스테인리스강 프로펠러축의 가공에 따른 재질특성에 관한 연구

  • 본 연구의 목적은 STS 304 프로펠러축의 육성가공 및 STS 630 프로펠러축의 열 가공에 따른 강도 및 내식성 등의 재질특성변화 등을 조사 분석하여 선박기관기준 제8조 제2항에서 규정하고 있는 ‘용접수리 불가’에 대한 근거자료 제시(동조동항의 단서조항에 대해서는 일반적으로 알려진 스테인리스강의 용접에 대한 적정방법 이외에 연구결과를 바탕으로 적정 기준을 제시할 수 있는지에 대한 부분도 동시에 검토 하고자 함)는 물론, 선박기관기준 제65조 제1호(총 톤수 20톤 이상의 경우는 제59조 제1항 적용)에서 규정하고 있는 석출경화계 스테인리스강의 제1종축으로써의 인정 여부에 대한 유효성을 제시하여 프로펠러축의 가공(육성․열)과정에 필요한 기본 방향을 제시하고자 함. 따라서 본 연구에서는 STS 304, STS 630 프로펠러축의 가공에 따른 결과를 바탕 으로 위에서 언급한 사항들에 대한 근거자료 확보 및 프로펠러축의 가공에 따른 방향을 제시하기 위한 일환으로 ‘스테인리스강 프로펠러축의 가공에 따른 재질 특성에 관한 연구’를 실시함으로써 프로펠러축 검사와 관련한 평가 기준 정립의 근본적인 지침 자료를제시하고자 함. 또한 본 연구과제는 스테인리스강 프로펠러축에 대한 가공(육성․열) 특성을 살펴 봄으로써 기존에 이미 발표된 판 형태의 스테인리스강 용접에 대한 연구와는 다소 구별되는 과제일 뿐만 아니라 단순한 스테인리스강의 용접특징을 나타낸 실험들과는 다르게 스테인리스강 프로펠러축에 대한 특징들을 분석하고 평가함으로써 현장중심의 연구가 될 수 있도록 하였음. 이번 연구의 결과는 일반적으로 알려진 스테인리스강의 용접관련 특성들을 통해어느 정도의 결과 추정은 가능하나 앞에서 언급한 기준들에 대한 구체적인 근거자료를 확보하여 필요시 적절하게 활용할 수 있는 자료가 될 수 있도록 하고자 하였음.

급성 정신분열병 환자에 대한 Risperidone(R 64766)의 임상 효과 및 안정성 연구

  • 목적:지금까지 Risperidone의 치료 효능과 안전성에 대한 연구들이 모두 만성 정신분열병 환자들만을 대상으로 이루어졌고, 효율적인 약물 요법의 중요한 지침이 되는 유효치료용량(effective therapeutic dosage)에 대한 연구가 이루어지지 않고 있는 바, 본 연구에서는 초발인 급성 정신분열병 환자들을 대상으로 첫째, Risperidone의 항정신병 효과(antipsychotic effect)와 추체외로계증상(extrapyramidal symptoms)을 평가하고 둘째, Risperidone의 항정신병 효과와 혈장 Risperidone 및 9-hydroxyrisperidone 농도와의 상관관계를 분석하여 유효혈장농도(therapeutic dose range)와 유효치료용량(effective therapeutic dosage)의 존재 여부를 검토코자 한다. 방법: DSM-III-R 진단기준(APA 1987)예 의해 정신분열병형 장애로 진단된 환자 11명(남자 5, 여자 6)을 대상으로 Risperidone을 이중맹검법(double blind design)으로 6주간 투약하였다. 정신병리의 평가는 PANSS(Kay 1988)를 이용하였고 추체외로계 부작용의 평가는 ESRS(Chouinard 1980)를 이용하였다. 혈장 Risperidone 농도와 혈장 9-hydroxyrisperidone 농도는 Jansen사의 Radioimmunoassay Kit를 이용하여 3회 측정하였다. 결과: PANSS 점수는 Risperidone 투여 후 1주째부터 통계적으로 유의하게 감소하였다. Parkinsonism과 dyskinesa에 대한 physician's examination 점수는 전체 연구 기간 동안 유의한 변화를 보이지 않았다. Dystonia에 대한 physician's examination 점수는 Risperidone 투여 후 1주째에는 평균 5.96점으로 높았으나 2주째부터 통계적으로 유의하게 감소되어 6주째에는 유지되었다. 혈장 Risperidone 농도와 혈장 9-hydroxyrisperidone 농도는 PANSS 점수와 유의한 상관관계를 보이지 않았다.

