Objectives : Middle aged women with depression often experience hot flush symptoms. It is still unclear about the association between depression and hot flush symptoms. Therefore, we investigated hormonal profile, functional somatic symptoms, coping styles and attitude for menopause between depressed women with hot flush and those without hot flush. Methods : This study included 33 depressed patients with hot flush symptoms and 33 depressed patients without hot flush symptoms. Hot flush was confirmed through prospective daily symptom ratings for a week. Subjects' coping styles were assessed by the stress coping checklist. Somatic symptoms were assessed by the Patient Health Questionnaire-15(PHQ-15). Sex hormonal levels were assayed by a radioimmunoassay. The Brief World Health Organization Quality of Life Assessment Instrument(WHOQOL-BREF) was used to evaluate quality of life. Results : In coping style, depressed women with hot flush symptoms used less 'problem-centered coping'($13.15{\pm}3.17$) and 'search for social support'($11.83{\pm}2.84$) than those without hot flush symptoms($15.17{\pm}3.1$, p=0.028 ; $14.25{\pm}3.22$, p=0.009 ; respectively). Depressed women with hot flush symptoms showed more negative attitude toward post-menopause, but its statistical significance was marginally insufficient(p=0.059). We did not find any group differences in sex hormonal levels and somatic complaints assessed by the PHQ-15. The score of social relationship domain of WHOQOL-BREF was significantly lower in subjects with hot flush symptoms($8.62{\pm}2.04$) than subjects without hot flush symptoms($9.71{\pm}1.65$ ; p=0.044). Conclusions : Among middle aged women with depression, the manifestation of hot flush symptoms was associated with coping styles and attitude for menopausal transition. Hot flush symptoms in depressed women negatively influence quality of life, so clinicians actively perform therapeutic approach in case of depressed patients with hot flush symptoms. In case of depressed patients who present hot flushes, cognitive behavior therapy or stress management might be an effective treatment option in company with antidepressants or hormonal treatment. Later, longitudinal study will be needed to evaluate risk factor, cause and effect associated with hot flush and depression.

Panfacial fracture is extremely difficult to manage facial injuries but concomitant injuries and severe complications including facial esthetic and functional problems can make it harder. Thorough evaluation and closed co-work with other specialists is needed when reduction and fixation cannot be achieved quickly. Emergency bony support and soft tissue key suture provide the patients with airway integrity, hard and soft tissue vitality. A systemic treatment plan must be made by 3D CT image. This plan include airway management for surgery, sequence of reduction and fixation, approach method, soft tissue resuspension and reconstruction of lost tissue like inferior orbital wall, zygomaic buttress and soft tissue. From known to unknown structures, accurate reduction and fixation will provide proper occlusion, facial projection, width, hight and function. Consideration about facial retaining ligaments must be given to prevent soft tissue sagging.

With the recent rapid development of mobile terminals and personal computers and the advent of neural network technology, real-time face swapping using images has become possible. In particular, the cycle generative adversarial network made it possible to replace faces using uncorrelated image data. In this paper, we propose an input data processing scheme that can improve the quality of face swapping with less training data and time. The proposed scheme can improve the image quality while preserving facial structure and expression information by combining facial landmarks extracted through a pre-trained neural network with major information that affects the structure and expression of the face. Using the blind/referenceless image spatial quality evaluator (BRISQUE) score, which is one of the AI-based non-reference quality metrics, we quantitatively analyze the performance of the proposed scheme and compare it to the conventional schemes. According to the numerical results, the proposed scheme obtained BRISQUE scores improved by about 4.6% to 14.6%, compared to the conventional schemes.

