국내 시공능력평가는 15위이지만 해외고급건축 시공실적 1위로 국내보다 해외에서 그 명성이 높은 쌍용건설이 시공 능력 뿐만 아니라 안전관리분야에서도 새로운 지평을 열어가고 있다. 안전관리로 대한민국 이미지까지 상승시켜주고 있는 쌍용건설은 2009년 대비 2010년 재해율 80%라는 놀라운 감소율을 보이며 올해 건설안전계의 다크호스로 떠오르고 있다. 앞으로 국내에서도 1위 쌍용건설로 급부상하기 위해 가치로 두고 있는 것이 바로 안전관리다. 이들 안전관리를 총 진두지휘하는 사령본부 안전환경부를 찾아 쌍용건설만의 안전관리에 대해 들어보았다.

장장 15년에 걸친 재건축 과정을 통해 부산시 동래구 사직동의 명품 아파트로 재탄생한 쌍용 예가, 5층짜리 56개 동, 2270가구짜리 옛 사직 주공 연탄 아파트 단지를 2947가구의 초대형 단지로 재건출해 사직동의 랜드마크로 발돋움한 쌍용 예가를 다녀왔다.

The cement industry emits a large amount of CO₂, and 60~65% of the CO₂ is generated from calcination of raw materials. So, the CO₂ from cement industry can be reduced by substituting decarbonated materials for limestone. In this study, the chemical composition and grindability of three types of steel slag were evaluated and the application of those materials will be examined for the production of low heat portland cement.
