The purpose of this study was to clarify similarity and identity between university library and archives through comparison of their information materials, functions and organizations. As a results, the archives are so much similar to library in the records, functions. It means what they can use the library resources together. The archives organizations mainly belongs to museum and rarely to libraries and administration organizations.

본 논문은 최근 스마트폰의 이용률의 급증에 따라 각종 애플리케이션이 개발되고 있는 가운데, 20세기 민중생활사 연구단의 무형문화유산 디지털 아카이브즈 시스템의 자료 입력과 자료 검색을 보다 편리하게 접근하고 효율적으로 사용하기 위한 방안을 제시한다. 이를 위해 아이폰의 기본 기능(GPS, 사진 및 동영상 촬영 등)을 활용하여 시간과 장소에 구애받지 않으면서 아카이브즈 자료를 손쉽게 업로드하고 검색 할 수 있는 무형문화유산 디지털 아카이브즈 애플리케이션을 구현하였다.

본 논문은 온라인상에서 제공되는 다양한 정보와 기술을 사용하여 20세기민중생활사 연구단의 디지털아카이브즈 시스템을 보다 효율적으로 사용하기 위한 방안을 제시하였다. 자료 관리를 위하여 기본적으로 더블린 코어 표준에 기초한 20세기민중생활사 디지털 아카이브즈 시스템 데이터베이스를 사용하였으며, Daum과 Naver에서 제공하는 Open API를 통하여 디지털 아카이브즈 데이터를 보다 현장감 있게 사용할 수 있도록 하였다.

디지털 아카이빙 정책은 디지털 정보를 보존하여 후대에 이용하도록 하기 위한 필수 요건이다. 디지털 아카이빙 정책은 정보 생성과 보존 활동을 위한 프레임워크뿐만 아니라, 지금 만들어진 안전장치정보에서 즉시 사용을 위한 실제적인 가이드라인을 규정하는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 다양한 유형의 디지털 아카이브즈에 있어서, 그 아카이브즈의 환경과 목표에 따라 규정되어지는 디지털 아카이빙정책의 이론적 배경을 분석하였고, 특히 호주 국립도서관의 디지털 아카이빙 정책과 프랑스 통계자료를 위한 보존 정책을 중심으로 사례 분석하였다.

본 논문은 아카이브즈 시스템에서 점점 방대해지는 자료들을 위해 적합한 데이터베이스 구조와 자료들을 활용할 수 있는 방안에 대하여 20세기민중생활사 연구단의 디지털아카이브즈 시스템을 통한 해결방안을 제시하였다. 자료들을 관리하기위해서 기본적으로 더블린 코어를 사용하였으며, 웹2.0 플랫폼을 활용하여 자료를 손쉽게 편집, 검색할 수 있도록 하였다.

아이폰을 선두로 하여 세계적으로 스마트폰이 각광을 받기 시작했다. 더불어 스마트폰의 성능이 향상됨에 따라 사용자가 점점 증가하고 있다. 이에 따라, 스마트폰을 이용한 다양한 연구가 진행되고 있고 응용 프로그램(Application)도 다양하게 개발되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 스마트폰과 디지털 아카이브즈 시스템을 접목하여 자료 수집 전문 연구원(아키비스트)에게 보다 쉬운 자료 수집 환경을 제공한다. 또한, 일반 사용자들에게는 아카이브 자료를 쉽게 이용 할 수 있도록 편이성을 제공하고자 한다. 이를 위해 개발자에게 편리한 개발환경과 부대비용이 들지 않는 Google의 안드로이드(Android) 플랫폼을 선택하여 스마트폰 상의 디지털 아카이브즈 시스템을 구현 하였다.

This study discusses 'Archive 2.0' as a new paradigm for managing and maintaining user-centered archives. A number of characteristics of 'Archive 2.0' which are quite different from established archives, so-called 'Archive 1.0', are explored in three aspects including management, user relation and archivists' role. Furthermore, the study analyzes types of record services and user participations according to applied technologies. For case studies, two wiki-based record services, 'Your Archives' and 'Our Archives', are explored. Based on the theoretical and practical studies, advantages and drawbacks of 'Archive 2.0' are analyzed. As a result, essential elements for establishing 'Archive 2.0' are discussed.

The digital archives of E-culture, E-government, E-learning, and E-business have grown by leaps and bounds worldwide during the last several years. While we have invested significant time and effort to create and maintain those archives, we do not have the ability to make digital records generated by the processes all available across generations of information technology, making it accessible with future technology and enabling people to determine whether it is authentic and reliable. This is a very serious problem for which no solutions have been devised yet. This paper discusses practical technologies for digital archives and preservation to succeed, and describes a general framework of the life cycle of information to address this important problem so that we may find reasonable ways to preserve digital records that can be analyzed and evaluated in quantitative measures and incremental manners.

This paper has two aims (1) to address the common European past by way of considering the development of the official archives of the European Union; and (2) to give specific attention to the activities of archivists in Germany. The EU archives contain the all the documents officially recording the common history of European integration from the establishment of the European Coal and Steel Community in 1951. It was at the beginning of the 1980s, thirty years after the production of these documents, however, that the Archives of the European Community (EC) began to be systematized for public use when the European University Institute in Florence in Italy was chosen as the deposit location for the archive. After the coming into effect of the Maastricht Treaty in 1993, the EC Archives were renamed as the EU Archives. Through the cooperation of the national archives of the each Member State of the EU with this EC Archives common norms regarding deposit were developed. This archives is a veritable gold mine for serious research into all and any official aspect of the institutional and policy history of today's EU, so for the formation of common European identity. The denazification process using the evidence of the archives contributed to the orientation of the New Germany towards Europe. The German archives then have been contributing to the redressing the past to a significant degree since after the Second World War. More recently, the establishment of the "Memory, Responsibility, and Future" Foundation in 2000 in Germany made possible cooperations with the archives of the East European countries and especially for the purpose of the providing evidence about former enforced workers under the Nazi regime. There has thus been developed European-wide networks among archives. These developments have furthered the common redressing of the European past and this process in turn has been contributing the enhancing the European spirit and identity. The thesis of this paper then is that historical research based on the EU archives and individual Member States can not only illuminate in great detail the stages of the history of European integration to date. The dissemination of such research can itself contribute to the process of the spreading of supranational ideas beyond Europe to other regions of the world.