최근 경기 침체에 불구하고 피부관리에 아낌없이 투자하는 소비자들이 늘어나면서 가정용 안면피부미용기기 (뷰티디바이스) 열기가 거세다. 시간과 장소에 제약이 없이 가성비가 뛰어난 가정용 안면피부미용기기 시장은 지난해 약 1000억으로 전년 대비 약 25%의 성장을 보이고 있으며 당분간 이 열기는 지속될 것이다. 본 연구는 이런 가정용 안면피부미용기기 시장이 이제 막 주목받고 있는 분야임에도 불구하고 연구된 바가 거의 없다. 라서 본 연구는 기업의 중요한 마케팅수단인 SNS의 구전 정보의 특성이 가정용 안면피부미용기기 (뷰티디바이스) 구매의도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 분석하고 구매의도에 중요한 역할하는 소비자의 태도가 어떤 매개역할을 하지는 분석하여 성장해가고 있는 가정용 안면피부미용기기(뷰티디바이스) 창업기업의 마케팅 전략에 기여할 것으로 판단된다. 연구모형에 있어서 SNS의 구전정보의 특성으로는 구전정보의 방향성, 구전정보의 수량, 구전정보의 내용 품질, 구전정보의 유형 들로 독립변수를 설정하였고, 종속변수인 구매의도사이에 매개변수로서 소비자태도를 선정하였다. 서울지역 여성 소비자들 중에서 가정용 안면 피부 미용기기를 사용해 본 경험이 있는 조건부 불특정 다수를 대상으로 150개의 표본을 추출하였다. 분석 방법은 확인적 요인분석과 크론바하 알파 계수로 변수의 타당성, 신뢰성 분석을 하고 경로분석을 통하여 변수간 가설 검정을 분석중에 있다.

병원별 총 추적기간은 602-4,137 인년 이었으며, 병원별 대상자 1인당 추적일수의 중앙값은 34.5-61일 이었다. 병원별 추적 완료율도 35.3-92.3%로 다양하게 나타났다. 대상자중 칼슘차단제의 혈관확장효과에 따른 부작용들의 8주간 누적 발생율을 보면, 안면홍조 23.3%, 두통 13.5%, 심계항진 13.3%, 어지러움 7.6%, 하지부종 6.6% 였다. 그 외 부작용으로는 변비 13예, 소화장애 8예, 오심 6예, 치은비대, 안면부종, 피로감이 각각 2예, 탈모증, 불면증, 허약감, 피부질환, 호흡곤란, 손발저림, 발한, 구강건조 등이 각각 1예 있었다. 안면홍조의 발생율이 남자(12.9%)보다 여자(29.9%)에서 높았으며, 투여한 약제에 따라서 Nitrendipine 34.0%, Nifedipine 26,6%, Nicardipine 17.8%, Amlodipine 12.2%로써 약제별로 차이가 있었다. 두통의 발생율은 40세 미만 32.8%, 40-54세 15,8%, 55세 이상 10.5%로써 연령이 증가할수록 발생율이 낮았다. 하지부종의 발생율도 남자(3.4%)보다 여자(8.6%)에서 높았으며, 투여한 약제에 따라서 Nitrendipine 15.2%, Nifedipine 10.0%, Amlodipine 2, 1%, Nicardipine 0%로써 약제별로 차이가 있었다. 안면홍조가 발생한 환자에서 약물을 계속 투여시 2주후에 63.5%, 4주후에 77.0% 6주후에 88.5%가 소실하여 최초 안면홍조가 발생한 환자중 11.5%에서만 증상이 남아있었다. 약물투여를 중단하게 된 사유는 안면홍조와 두통이 각각 15예, 심계항진 4예, 어지러움 2예, 변비 및 안면부종이 각각 1예로 나타났다.

Lipomas are the most common benign mesenchymal tumors composed of mature adipocytes. They are usually slow-growing, soft and asymptomatic masses. Angiolipomas are rare benign soft tissue tumors that are distinguished from common lipomas by a marked degree of vascularization. The diagnosis and prognosis of angiolipomas are based entirely on the findings of histological evaluations. Angiolipoma, showing characteristics of both lipoma and hemangioma, usually develop in the trunk and extremities, and rarely arise in the head and neck region. Angiolipoma of the cheek is very rare. This report presents the clinical and histopathological features of infiltrating angiolipoma excised from the cheek.

안면 인식은 Face ID를 비롯하여 미아 찾기, 범죄자 추적 등의 분야에 도입되고 있다. 안면 인식은 최근 딥러닝을 통해 인식률이 향상되었으나, 측면에서의 인식률은 정면에 비해 특징 추출이 어려우므로 비교적 낮다. 이런 문제는 해당 인물의 정면이 없고 측면만 존재할 경우 안면 인식을 통한 신원확인이 어려워 단점으로 작용될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 측면 이미지를 바탕으로 정면을 생성함으로써 안면 인식을 적용할 수 있는 상황을 확장하는 인공지능 기반의 안면 정면화 모델을 구현한다. 모델의 안면 특징 추출을 위해 VGG-Face를 사용하며 특징 추출에서 생길 수 있는 정보 손실을 막기 위해 U-Net 구조를 사용한다.