Development of Safety Training Delivery Method Using 3D Simulation Technology for Construction Worker (건설현장 작업자를 위한 3차원 시뮬레이션 바탕의 안전 교육전달 매체 개발)

  • Construction worker safety and safety training continue to be main issues in the construction industry. In order to promote safety awareness among workers, it is imperative to develop a more effective and efficient safety training. This study compared two methods in construction worker safety training: 1) a conventional lecture and 2) 3D simulation through Building Information Modeling. Both training methods included the same contents, a selection of safety standard and guide suggested by Occupational Safety and Health Agency and the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency; the contents were then produced into two types of training methods. A survey was conducted targeting on safety managers, in which the managers evaluated lifelikeness, active learning and enjoyment that each of training methods can promote. The results of the survey showed that innovative method using 3D simulation was more effective than conventional lecture method in terms of its lifelikeness, active learning and enjoyment. This study will provide implications that innovative method using the virtual reality is more effective than conventional lecture method.

The Practical Simplified Equation for Settlement Evaluation of Counter Facility in Soft Ground Centering on Rubble Mound (연약지반에 설치된 항만 외곽시설의 안전점검을 위한 침하 평가 간편식 제안 - 사석경사제 중심으로)

  • In this study, a simplified equation for settlement evaluation suitable for the special conditions of a counter facility is suggested. Recently, counter facilities, especially breakwaters, are constructed on soft ground in distant seas as new-port development projects. A counter facility that resists the external forces by self-weight settles easily when constructed on soft ground. Settlement in a counter facility and breakwater is not an important factor for maintenance than a land facility. On the other hand, the current settlement evaluation criteria are excessive for conducting a safety inspection. A settlement evaluation from a safety inspection followed by "Detailed Guidelines for a safety inspection on a counter facility" is used. A simplified equation was proposed to calculate the maximum settlement by applying the allowable residual settlement or settlement stability evaluation results. The suitability of the simplified equation was assessed compared to the assessed rating from the settlement survey results. The proposed simplified equation showed that the settlement evaluation rating had been upgraded. The proposed simplified equation is expected to be used to evaluate the practical structural stability and functional performance.

Evaluation of Flexural Strength and Ductility of Hybrid Fiber Reinforced UHSC Flexural Members (하이브리드 강섬유 보강 초고강도 콘크리트 휨파괴형 부재의 강도 및 연성 평가에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, the flexural strength and curvature ductility factor of single and hybrid fiber reinforced ultra high strength concrete flexural members with conventional steel rebar were evaluated by experimental program with 3-UHSC beams. Test specimens were loaded by 4-pointed flexural loading. According to the test results, hybrid fiber reinforced UHPC test specimens had higher moment resisting capacity and ductility. For the safe design of hybrid fiber reinforced UHPC, test specimens were analyzed according to the sectional analysis method with material models suggested by K-UHPC design recommendation. Current K-UHPC design recommendation predict the moment resisting capacity of member conventionally and over-estimated the ductility.

  • In A bridge which connects Mokpo North Harbor and Com Island is going to be constructed until 2009. For the bridges being built in the navigable water area, it is indispensible to carry out vessel traffic safety assessment from the viewpoint of shiphandlers, however, there exist no specific guidelines for the necessary conditions whim the bridge designers can rely on. In this paper, traffic safety assessment procedures for the layout of the bridge is briefly introduced, and the conditions whim should be taken into account at the initial design stage of the bridge is surveyed. For the safety assessment of the bridge design, ship navigation simulations, such as RTS(real time simulation} and FTS(fast time simulation), are carried out, the results of which are statistically analysed to estimate the probability of collision between the ship and the pier of the bridge.

