학령전기 아동의 역할 놀이를 이용한 손 씻기 프로그램 개발 및 효과 (Development and Effects of a Hand-washing Program using Role-playing for Preschool Children)

  • Purpose: A hand-washing program using role-playing was developed for preschool children and tested to verify its usefulness. Methods: The participants were 46 preschool children (experimental group, 23; control group, 23). Data were collected from August 7, 2017 to September 20, 2017. The first posttest was carried out on the day after the initial intervention was completed, and the second posttest was performed after a month. Data were analyzed using the $x^2$ test, Fisher exact test, Shapiro-Wilk test, Mann-Whitney test, and Friedman test. Results: In the experimental group, the frequency of practicing hand-washing was significantly higher than in the control group on the next day (z=-4.94, p<.001) and after a month (z=-3.15, p=.002). The accuracy of hand-washing was significantly higher in the experimental group than in the control group on the next day (z=-4.02, p<.001) and after a month (z=-3.86, p<.001). Conclusion: The hand-washing program developed in this study was found to be an effective intervention strategy for improving the frequency and accuracy of hand-washing among preschool children.

어머니의 불안정 애착성과 유아의 놀이성 간의 관계에 대한 어머니의 놀이중심지지 신념의 조절효과 (The Moderating Effect of Mothers' Play Support Beliefs on the Relation Between Mothers' Insecure Attachment and Children's Playfulness)

  • 본 연구는 어머니의 불안정 애착성과 놀이중심지지 신념, 유아의 놀이성 간의 관련성을 알아보고 어머니의 불안정 애착성과 유아의 놀이성 간의 관계를 어머니의 놀이중심지지 신념이 조절하는지 확인하였다. 연구 대상은 서울, 경기, 충청 지역에 소재하고 있는 유치원과 어린이집에 재원 중인 만 3세, 4세, 5세 유아 254명과 그들의 어머니와 담임교사이다. 어머니의 자기보고 자료와 담임교사가 측정한 유아의 놀이성 자료를 분석한 결과, 어머니의 불안정 애착성은 어머니의 놀이중심지지 신념 및 유아의 놀이성과 부적인 상관을 보였으며, 유아의 놀이성 중에서 사회적 자발성과 즐거움의 표현과 부적 상관이 있었다. 그러나 어머니의 놀이중심지지 신념은 유아의 놀이성, 특히 신체적 자발성 및 즐거움의 표현과 정적 상관을 보였다. 또한, 어머니의 불안정 애착성과 유아의 놀이성 간의 관계에 대한 어머니의 놀이중심지지 신념의 조절효과에 있어서 유아의 즐거움의 표현에서만 어머니의 놀이중심지지 신념의 조절효과가 나타났다. 그러나 유아 놀이성의 다른 하위요인과 놀이성 전체에 대해서는 조절효과를 보이지 않았다. 본 연구의 결과는 어머니가 놀이의 중요성을 인식하는 것이 어머니의 불안정 애착성이 유아의 즐거움의 표현 능력과 관련된 놀이성에 미치는 부정적 영향력에 대한 완충 작용을 할 수 있음을 보여준다.

  • This study developed a teacher training program aimed at promoting preschool teachers' competence in relation to pretend play and examined its effects on the teachers' knowledge, efficacy and interaction in pretend play. Regarding the learner's job characteristics and conditions, a small group session of 90 minutes per week was conducted for 8 weeks. To examine the effects of this program, the researcher collected data on the teachers' knowledge and the efficacy by means of questionnaires and the teachers' interaction by observation before and after the program execution. The fourteen child care centers were randomly assigned to both an experimental group or a control group, in which 38 teachers were included. In conclusion, the pretend play competence training program for preschool teacher was observed to be effective in improving their knowledge, efficacy and interactions in pretend play.

  • 치료적 효과에 대한 선행연구의 분석 결과로 게임놀이치료가 ADHD, 틱장애, 의사소통 발달 장애, 자폐성 등과 같은 장애를 가진 아동의 주의집중력, 과잉행동 및 틱증상 감소, 언어적 의사소통 증가, 부적절한 사회적 행동 감소 등과 같은 사회 정서 발달에 효과적인 것으로 보고되었다. 본 연구는 아날로그와 디지털을 병합한 디지로그 방식의 놀이치료 컨텐츠를 개발하고자 한다. 이는 일반인을 비롯하여 치매노인, 지적장애인등의 치료에도 효과적인 방법이라 판단이 된다. 또한 아날로그 놀이와 디지털적 요소들을 융합하여 유아 스마트폰 중독이 초래하는 문제점을 방지하기 위한 디지로그적 관점의 새로운 놀이 시스템을 개발하고자 한다.

