The film House of Hummingbird intersects Korean modern history and personal history through the eyes of a teenage girl, and closely explores how patriarchy and Korean capitalism leave traces and internal impressions on the growing up of the female subject. This film is a meaningful text in terms of showing what changes can occur when the subject is transformed from a boy to a girl in the narrative of growth and when a feminist point of view is entered. House of Hummingbird reveals the weakness of the patriarchal symbolic order through the gaze of a teenage girl in the episodic narrative composition, and also discovers the possibility of close relationships and bonds between women in the gaps. In particular, Yeong-ji, the main character girl Eun-hee's Chinese language school lecturer, is a new female character that has never been seen in Korean teenage films. As a result, in House of Hummingbird, we meet a new female subject who negotiates the pain of growth in a 'good enough' condition.

본 연구는 청소년소설을 중심으로 소녀들의 자살 심리를 연구하였다. 청소년소설에 나타난 소녀들의 자살 심리는 십대들이 자살하는 다양한 심리와 크게 다르지 않다. 예컨대 도피 심리, 논의된 결과는 다음과 같다. 자기처벌심리, 보상심리, 보복심리 등이 나타난다. 때론 청소년들은 자신이 원하는 것을 얻기 위해 자살소동을 벌이기도 한다.

This study was performed to analyze the trends of teen-aged children's daily hassles, the difference of maladjustment according to daily hassles level and to investigate the influence of variables on maladjustment of teen-aged children. The main results of this study were as follows: 1. The mean score of study-related daily hassles were higher than other daily hassles type. 2. Depression, over-anxiousness and delinquency were significantly different according to daily hassles level. 3. The findings of multiple regression analysis shoed different variables in according to maladjustment type.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the rate of pregnancy, abortion, delivery and contraceptive use and the relationship between the related factors and the early coitus among Korean teenagers. Method: The subjects of this study were 12,733 teenagers age 13-19 years in 7 major cities and 9 provinces in Korea. Data was collected from 2 Oct., to 28 Oct., 2000 and analyzed by using SPSS 10.0 Program. Results: The results showed pregnancy rate 4.5%, delivery rate 0.5%, abortion rate 0.4%. Adolescent girls who experienced coitus relatively went to vocational school, coeduaction school, night school in the general characteristics (p=0.000). Adolescent girls who experienced coitus tend to go to video room (18.5%), go the singing room (60.7%), the bar (54.8%), petting with the partner during the dates. There were overlapping juvenile delinquencies such as drinking (89.2%), pornography (65.3%), bond inhalation (2.7%), leaving homes (43.7%), smoking (14.5%), cyber sex (70.8%), phone sex (12.9%). Adolescent girls who experienced coitus were more suffering from Wangtta (26.1%) than who had not. They showed significant positive attitudes toward coitus; such as feeling of excitement (6.6%), nature (37.9%), beauty (8.7%). On the other hand, they had more guilty (2.8%) than the inexperienced (p=0.000). The main factors relating to early coitus were 'to confirm love' (46.9%), 'afraid of rejection' (32.2%). They think the benefits of coitus were 'more intimacy with boyfriends' (20.6%), 'satisfaction of curiosity' (16.8%). The losses on coitus were 'worry about pregnancy' (73.7%) and 'unability to refuse sexual contacts' (28.7%) Conclusion: It could be concluded that it is necessary to plan different sex education programs according to general characteristics and delinquency behaviors of teenage girls in Korea.

최근 성에 대한 잘못된 정보와 성적행동을 조장하는 유해 환경 속에서 많은 학생들은 심각한 피해를 입고 있으며 성폭력 및 성범죄, 십대임신 등이 사회 문제화되고 있다. 또한 사회발전과 생활문화의 향상으로 초등학교 학생들의 신체적 정신적 성숙이 빨라져 오는 상황에서 체계적인 성교육을 통하여 성에 대한 올바른 지식과 바람직한 태도를 함양하여 성 문제를 사전에 예방할 수 있는 성교육의 필요성이 가정뿐만 아니라 학교에서도 강조되고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 초등학교 고학년 발달단계에 맞는 성교육 내용을 바탕으로 고학년 교육과정과 연계하여 재구성하고, 학부모 상담실 등을 만들어 웹상에서 학부모간 또는 교사와 학부모가 다양한 방법으로 연계하여 학생들의 성교육 실시할 수 있는 웹기반 성교육 시스템을 구안하고자 한다. 교사와 학부모의 지속적인 연계를 통한 웹기반 성교육 학습을 동해 학생들의 성에 대한 지식과 태도가 긍정적으로 변화될 것이다.

All elementary, middle, and high schools have many Personal Computers(PC) by educational information policy, and their computers have been applied to the school education. However, it is difficult to manage the PCs, and it cost to maintain the PCs and PCs must be upgaded and replaced each four years. In order to solve these problem, I propose the method of using the terminal server. This method can make the software and PC hardware maintain easily, and reduce the maintenance fee, need not upgrade and replace the new PCs.

The focus of this research was to understand the socio-demographic characteristics, pregnancy conditions, social support, and future plan of teenage unwed mothers in Korea. Among the unwed mother, the teenage group was a higher percentage (53.7%) than the over-twenties group (46.3%). In the distribution of teenage unwed mothers, the major part, 94.6%, was in the 16- to 17- year-old age range, and 5.4% were under 15 years of age. This indicates that the age of unwed mothers is getting lower. Most teenage unwed mothers were from intact(72.3%) and/or low-class(62.3%) families. A significant percentage (37.7%)was from middle- and upper-middle class families, signifying that teenage pregnancy is not a problem only of disadvantaged and lower class families. The education of one-third of the teenage unwed mothers in this study was only up to first year of middle school(7th grade), indicating that pregnancy may be a reason they dropped out of school.

The purpose of this article is to study the aspects of transformation of Treasure Island(1883), Robert Louis Stevenson's novel in two feature animations (1987) of Osamu Dezaki and (2002) of Ron Clements and John Musker by analyzing characters. In the original novel, as a typical wicked villain and traitor, Long John Silver functioned as an obstacle in Jim Hawkins' Bildungsroman. And Osamu Dezaki laid great emphasis on the friendship between Jim and Stiver His might be an excellent example of the faithful adaptation. But in Disney's , from initial mistrust, to friendly co-worker, to mentor and protege, and finally, to mutual rescuers, Jim and Silver have created a permanent bond that can never be broken - their coming together has changed both their lives forever. Jim's voyage of searching for treasure is not just for the discovery of material riches unimaginable but also for the discovery of his own true worth. Making the Sliver/Jim relationship more focused, Jim ends up discovering not just an obvious treasure; he discovers an inner treasure. From this viewpoint, this feature film could be an outstanding transformative adaptation.
