미국에서 한때 베스트셀러를 기록했던 "자연요법"이란 책을 쓴 앤드루 웨일이 세계 각지의 민간요법을 조사하기 위해 아마존 오지의 주술사를 찾았다. 그러나 추장과 의사의 일까지 맡고 있던 이 주술사는 개발에 밀려 훼손되고 있는 아마존의 열대림과 생활터전을 보호하기 위한 사회운동가로 변신해 있었다. 자연이 파괴되는 이 무서운 현실 앞에서 우리도 아마존의 주술사처럼 변신과 전업을 꾀해야 하지 않을까 생각이 든다.

This study aims to elucidate the characteristics of big tech platform companies' sports content business in an environment of rapid digital transformation. Specifically, this study examines the market structure of big tech platform companies with a focus on Amazon, revealing the role of sports content within this structure through an analysis of Amazon's sports marketing business and provides an outlook on the sports content business of big tech platform companies. Based on two-sided market platform business models, big tech platform companies incorporate sports content as a strategy to enhance the value of their platforms. Therefore, sports content is used as a tool to enhance the value of their platforms and to consolidate their monopoly position by maximizing profits by increasing the synergy of platform ecosystems such as infrastructure. Amazon acquires popular live sports broadcasting rights on a continental or national basis and supplies them to its platforms, which not only increases the number of new customers and purchasing effects, but also provides IT solution services to sports organizations and teams while planning and supplying various promotional contents, thus creates synergy across Amazon's platforms including its advertising business. Amazon also expands its business opportunities and increases its overall value by supplying live sports contents to Amazon Prime Video and Amazon Prime, providing technical services to various stakeholders through Amazon Web Services, and offering Amazon Marketing Cloud services for analyzing and predicting advertisers' advertising and marketing performance. This gives rise to a new paradigm in the sports marketing business in the digital era, stemming from the difference in market structure between big tech companies based on two-sided market platforms and legacy global companies based on one-sided markets. The core of this new model is a business through the development of various contents based on live sports streaming rights, and sports content marketing will become a major field of sports marketing along with traditional broadcasting rights and sponsorship. Big tech platform global companies such as Amazon, Apple, and Google have the potential to become new global sports marketing companies, and the current sports marketing and advertising companies, as well as teams and leagues, are facing both crises and opportunities.

Users are provided infrastructure such as CPU, memory, network, and storage as IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) service on cloud computing environments. However storage instances cannot support the maximum storage capacity that SQL servers can use, because the capacity of instances provided by service providers is usually limited. In this paper, we propose a method of securing mass storage capacity for SQL servers by sharing network disks with limited storage capacity. We confirmed through experiments that it is possible to secure mass storage capacity, which exceeds the maximum storage capacity provided by an instance with Amazon EBS on Amazon EC2 Windows environments, and it is possible to improve the overall performance of the SQL servers by increasing the disk capacity and performance.

최근 대표적 글로벌 유통기업인 미국의 아마존과 중국의 알리바바가 전 세계적으로 가장 큰 시장점유가 있으며 두 기업의 국내진입 시 국내 유통산업에 큰 영향을 미칠 것으로 예상한다. 두 기업은 온라인 기업이 오프라인 기업을 흡수 합병함으로써 새로운 가치를 창출해내는 O2O (Online to Offline) 추세가 국제적으로 진행되고 있다. 아마존과 알리바바와 같은 글로벌 유통업체들은 일본, 인도와 같은 타 국가로의 세계 진출을 적극적으로 하는 추세이다. 본 연구에서는 아마존, 알리바바와 같은 글로벌 유통업체가 세계 진출의 일환으로 국내 유통시장 진입 시, 노출된 글로벌 경쟁 속에서 국내 유통기업들의 사업전망을 예측해보고, 해당 예측에 기반하여 기업 차원의 전략적 대응방안 및 정부 차원의 정책 지원방안을 마련하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 시장 현황분석을 기반으로 하여, 미래 시장예측 방법으로써 무작위로 추출된 난수(Random Number)를 이용하여 원하는 방정식의 값을 확률적으로 구하기 위한 알고리즘(Algorithm) 및 시뮬레이션(Simulation)의 방법인 몬테카를로(Monte Carlo, MC) 방법론을 사용하여 국내 유통시장의 변화를 예측하여 본 연구를 진행하였다.

This study is the first official report on the wild habitats of alien species, Yellow-spotted Amazon River Turtle (Podocnemis unifilis) in Republic of Korea. On July 24, 2020, two P.unifilis were observed basking on rocks at 33°30'20.08"N 126°38'0.23"E, Waheul-ri, Jocheon-eup, Jeju-si, Jeju. One individual had a yellow spots on the head where as the other contains black spot. Our observatory site is close to road and easy access to people. Thus, these individuals were believed to be released in the pond after raising as pets. Recently, the number of alien turtles identified in wild(etc. lake, resevoir) is increasing, which is predicted to damage the aquatic ecosystem due to the inflow of exotic turtles. So, it is necessary to improve the people's awareness of alien species through citizen science projects and environmental education. We suggest that research on habitat adaptation, reproduction and management through continuous monitoring is needed in the future.

A 6-month-old orange winged Amazon parrot (Amazona amazonica) was presented for evaluation of weight loss, anorexia, and abdominal distension for two months. Clinical and laboratory examinations revealed evidence of hepatic failure, including transudative ascites, increased serum serum aspartate aminotransferase and bile acids, and decreased albumin-to-globulin ratio. Hepatic fibrosis with bile duct hyperplasia and chronic hepatitis was diagnosed by liver biopsy. The cause of this condition remained unclear, but exposure to hepatotoxins was suggested.
