  • Recently, much of forest biomass has been obtained from the national forest management operation. Unfortunately, Korean Forest Services has a plan to use this forest biomass as energy fuels for wood pellets. Considering unhappy situation that about 80% of wood pulps has been imported, it is regarded as unwise decision. If forest biomass can be used to make pulps or other valuable woody products, we are able to double its economic value than the raw materials for wood pellets. In this study, we explored alternative raw materials for wood biomass used to make wood pellets. For this, fresh technology such as torrefaction was applied with the other lignocellulosic biomass.

  • In this Paper, a new multi-sensor single-target tracking method in cluttered environment is proposed. Unlike the established methods such as probabilistic data association filter (PDAF), the proposed method intends to reflect the information in detection phase into parameters in tracking so as to reduce uncertainty due to clutter. This is achieved by first modifying the Bayes risk in Bayesian detection criterion to incorporate the likelihood of measurements from multiple sensors. The final estimate is then computed by taking a linear combination of the likelihood and the estimate of measurements. We develop the procedure and discuss the results from representative simulations.

  • Hermetic rotary compressor is one of the most Important components for air conditioning system since it has a great effect on both the performance and the noise and vibration of He system. Noise and vibration of rotary compressor is occurred due to gas pulsation during compression process and unbalanced dynamic force. In order to reduce noise and vibration. it is necessary to identify sources of noise and vibration and effectively control then. Many approaches have been tried to identify noise sources of compressor. However, compressor noise source identification has proven to be difficult since the characteristics of compressor noise are complicated due to the interaction of the compressor parts and gas pulsation. In this work, Statistical Energy Analysis has been used to trace the energy flow in the compressor and identify transmission paths from the noise source to the sound field.

  • Sound intensity method is well known as a visualization technique of sound field and sound propagation in noise control. Sound intensity is a vector quantity that describes the magnitude and the direction of net flow of acoustic energy at a given position. The current measuring method is expensive and difficult to identify the noise source exactly. In this paper, we have studied the noise source identification and the characteristics of noise source of rotary compressor for air conditioner using complex sound intensity method. The new method for instantaneous sound intensity is also proposed and it is useful for transient state and steady state. The criteria of these state, select auto correlation coefficient. The advantage, simplicity and economic attribution of this method are verified by analyzing the characteristics of noise source with instantaneous sound intensity compared to mean sound intensity.

  • Vibration and Noise of air conditioner are entirely determined by compressor vibration. Compressor vibration transmitted to the enclosure of air conditioner or Pipes connected compressor with heat exchanger. Enclosure generated noise and vibration. Therefore, the analysis of compressor vibration analysis is considered significant technical issue. For the reduction of vibration of compressor, it is necessary to grasp correctly vibration transmission paths and excitation sources in the compressor shell. Because, shell (Surface of compressor) shows whole vibration characteristic of compressor mechanism. In this paper, vibration intensity was applied to measure vibration energy flow on the shell. From this technique, it is possible to catch the path of vibration propagation along the one cycle and the location of vibration energy sources may change with time on the shell.

  • The challenge is to maximize the time-to-market benefits of concurrent engineering while maintaining control of data and distributing it automatically to the people who need it when they need it. The way PDM systems cope with this challenge is that master data is held only once in a secure vault where its integrity can be assured and all changes to it monitored, controlled and recorded. The structure of PDM is various from vendor, but they have common module. That is PDM and it is most important. The goal is to design the workflow in PDM using object-oriented modeling method. The past methods have concentrated on the flow between workflow engine and agent, but this paper will focus on task. We will model task as individual object. This paper uses OMT(Object Modeling Technique) by James Rumbaugh for base modeling tool and uses DCOM(Distributed Component Object Model) for base ORB(Object Request Broker). Research object is to design the static object model, to design state change by dynamic model and to design data transition by functional model.

  • VTS 시스템의 비약적인 발전에도 불구하고, 현재 물동량의 증가에 따른 선박 교통량 및 고위험군 선박의 증가로 인해 언제든지 사고의 내연성을 가지고 있다. 또한 입출항 항로에서의 어로행위나 무단횡단, 부두 신설로 인한 해상교통 여건의 어려움을 가지고 있는 것이 현실이다. 이런 상황에서 고위험군 선박 즉, 거대형선이나 대형 원유선, 구조물 운송 예부선의 해양 안전 사고 예방을 위해 특별관리체제(전담관제)를 구축함으로써 항로의 안전성 확보 및 충돌 예방을 위한 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

  • 본 연구에서는 [1]에서 제안된 알고리즘을 마찰력이 존재하는 로봇 매니퓰레이터에 적용하여 위치제어를 수행하였다. 제안된 제어 알고리즘은 로봇의 위치 정보만을 이용하는 반복적 제어구조를 가지고 있다. 또한 제어기 설계 시, 로봇의 파라미터를 이용하지 않기 때문에 파라미터 불확실성이 있는 시스템에 강인한 특징을 보인다. 제안된 제어기의 성능을 검증하기 위하여.마찰력이 존재하는 2축 SCARA형 로봇에 적용하여 시뮬레이션 수행하였다

  • Samples from the L, F, H and $A_1$ horizons of the Phragmites longivalvis grassland were collected in a delta of the Nakdong River and the removal rates of N, P, K, Ca and Na were investigated. The results obtained in this study can be abstracted as follows; The removal fractions of N, P, K, Ca and Na of the litter were 0.56, 1.22, 1.95, 0.65 and 0.53, respectively. The half times of N, P, K, Ca and Na required for the remove or accumulation of the litter on the grassland floor were 1.23, 0.57, 0.36, 1.06 and 1.32 years, respectively. The increasing order of the turnover parameters of the elements was Na, N, Ca, P and K.

  • The purpose of this work is to support a solution of optimizing TMO (tone mapping operator). JPEG XT Profile A and C utilize Erik Reinhard TMO that works well in most cases, however, detailed information of a scene is lost in some cases. Reinhard TMO only calculates its coefficient to have tone-mapping curve from log-average luminance, and this lead to lose details of bright and dark area of scenes in turn. Thus, this paper proposes an enhancement of the default TMO for JPEG XT Profile C to optimize tone-mapping curve. Main idea is that we divide tone mapping curve into several ranges, and set reasonable parameters for each range. By the experimental results, the proposed scheme shows and obtains better performance within a dark scene, compared to the default Reinhard TMO.
