시사하고, 이를 위한 방법론을 제시하고자 하였다. 대학교는 다량의 화학물질 보유, 출입통제 제한적, 인적 물적 인프라 집중 등의 이유로 재난 및 안전사고 발생 확률이 높으며 동시에 발생 시 피해규모도 클 것이라 예측 가능하다. 하지만 아직까지 대학교 재난안전관리에 대하여 대학실험실안전관리에만 치중되어 있는 경향이 있다. 그러므로 대학교 재난안전관리 역량지표를 개발하고 역량수준을 진단하여 전반적인 대학교 재난안전관리 역량수준을 향상시킬 필요성이 있다. 본 논문에서는 대학교 재난안전관리 역량지표 개발을 위해 선행되어야 할 국내외 재난안전관리 역량분석을 실시하였다. 대학교 재난안전관리 현황분석을 통한 대학교 재난안전관리 업무목록을 바탕으로 국내외 재난안전관리 역량지표를 적용하여 대학교 재난안전관리 역량지표 개발이 가능할 것이다.
