Coverage and System Analysis of Ground based Rader System for Space Debris Tracking (우주물체 추적용 레이더 시스템 개발을 위한 커버리지 및 체계 분석)

  • This paper analyzes the conjunction events of Korea satellites by year or kind of satellite using CSM, which is provided by JSpOC. If multiple CSM for single conjunction event are available, consistency analysis is performed using minimum range of CSM. And this paper presents the contact analysis results with space objects if there is a radar system in Korea. The effectiveness of Korea's radar system is analyzed by calculating the access time or frequency with space objects. Furthermore, we investigate the radar systems of other space agencies and find the specific parameter depending on the operating environment. Using this information, we define the requirements of radar system, which is appropriate the Korea.

A Comparative Analysis of Field Surveying Vegetation Data and NDVI from KOMPSAT-2 Satellite Imagery (KOMPSAT-2 위성영상을 이용한 정규식생지수와 현장식생 자료의 비교분석)

  • In this study we tried to compare and analyze KOMPSAT-2 NOVI and vegetation coverage(VC) which is investigated by fieldwork. To standardize KOMPSAT-2 NOVI, we adjusted NOVI using reference data which is atmospheric corrected MODIS NDVI. Each vegetation coverage point data was surveyed in field using portable GPS and compared with NDVI of satellite imagery. As a results, there was high level of correlation in vegetation coverage and NOVI.

  • Early 1920s, Joseon film production began with Japanese colonial rule organization and expanded into civilian. These films were influenced by the documentary film what recorded the scenery and the custom also influenced by kino drama that displayed the place of a dramatic incident. So these films developed into the form emphasize on place. At that time, hollywood serial films were popular. So the first Joseon films shooted a picturesque place and a landmark of the city in the background where heros took a risk. In the style stakes, Joseon films looked very similar to Japanese films. shooted long-take and long-shot, it had rhythm with narration of benshi and emphasized on visual excitation by using color. Early 1920s Joseon films which were similar to Japanese films changed from Japanese style to Hollywood style caused by Na woon-kyu's .

  • As high-resolution satellite images have enabled large scale topographic mapping and monitoring on global scale with short revisit time, agile sensor orientation, and large swath width, many countries make effort to secure the satellite image information. In Korea, KOMPSAT-2 (KOrea Multi-Purpose SATellite-2) was launched in July 28 2006 with high specification. These satellites have stereo image acquisition capability for 3D mapping and monitoring. To efficiently handle stereo images such as stereo display and monitoring, the accurate epipolar image generation process is prerequisite. However, the process was highly limited due to complexity in epipolar geometry of pushbroom sensor. Recently, the piecewise approach to generate epipolar images using RPC was developed and tested for in-track IKONOS stereo images. In this paper, the piecewise approach was tested for KOMPSAT-2 across-track stereo images to see how accurately KOMPSAT-2 epipolar images can be generated for 3D geospatial applications. In the experiment, two across-track stereo sets from three KOMPSAT-2 images of different dates were tested using RPC as the sensor model. The test results showed that one-pixel level of y-parallax was achieved for manually measured tie points.

  • This thesis is a summary of the research result about the 20 seconds official trailer requested from the Pusan International Film Festival organizing committee. Since producing digital content is very significant at this moment, I tired to make an official trailer for 13th Pusan International Film Festival by integrating 3D animation with ink-and-wash painting. Motivated by a western-style painter, Shin Chang Sic's painting,' Arirang_HopeⅠ(An Official poster), I got to know how to express ink-and-wash painting by using digital technique and considering ink stick depth, line control and color elements for modeling, shading and rendering stage.

  • Reliability is defined as a probability that a system will operate properly for a specified period of time under the design operating conditions without failure. Reliability-Redundancy Optimization Problem(RROP) involves selection of components with multiple choices, redundancy levels and redundancy strategy(Active or Standby) for maximizing system reliability with constraints such as cost, weight, etc. Based on the design configuration of Multi-Spectral Camera(MSC) system of KOMPSAT-2, the mathematical programming model for RROP is suggested in this study. Due to the nature of RROP, i.e. NP-hard problem, Parallel Particle Swarm Optimization(PPSO) algorithm is proposed to solve it. The result of the numerical experiment for RROP is presented as instance of recommended design configuration at some mission time.

An Accuracy Analysis of the High Resolution Ortho Image by Generation Technique of Digital Elevation Model (수치고도모델 생성 기법에 따른 고해상도 정사영상 정확도 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the ortho image quality change according to the generation technique of Digital Elevation Model(DEM) based on the digital map. First of all, two different types of DEM were generated using contour layer(Case1), contour layer and altitude layer(Case2) from the digital map on the scale of 1/5,000. After generating and evaluating two types of DEM, KOMPSAT-2 ortho images were generated by using them. In conclusion, Case2 DEM was more effective to use in the slope and switchback area, on the other hand, Case1 DEM was much better than Case2 DEM for preventing a topographic distortion in flat area.

  • 본 연구에서는 인공신경망 기법을 이용하여 산사태 발생원인에 대한 가중치를 구하였다. 여름철 집중호우시 산사태가 많이 발생하는 강원도 강릉시 사천면 사기막리 와 주문진읍 삼교리에 해당한다. 산사태가 발생할 수 있는 요인으로 지형도로부터 경사, 경사방향, 곡률, 수계추출을, 정밀토양도로부터 토질, 모재, 배수, 유효토심, 지형을, 임상도로부터 임상, 경급, 영급, 밀도를, 지질도로부터 암상을, Landsat TM 영상으로부터 토지이용도와 추출하여 격자화 하였으며, 아리랑1호 영상으로부터 선구조를 추출하여 l00m 간격으로 버퍼링 한 후 격자화 하였다. 이렇게 구축된 산사태 발생 위치 및 발생요인 데이터 베이스를 이용하여 인공신경망 기법을 적용하여 산사태 발생 원인에 대한 상대적인 가중치를 구하였다. 인공신경망의 역전파 알고리즘을 이용한 사기막리 지역과 삼교리 지역의 산사태 가중치를 보면 GPS를 이용한 현장조사와 위성영상을 이용한 변화탐지 기법모두의 경우모두와 훈련지역을 실제 산사태 발생 지역과 경사도가 0°인 지역, 실제 산사태 발생 지역과 Frequence ratio를 이용하여 작성한 취약성도에서 산사태 발생이 낮을 것으로 예상되는 지역, Frequence ratio를 이용한 취약성도에서 산사태 발생이 높을 것으로 예상되는 지역 과 낮을 것으로 예상되는 지역의 경우에서도 경사도는 1.5~2.5배정도 높은 상대적 가중치를 나타냈다. 이러한 가중치는 산사태 취약성도를 작성하는데 활용될 수 있다.

Orbit Determination of LEO Satellite using Ground Tracking Data (지상국 추적 데이터를 이용한 저궤도 위성의 궤도결정 특성 분석)

  • This paper analyzes the orbit determination results using azimuth and elevation angle from ground tracking data, which has the standard data interface format, GEOS-C. The ground tracking data is very useful for initial orbit determination after a satellite launch. In this paper, the quality of the measurement data has been investigated using a variety of real tracking passes, compared with the high precision orbit data of KOMPSAT-2. The accumulated tracking data from consecutive satellite-ground passes is processed for orbit determination using least square method. The accuracy of orbit determination result is also presented.
