우리나라의 명실상부한 최고 휴양지. 외국인들이 가장 찾고 싶어하는 곳. 바로 제주도를 이르는 말이다. 제주도는 지난 11월 12일 '뉴세븐원더스(New7wonders)'에 의해 '세계 7대 자연경관'으로 선정됐다. 이를 통해 제주도는 우리나라 국민들은 물론, 전세계인들에게 관광지 및 자연유산의 산실로 더욱 큰 사랑을 받을 것으로 전망된다. 최근 이곳에 아주 의미있는 건물이 들어서고 있다. 바로 제주세계자연유산센터다. 제주의 관광을 상징하고 국제적 위상에 걸 맞는 탐방인프라를 구축하고자 추진해 온 세계자연유산센터는 지난해 8월 착공에 들어가 내년 6월에 준공될 계획에 있다. 이 센터는 제주 자연유산의 관리 및 보전을 위한 연구와 모니터링 활동을 하게 된다. 쉽게 말해 제주도의 모든 자연 문화적 유산을 이 제주세계자연유산센터에서 통괄적으로 관리, 운영하게 되는 것이다. 이렇게 사회적으로 큰 의미가 있는 제주세계자연유산센터가 만약 안전하지 못하다면? 안전이 확보되지 않는 공정과 시민들의 안전을 담보지 못하는 시설이라면, 전세계인은 물론 지역민, 국내관광객 모두에게 외면 받을 수 밖에 없다. 때문에 이곳 건설현장은 '안전'을 최고의 가치로 여기며 공사를 진행하고 있다. 제주도를 찾는 국내외 관광객들의 쉼터이자 길라잡이 역할을 하게 될 제주세계자연유산센터가 안전하게 만들어지는 과정을 한 번 들여다 봤다.

The facilities using LP gas in camping vehicles, which are exposed to safety problems due to the proliferation of domestic leisure culture, are not subject to statutory inspection so, effective safety management measures are needed because the subject or method of safety management is ambiguous. In this study, we tried to propose the safety management measures through the deduction of representative types of camping vehicles, research on the actual condition of LPG facilities in camping vehicles and investigation and review of relevant regulations. Through the results of this study, we expect to contribute to the improvement of the safety management efficiency and safety of facilities using LP gas in domestic camping vehicles.

In this paper, the guidelines for the design of an Artificial Intelligence(AI) based Integrated Process Safety Management(PSM) system to enhance workplace safety using data from process safety reports submitted by hazardous and risky facility operators in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act is proposed. The system composed of the proposed guidelines is to be implemented separately by individual facility operators and specialized process safety management agencies for single or multiple workplaces. It is structured with key components and stages, including data collection and preprocessing, expansion and segmentation, labeling, and the construction of training datasets. It enables the collection of process operation data and change approval data from various processes, allowing potential fault prediction and maintenance planning through the analysis of all data generated in workplace operations, thereby supporting decision-making during process operation. Moreover, it offers utility and effectiveness in time and cost savings, detection and prediction of various risk factors, including human errors, and continuous model improvement through the use of accurate and reliable training data and specialized datasets. Through this approach, it becomes possible to enhance workplace safety and prevent accidents.

This study focuses on drivers' risk perception & construct in risk scene. The measures used were the scores of hazard perception, namely the subjects' evaluation of the degree of risk through the 'Q-sorting' with 30 drivers. The subjects were divided into 3 groups according to their evaluating score, Z-score, road users' hazard(type 1), environmental hazard(type 2), situational hazard(type 3). And ten constructs derived from Q-sorting were compared through 'consensus item analysis'. It suggest that there are different in constructs for risk perception. Then those results are discussed in terms of theoretical and practical implication of traffic safety including accidents analysis and drivers' education.

