In this paper, we design and implement an agent-based mask dance guidance system which provides multimedia information on traditional masques through WWW. When the server receives a query from the client, it produces the multimedia data by connecting several real full-motion videos, and synthesizing adequate voice data for guiding announcement. To develop an agent-based guidance system, we designed and implemented four agents such as interface agent, user modeling agent coordinator agent and data management agent. The mask dance guidance system also provides the functions of searching using the keyword and learning.

The goal of our research is to develop a smart context-aware guide system that provides a smart and personalized guide services based on implicit awareness of context. As a context-aware guide application, we have developed a location-aware smart bus guide system for Seoul based on PDA and GPS. It guides users to the nearby bus stops and provides users with information about the bus lines at the bus stops.

Urban railway are the most widely used means of transportation in the metropolitan area. It is difficult to draw out problems through the quantitative analysis technique because most of the research results show that most of the guide signs are installed with many or few guide signs. In this study, we propose a method to evaluate the information load and proper installation location at the main decision point in the transfer passageway for Suseo Station by applying Positive Guidance. As a result of analyzing the information load using this technique, it is suggested that the necessary information should be provided centered on the copper node because it provides confusion of the users by providing the same information in the transfer line. It is necessary to obtain guidance on how to remove the sign (advertising, high ceilings, etc). The study will be regarded as a key for the basis and placement of the guidelines for determining the appropriateness of the in the future urban railway station sign guide.

Due to IT(information technology) development, various ITs have been applied to tourism. Since June 2010, PDA guide service was launched in Kyungbok palace. This study tried to find how effectively the service is operated by comparing flow, satisfaction and reuse intention of PDA users with those of who have received guide service by professional interpreter. The result indicates that those who have received professional interpretation showed to be more involved, satisfied and have more intention to reuse. The paper explored the composing factors of PDA guide service, which are 'interpretation', 'design', 'ease of use', and 'stability of operation'. Among these factors, interpretation was analyzed to be only factor what affects users' involvement and also most influential attribute explaining users' satisfaction and reuse intention. 'Interpretation', 'stability' and 'ease of use' are shown to have impact on satisfaction, while 'interpretation' and 'stability' have significant effect on users' reuse intention of PDA guide service. The operational implications from these results are suggested.

The goal of our research is to develop more effective bus information system using user generated information and social tagging. In this research, we have developed a smartphone-based bus guide system using social tagging and awareness of location. It will guide users to the nearby bus stops and provides users with information about the bus lines at the bus stops. Information around bus-stops can also be registered as tags into the system by users and can be utilized for bus information service. Simple keyword search utilizing tagging information can provide users with bus information about destinations.

최근 증강현실에 대한 관심이 증가함에 따라 증강현실 기술을 활용한 다양한 앱이 등장하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 증강현실 기술을 이용한 숙명여자대학교 안내 안드로이드 앱을 개발한다. 본 논문에서 개발한 앱은 Vuforia SDK를 이용하여 교내 건물의 외관을 인식해 해당 건물의 시설을 안내해주고 학과 잠바를 인식하여 해당 학과의 전용 시설을 안내해준다. 뿐만 아니라 증강현실로 숙명여자대학교 대표 캐릭터인 눈송이를 구현해내어 눈송이를 꾸미고 움직이게 하는 재미를 제공한다. 따라서 본 앱은 학교 안내 앱의 새로운 방향을 제시하며 신입생들의 학교 안내와 학교 캐릭터 홍보에 많은 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

최근 자동차 수의 급속한 증가와 대중 교통의 발달로 인하여 ITS(Intelligent Transportation System)과 같은 지리/교통 안내 시스템의 연구 개발이 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 이러한 시스템의 중요한 기능 중의 하나로 대중 교통의 관리와 안내 서비스가 있다. 특히 우리나라의 경우 아직 많은 사람들이 대중 교통을 이용하고 있고, 대중 교통이 대도시 교통체증의 중요 해결책으로 인식되므로 이러한 기능이 더욱 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 인터넷을 통하여 접근할 수 있는 버스 노선 안내 서비스 시스템을 개발한 경험을 소개한다. 버스 노선 안내 서비스 시스템은 사용자가 접근하기 용이해야 하며 실용적인 서비스 결과를 제공할 수 있어야 한다. 또한 추후 개발되는 여러 ITS 구성 요소들과 유기적으로 결합할 수 있는 상호 운용성이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 분산 객체 미들웨어의 표준인 CORBA를 이용하여 인터넷을 통한 접근이 용이하고 상호 운용성이 뛰어난 시스템 구조를 제안하였다. 이 시스템의 구조와 스키마는 추후 다른 대중 교통 안내 서비스 시스템과의 연계 혹은 다른 ITS 구성 요소와의 연계에 쉽게 대응할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

본고에서는 현재 정부에서 입법을 추진하고 있는 정보공개에 관한 일반법인 정보공개법의 제정이전에 이미 시행되고 있는 정보공개제도를 안내하여 정보공개법이 제정되기 이전이라도 국민들이 정보공개제도를 적극활용할 수 있도록 하자는 취지에서 현재 운용되고 있는 정보공개제도의 내용과 운영현황을 설명하고자 한다.

Recently the mobile terminals using GPS offer find-way service. But for obtaining the simple small-map, this system is very additional expensive. Accordingly it is impossible to provide this service using the general mobile terminals which almost all of the people have. Therefore, in this paper we design and develop the mobile outline map and guide map to solve the problems of the existed find-way service in the mobile environments. This system supports the mobile guide service of the destination without the additional cost on mobile terminal based on WIPI at any time and any where. And mobile service providers are able to advertise for neighborhood stores of the searching destination using this system.

BIS(Bus arrival Information System) is a system that informs Passengers waiting at bus stops of the bus arrival time of next buses. However, when operating this system, it is not exactly known what type of bus arrival information should be provided. The purpose of this paper is to develop a model of the optimal bus arrival time to be informed for BIS. Analyzing Efficiency in the Seoul's Urban Bus Industry Using Data Envelopment Analysis. Two basic types of bus arrival information can be considered. One is Bus Locations : Where next buses are located and under what situation they are, such as the next bus departed from the previous stop, The other is Expected Arrival Time. Time to the arrivals of next buses. Characteristics of these two types of bus arrival time information provided for passengers waiting at bus stops for BIS are examined. The waiting time of passengers at bus stops is derived as a function of the bus arrival time to be informed. Some basic principles about the optimal bus arrival time to be informed are found. Finally, a case study assuming several simplifications is performed. One of the key findings is that there exists optimal arrival time to be informed other than the average arrival time. The optimal arrival time to be informed should be closer to the average arrival time for small and very large standard deviations and be earlier for certain amounts of standard deviations.
