MMORPG 커스터마이징에서 젠더에 대한 플레이어 태도 연구 (Study on Player Attitudes Regarding Gender in the MMORPG Customization Process)

  • 아바타의 젠더는 MMORPG 플레이어의 아이덴티티를 구성하는 기본 요소로서, 게임 특성상 플레이어가 스스로 창조할 수 있는 커스터마이징 시스템을 갖추고 있어 아바타 젠더에 관해 현실과는 다른 태도를 보임을 알 수 있다. 가상공간에서 젠더 커스터마이징은 자신을 보다 다양하게 표현하고자 하는 아이덴티티의 확장이라고 보아야 할 것이다. 다수의 유저들은 젠더스와핑된 아바타를 관리하고 있으며 특히 남성이 여성성의 아바타 페르소나를 선호하는 것으로 조사되었다. 본 연구에서는 Q 방법론를 통해 플레이어의 젠더에 관한 태도를 분석하고, 그 과정에서 젠더스와핑의 일반화 현상 및 동기 요인을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구 자료는 MMORPG 커스터마이징 시스템의 사용성 평가를 위한 중요한 기준으로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

주택문화관의 브랜드 아이덴티티 표현특성에 과한 사례조사 연구 (A Case Study on the Expression Characteristics of Brand Identity in Housing Cultural Center)

  • The essence of brand identity is to draw an interrelation between user and brand based on user's desire. The housing cultural center is focused on brand identity for satisfaction of user. The purpose of this study is to inquire out the expression characteristics of brand Identity in housing cultural center according to analyze previous studies and case studies. The results of this study are summarized as follows. 'Uniqueness' is directly expressed through brand name or logo or through brand colors. 'Experience' is expressed as auditive expression through stimulation using a body and providing music. 'Relationship' has provided a communication environment or created relationship with brand by leading interaction with others. 'Estheticism' has increased visual satisfactory level by aesthetically sublimating lighting direction or form. 'Functionality' is expressed by providing various programs through smooth flow plan and grafting with the latest technology. 'Non-dailiness' has affected memory territory by inducing curiosity and astonishment through space modification or new and contrasting direction. The housing cultural center needs to be planned as a space where interaction of user and brand will be initiatively activated sensationally and psychologically by pursuing user-oriented brand identity.

  • Opening special dental office like prosthetic, orthodontics and implant is getting popular from the specialization and ramification on dental service. It shows how changes onpeople's point of view on dental offices as a business and high interesting on aesthetic. The child dental office also specialized from 1990s. It had been divided by not sort of sickness but ages of children. Thus it should support not just basic functions what other dentist of vice does but also comfortable environment to guide children patients' behavior who get afraid easily. However the interior of existing the child dental office was more focused on visual decoration but consideration of space. Thus the space is very superficial and plain, so there is limitation to give suitable environment to children patients. Therefore, from this study, I will research what is the proper space to control children patients' behavior based on well balance of space and decoration designs. Also from the research, I will explain fundamental design ideas on the child dental office space.

  • As the idea and function of the 'Model House' alters, so does the name - 'Housing Exposition' or 'Housing Cultural Center'. Its function Is not only to show and sell but to educate, promote and show culture. It works as a 'communication ground' about house. With the growing number of the Housing Cultural Center and the importance of function, major construction companies are building it competitively to connect the relationship with clients by expanding service. However, despite the necessity of 'Housing Cultural Center' is increasing, function and component of the Housing Cultural Center are yet defined and also specific direction of design, consumer services and programs are not properly established. Also, they are promoting and selling in lots only for a limited period which have problem in clients to participate and know about the characteristics of each companies promotion. Most of Housing Cultural Centers are similar in concept, shape, color use. The purpose of this research is to analyze the Housing Cultural Center with spacial and visual elements that comprise Housing Cultural Center, and study identity factors, distinct characteristics and build identity of the Housing Cultural Center. Ultimately, companies need to put forth to make difference in their own identity and apply it effectively in order to firmly establish identity.

  • There can be two definitions of modern ideal medical surroundings. One is medical services satisfied patients' with their desire and the other is places suited to remedy realized by rational operation. Particularly, in case of dental service, there is a need for an effective regard of moving lines and there are many rooms for a dental service belonged to a curer and not a curer. So a design has been developed by many concerns. flow do we proffer more familiar and comfortable places to both a curer and not a cuter. Nowadays, the design is making progress to the unprecedented and up-to-date direction. I would suggest a general plan used by a nature of an original art for this design. The design used by a nature between human beings and things is able to induce comforts and intimacies. So to speak, I would like to remove artificial design and keep up organic lines, shapes and forms of a nature like it is. This study grasps the organizational limitation of this design and the visual characteristic of organic forms used by harmonious image of a nature and a new way is applied to limited medical places, a dental service, based on the study. Also, I'm go to examine the meaning and worth of a new design and suggest the direction of it.

  • It wouldn't be exaggerating to say that we're living in a "Brand age" these days. Brand is easily spotted anywhere around our surroundings, influencing us in a material and a moral way. BI(Brand Identity) which brings increase on sales by constructing and improving the brand image, are infect visually compressed Identity designs that will give the interior space that have applied it, superiority in building a unified image. Then, graphic plays an important role in expressing Identity designs visually. These days, interior space graphic is an emotional field that can materialize images, which became an important expressing medium that offers various images and creativity and show interior space's brand identity. In this manner, space graphic that applies identity designs, clearly states brand's intentions on space communication and users by designing company images or brand's emotional factors visually and dimensionally. Also, it escapes plane level, and gives space, dimensional and kinetic elements, which can give differentiation with other brand's space. These kinds of flexibility let space graphic be used efficiently in extending space identity.

  • 영상 정보는 시간적 질서화를 통해 시각적 리듬(Visual Rhythm)으로 느껴질 수 있다. 영상 분석의 기본 단위인 샷은 다양한 시간적 조합을 가지며 관객의 심리적 느낌에 영향을 준다. 여기에 등장인물의 시점샷은 심리적 긴장을 조절하며 스토리의 밀도를 조절한다. 이러한 변에서 샷 지속시간과 시점샷의 상관관계 분석은 시각적 리듬 연구에 도움이 될 수 있다. 분석 대상은 스릴러 장르 작품 중 아이덴티티(Identity)를 선정하였다. 이 작품은 오프닝 시퀀스 분야의 거장인 카일 쿠퍼(Kyle Cooper)의 작품이다. 이 분석 결과는 상징적이고 함축적인 영상 언어의 표현에 도움이 될 수 있다고 사료된다.