Purpose: This paper aims to clarify the problems and to examine the improvement methods by investigating the management condition of local-designated cultural property of which management is relatively poor in comparison with state-designated cultural heritage. Method: In order to grasp the management situation of the local-designated cultural heritage, a research on cultural heritage management situation and problems will be carried out with 35 cultual heritages in Goryeong-gun. Also, the improvement methods about the property type vulnerability on the basis of interview with cultual property managers, fire-fighting officers and civil servants, etc. Results: Local cultural heritages were investigated to be very vulnerable to the fire of wooden buildings, the theft of movable cultural heritages, and the effects of wind and water damage. It is because cultural heritages are scattered over wide areas fundamentally. As the result, it has difficulty in the patrols of police officers and fire fighters, and in the situation that it lacks disaster monitoring and CCTV for countermeasures to replace them, electronic security including fire hydrant, sensors, etc and fire extinguishing facilities and so on. It is difficult for local governments managing local-designated cultural heritages to enhance their management systems directly due to their lack of budget and manpower. Conclusion: In order to strengthen disaster and safety management system for the cultural heritages designated by local governments, they have to clarify disaster countermeasure task of fire fighting, police, and cultural heritage managers prepare their manuals, and systematize them through disaster drill mainly in local autonomous governments. Also, so as to establish a surveillance system every day, they have to enhance the community for local cultural heritage manage consisting of local volunteer fire departments, local voluntary disaster prevention organizations, volunteers, etc.

한국가스기술공사는 주요 에너지원인 액화천연가스(LNG)의 공급과 관련된 전체 설비들의 유지보수 업무를 담당하고 있는 공기업이다. 가스설비라는 특성상 사소한 실수라도 대형사고로 이어질 수 있어, 다른 어느 곳보다 안전의 중요성이 강조된다고 할 수 있다. 이런 가운데 최근 한국가스기술공사 인천지사가 의미있는 기록을 달성해 주목을 받고 있다. 1996년 3월 18일 무재해 운동을 개시한 이래 2012년 12월 26일까지 총 6,128일간 단 한 건의 안전사고도 발생시키지 않으면서 '무재해 15배'라는 대기록을 달성한 것이다. 15년이 넘는 무재해는 개인 또는 소수의 노력만으로는 절대 이뤄질 수 없는 일이다. 안전한 사업장을 만들기 위해 전 직원 모두가 합심하여 전심전력(全心全力)을 다해야만 얻어질 수 있는 값진 성과인 것이다. 전 직원의 빈틈없는 안전관리를 표방하고 있는 한국가스기술공사 인천지사를 찾아가봤다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate emergency room nurses' recognition of patient safety culture and their performance of safety management activity. Methods: Data were collected from July 1 to August 31, 2012 on 292 emergency room nurses working at 25 general hospitals located in B city in G province. The Hospital Survey on Patient Safety Culture was used to measure patient safety culture, and an 82-item questionnaire was developed to measure safety management activity. Results: the performance of safety management activity were significantly associated with the total career years, whether the nurses had undergone safety training, and whether the nurses has been working in the regional emergency care facility. Of 6 subcategories of the patient safety culture, the perception of a directly commanding senior/manager, frequency of accident reports, and hospital environment were associated with the performance of safety management activity. Conclusion: For improving performance of safety management activity among emergency room nurses, it is necessary to develop an educational program of safety management activity by their level of performance.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of professional autonomy, organizational commitment, and perceived patient safety culture on patient safety management activities of nurses in medium and small-sized hospitals. Methods: A cross-sectional design was employed. Self-reported questionnaires were completed by 121 nurses with at least 3 months of working experience in medium and small-sized hospitals located in B city. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, a t-test, a one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and a multiple regression analysis. Results: Professional autonomy (r=.22, p=.016), organizational commitment (r=.34, p<.001), and perceived patient safety culture (r=.55, p<.001) had a statistically significant positive correlation with patient safety management activities. The factors that might affect patient safety management activities were professional autonomy (${\beta}=.23$, p=.003) and perceived patient safety culture (${\beta}=.55$, p<.001). The explanatory power of these factors for patient safety management activities was 33.5% (F=21.19, p<.001). Conclusions: The development of repetitive and continuous education programs is needed to improve a nurse's professional autonomy and perceived patient safety culture.

In the NATM tunnel construction method for urban subway and underpass construction, various causes of disaster exist. In this study, in order to analyze the importance of disaster influencing factors during NATM tunnel excavation, the possible risk factors were analyzed through prior research such as drilling, charging and blasting, It was divided into the work items of wrinkle treatment, pumice cleanup, and support materials. Next, the final 21 detailed measurement indicators were selected through the FGI survey of related experts, and AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) analysis were conducted. As a result, it was found that the workers involved in the tunnel construction were the most influential disaster influencing factor.