  • 선택적 함구증을 보인 6세 아동의 놀이치료 과정을 통해 나타난 정신역동 및 치료과정을 발달학적 관점에서 소개하였다. 비지시적 지지적 놀이치료를 실시하였고 치료자와의 관계속에서 환아는 놀이를 통하여 단계적으로 발달과정을 재경험하여 분리 불안 및 유기공포를 극복하고 자율성을 회복하므로써 증상의 소실과 함께 정상적 외디푸스시기의 발달을 이루게 되었다.

미국 유아원 아동의 미디어 시청과 상상놀이성간의 관계 (The Relationships Between Use of Visual Media and Imaginative Playfulness in American Preschool Children)

  • Ecological predictors of imaginative playfulness were researched to test relationships among preschoolers' individual characteristics, socioeconomic status, their visual media use, and their imaginative playfulness. Data were collected from 202 primary caregivers and head teachers in childcare centers in Michigan, U. S. A. Use of visual media was coded by the program categorization of Anderson et al. (2001) and the Television and Movie Violence Rating Scale (Huesmann et al. 2003). Imaginative playfulness was rated by the adapted Playfulness Scale (Barnett 1990). Results of hierarchical regression showed that child characteristics of age and gender predictors contributed to their imaginative playfulness. On the other hand, children's visual media use and socioeconomic status of their families did not predict their imaginative playfulness.

그룹홈 아동의 사회적 유능성 증진을 위한 집단 치료놀이 프로그램 효과 (The Effect of a Group Theraplay Program for Improving Social Competence of Children in Group Homes)

  • A group theraplay program for improving social competence of children in group homes was composed of 24 sessions. The researcher and a therapist accessed 5 children living in a group home and conducted one session each week for 6 months from May to September. Before the application of the program, a pre-test was conducted using evaluation measures of attachment stability, social competence, and children's behavioral problems. A post-test was performed after the end of the program and a follow-up test was carried out to determine the long term effects of the program. Results showed that the group theraplay program improved attachment stability and social competence of children in group homes and was effective in changing problem behaviors.

부모자녀놀이치료 프로그램이 부모자녀 상호작용에서의 공감 및 문제행동에 미치는 효과 - 분리불안아동을 대상으로 - (The Effectiveness of Filial Therapy on Empathy in Parent-child Interaction and Problem Behavior of Children with Separation Anxiety Disorder)

  • This study examined the effectiveness of the Filial Therapy program for children with Separation Anxiety Disorder (SAD). Subjects were 8 mother-child dyads each in the experimental and comparison groups. Mann-Whitney U-test and the Wilcoxon Matched-Pairs Signed-Ranks Test were performed following the therapeutic program. After application of the Filial Therapy program, results showed that, compared to the control group, (1) parents of SAD children in the experimental group significantly increased their level of empathic interactions with their children. AND (2) the experimental group children significantly reduced level of somatic complaints, anxious/depressed, and social problems. Conclusions were that Filial Therapy is an effective program for improvement of parent-child relationship of SAD children but not for changing problem behavior of SAD children.

아동 또래 놀이행동 척도(PIPPS)의 국내적용을 위한 타당한 연구 (Validation of the Penn Interactive Peer Play Scale for Korean Children)

  • Participants in this study of the validity and reliability of PIPPS (Penn Interactive Peer Play Scale; Fantuzzo et al., 1998) for Korean children were 248 5-to 6-year - old children and 11 teachers. Instruments included the Peer Rating Scale(PRS; Singleton et al., 1979), Social Competence and Behavior Evaluation (SCBE; LaFreniere & Dumas, 1995), and Preschool Behavior Questionnaire (PBQ; Behar & Stringfield, 1974). The structure of PIPPS resulted in 3 factors, 'play disruption', 'play interaction', and 'play disconnection' with 30 items similar to the original PIPPS factors. Validity was evidenced by inter-correlations among sub-factors and by correlations between PIPPS and criterion measures. PIPPS scores were validated by ratings from PRS, SCBE and PBQ sub-areas scores. Cronbach's a reliability of PIPPS factors ranged from .88 to .92.

위축된 아동의 치료놀이(Theraplay) 상호작용 : 현상학적 관점을 중심으로 (Phenomenological Study on Theraplay Interaction with an Withdrawal Child)

  • The purpose of this study wasto understand Theraplay interaction and to find out how Theraplay works to bring about change in withdrawn children. In exploring the meaning of Theraplay interaction, I used a phenomenology, which looked reflectively into a child's experience. Examining the situation, I found that the child had changed by "touch" with a therapist, which had been done throughout thewhole process of therapy. The child had changed from "child with horny body" to "playful child." Furthermore, I realized the four meanings (of what?) through research: "encounter", "reconstruction", "responsibility", and "immersion." Those four meaningscould have made the subject of interaction go beyond and look for its own existence. In addition, those four meanings melt together in the phenomena of interaction. There were always those four meanings throughout Theraplay interaction. This study has presented different consequences, compared to Theraplay research that is based on effectiveness, and examined the process of change that includes position tendency.