Comparative Analysis of the Prerequisite Items Applicable to the HACCP in Livestock Processing Plants (축산물가공장 HACCP 선행요건 평가항목 개선을 위한 비교분석)

  • We analyze the HACCP Prerequisites of National Veterinary Research and Quarantine Service (NVRQS), Korea Food and Drug Administration(KFDA), and US Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) and recommend contents and ranges to be complemented and used for the preparation of guidelines. We used the HACCP Notice of the Processing Livestock Act, the HACCP Application Manual for Livestock Processing Plants, the HACCP Notice of the Food Sanitation Act, US GPO 9 CFR and 21 CFR, US FSIS Directive 11,000.1, and HACCP-based Inspection reference guide of Consumer Services, North Carolina Department of Agriculture. The Prerequisites of NVRQS and KFDA are composed of 66 and 84 items respectively, without detailed guidelines for their application. This may decisively affect the application in the field and the evaluation activities. Water supplies, washing and disinfection monitoring tools, and examining and correcting plan are required to be improved. If the standards of compliance of each Prerequisite item as well as performance guidelines are given, the application and evaluation will be performed more effectively. The evaluation items should be associated with Prerequisite operations such as non-compliance complement, self-evaluation, and record keeping. Hazards found during official inspection should be promptly controlled not to contaminate the work places and processing items. As the HACCP is expected to spread from farms to tables, the standardized Prerequisite program among the official governments should be prepared.

A Study on the Safety Assessment Technique of a Tunnel Using Critical Stain Concept (한계변형률 개념을 활용한 터널 안정성 평가에 관한 연구)

  • An assesment technique for the quantitative evaluation of tunnel safety during tunnel excavation was newly proposed in this study using displacement measurements. First of all, field measurement guidelines used at tunnel construction sites in Korea and other countries were investigated. It was found out that the criteria of the guidelines were not clear and varied depending on the construction sites. The practical use of field measurement data for the evaluation of tunnel safety was very limited due to uncertainties of the guidelines related to the interpretation of measured data during the excavation. Critical strain concept is introduced in this study for the assesment of tunnel safety during the tunnel excavation. Moreover, the characteristics of tunnel displacements caused by the tunnel excavation were investigated in detail in order to investigate the practical application of the critical strain concept. The total tunnel displacements can be subdivided into three parts: displacements occurring ahead of tunnel face, displacements occurring prior to measurements, and displacements occurring after the installation of instruments. The characteristic of each portion of displacements is analysed in this study. Finally, a general method on the use of the displacement measurement data for the critical strain concept was suggested in the concrete manner, considering the field measurement practice in Korea.

Influence of Modelling Approaches of Diffusion Coefficients on Atmospheric Dispersion Factors (확산계수의 모델링방법이 대기확산인자에 미치는 영향)

  • A diffusion coefficient is an important parameter in the prediction of atmospheric dispersion using a Gaussian plume model, and its modelling approach varies. In this study, dispersion coefficients recommended by the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission's (U. S. NRC's) regulatory guide and the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission's (CNSC's) regulatory guide, and used in probabilistic accident consequence analysis codes MACCS and MACCS2 have been investigated. Based on the atmospheric dispersion model for a hypothetical accidental release recommended by the U. S. NRC, its influence to atmospheric dispersion factor was discussed. It was found that diffusion coefficients are basically predicted from a Pasquill- Gifford curve, but various curve fitting equations are recommended or used. A lateral dispersion coefficient is corrected with consideration for the additional spread due to plume meandering in all models, however its modelling approach showed a distinctive difference. Moreover, a vertical dispersion coefficient is corrected with consideration for the additional plume spread due to surface roughness in all models, except for the U. S. NRC's recommendation. For a specified surface roughness, the atmospheric dispersion factors showed differences up to approximately 4 times depending on the modelling approach of a dispersion coefficient. For the same model, the atmospheric dispersion factors showed differences by 2 to 3 times depending on surface roughness.
