The existing wireless village broadcasting systems use the method to connect to village broadcasting system using wire/wireless telephone to announce the important notices, public relations, and disater status. This type of systems have the problems that if broadcaster is facing rough going or forget the announcement time, it is impossible to inform village people important contents, urgent disaster status, evacuation method. This paper describes internet based village broadcasting system using mobile App to solve these problems. Broadcaster can save the voice and send the voice to App server using the mobile App to activate that voice specific day and time. This mobile App system can improve the efficiency and customer satisfaction of village broadcasting system.

최근 인터넷을 통하여 대부분의 박물관들이 새롭고 다양한 멀티미디어 안내 시스템을 시도하고 있지만 박물관 관람시에는 여전히 휴대용 안내기기를 통하여 음성 위주의 단방향 서비스를 제공하고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 응용 모바일을 이용하여 관람자에게 다양한 멀티미디어 정보를 웹에서와 같이 양방향 서비스로 제공할 수 있는 시스템을 제안하고자 한다. 또한 응용 모바일의 소형 디스플레이에서도 다량의 멀티미디어 정보를 효과적으로 검색할 수 있는 새로운 사용자 인터페이스를 박물관 안내 시스템에 적용하고자 한다.

최근 컴퓨팅 패러다임의 빠른 변화와 함께 차세대 컴퓨팅 기술로 인식되고 있는 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 기술이 사회 각 부분에 적용되고 있다. 국내의 경우, 차세대 초고속 인프라 구축 정책으로 브로드밴드 인프라와 디지털 컨버전스 기술발전에 의한 디바이스, 서비스, 네트워크의 진화로 유 무선 통합 환경에서 다양한 서비스의 통합이 가속화되고 있다. 교육 환경, 특히 대학 캠퍼스에서도 PC, 모바일 등을 이용하여 언제, 어디서나 교육 및 연구를 위한 정보자원에 접근할 수 있는 유 무선통합 캠퍼스인 u-Campus 환경 구축이 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 이 논문에서는 이러한 u-Campus 환경에서 캠퍼스에 방문하는 방문자에게 안드로이드 기반 안내 시스템을 설계한다. 기존 u-Campus 시스템들은 구성원만을 고려한 서비스를 제공하는 반면, 제안 시스템은 방문자를 고려한 서비스 제공을 지원하며, 특히 방문자에게 다양한 상황 정보를 이용하여 목적지까지 안내 해 주는 기능을 제공한다.

Recently, the wide spread popularity of smart phones causes the advent of various mobile applications base on the location information. Since previous pedestrian navigations are applied by extending car navigations, these are not only difficult to provide the appropriate route information, but also raise limitations in the efficient query processing by data structures of car road networks. In addition, these increase the power consumption caused by the growth of I/O frequency. In this paper, we propose a pedestrian road network model for the accurate route information and a storage structure for the pedestrian road network based on POI to reduce the I/O frequency. The proposed method enables efficient route searches over POI reflecting the characteristics and requirements of pedestrian roads. Also, a reduction of query processing costs for the route searching by a data structure considered with POI can save the power consumption more than previous approaches.

Using current evacuation methods, a crew describes the physical location of an accident and guides evacuation using alarms and emergency guide lights. However, in case of an accident on a large and complex building, an intelligent and effective emergency evacuation system is required to ensure the safety of evacuees. Therefore, several studies have been performed on intelligent path finding and emergency evacuation algorithms which are centralized guidance methods using gathered data from distributed sensor nodes. However, another important aspect is effective rescue guidance in an emergency situation. So far, there has been no consideration on the efficient rescue guidance scheme. Therefore, this paper proposes the genetic algorithm based emergency rescue guidance method using distributed wireless sensor networks. Performance evaluation using a computer simulation shows that the proposed scheme guarantees efficient path finding. The fitness converges to the minimum value in reasonable time. The density of each exit node is remarkably decreased as well.

This study is to develop a web-based career guidance system to be a help making a decision on one's occupation, which is important for a person's life. As career development education for higher grades of elementary school aims at providing basic knowledge necessary for career choice and forming a basic attitude toward occupation and values, it is desirable to carry out the guidance of a variety of occupations on the basis of personal interest and aptitude of individual students. Previously, however, most studies have remained at the level where simply test results are notified. Therefore, the study administered a career development test fit for higher grades of elementary school who are at the stage of potential career choice and developed a web-based career guidance system in which suitable occupation types are advised of based on the results. Beyond notifying test results, the developed career guidance system presents 3 excellent intelligences, rather than converting test results into scores. Thus, it is expected that the system will help students understand their areas of excellent intelligence, efficiently study related occupation types and duties, and learn to have awareness and make a better decision in relation to their career.
