This study conducted voluntary focus group user observations to empirically validate the efficacy of the self-developed psychological support mobile application, "Mindful Now". The app is structured as an interactive game format, enabling individuals to activate self-awareness of mindfulness states anytime, anywhere. It consists of a 3-step process of sensory/emotional/consciousness awareness, facilitating the expression of non-judgmental awareness. To demonstrate the effectiveness of this mindful activation in enhancing psychological well-being such as happiness and stress reduction, voluntary mindfulness mobile app usage was tracked among 49 university students. The results revealed significant improvements, with a 14.4% increase in SWLS happiness index and a 17.1% decrease in PSS-10 stress levels among 12 users who used the app continuously for over 60 days to practice mindfulness awareness. Particularly, higher app engagement was observed among students who initially reported relatively lower indices before using the app. The utilization of mobile apps that promote mindful activation aligns with various therapeutic paradigms based on mindfulness and meditation, contributing to advancements in digital therapeutic interventions for psychological support.

This study conducted a survey from September 5 to 30, 2020 targeting 415 workers participating in regional self-sufficiency center programs in four locations in Daejeon and Daegu. The purpose of the study was to examine oral symptoms of the study subjects and the effects if psychological anxiety parameters on oral health and quality of life. As a result of the study, oral dryness, temporomandibular joint symptoms, and periodontitis all had a significant effect on oral health and quality of life, and psychological anxiety factors had a partial mediating effect. The subjective oral symptom problems led to a negative psychological state, which could further impair the quality of life. In the future, the results of this study can be used as basic data for expanding psychological counseling programs for self-supporting workers and improving oral health policies for regular oral health education.

The purpose of this study is to provide basic data for the oral health and obesity management of adults by grasping the relationship between obesity and oral health. Among the patients who visited the dental clinic, 229 patients who agreed to fill out questionnaires were analyzed by self - filling questionnaire. Body mass index and waist circumference were used for the study of obesity. Body mass index and poor periodontal health status were significantly higher(33.3%) and abdominal obesity and poor periodontal health status were 10.9%.Abdominal obesity was significantly higher(28.6%) in the group with less than 20 teeth. Body mass index and abdominal obesity were higher in body pain, psychological discomfort, physical abilities, psychological abilities, social disadvantage, and oral health than in normal subjects. As a result of correlation analysis with obesity index, it was found that the more period of obesity, the more periodontal disease and mucosal state related symptoms appeared(p<0.05). Therefore, in order to solve health problems such as obesity, it is necessary to recognize the importance of oral health and to make efforts to induce positive oral health behavior.

Real estate market prices are determined by various factors, including macroeconomic variables, as well as the influence of a variety of unstructured text data such as news articles and social media. News articles are a crucial factor in predicting real estate transaction prices as they reflect the economic sentiment of the public. This study utilizes sentiment analysis on news articles to generate a News Sentiment Index score, which is then seamlessly integrated into a real estate price prediction model. To calculate the sentiment index, the content of the articles is first summarized. Then, using AI, the summaries are categorized into positive, negative, and neutral sentiments, and a total score is calculated. This score is then applied to the real estate price prediction model. The models used for real estate price prediction include the Multi-head attention LSTM model and the Vector Auto Regression model. The LSTM prediction model, without applying the News Sentiment Index (NSI), showed Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) values of 0.60, 0.872, and 1.117 for the 1-month, 2-month, and 3-month forecasts, respectively. With the NSI applied, the RMSE values were reduced to 0.40, 0.724, and 1.03 for the same forecast periods. Similarly, the VAR prediction model without the NSI showed RMSE values of 1.6484, 0.6254, and 0.9220 for the 1-month, 2-month, and 3-month forecasts, respectively, while applying the NSI led to RMSE values of 1.1315, 0.3413, and 1.6227 for these periods. These results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed model in predicting apartment transaction price index and its ability to forecast real estate market price fluctuations that reflect socio-economic trends.

Sounds of electrically powered vehicle components such as window lift system, roller blind, etc., are required to be more comfortable and not to irritate the people emotionally. In this paper, a study was conducted to identify the significant sound quality metric and compose the luxuriousness sound quality index of electrically powered vehicle roller blind which is part of vehicle sunroof system. Before conducting subjective evaluation, sound characteristics of roller blind was analyzed and set the target operating sound for subjective evaluation. Thus, transfer sound of roller blind which has the characteristics of sound modulation was used for subjective evaluation. Multiple linear regression analysis was carried out by chosen Zwicker's metrics which are pointed by comments of jurors. Loudness and sharpness related metrics are prime metrics in luxuriousness sound quality index we composed. Also, effect of roller blind assay when it is attached to real vehicle was identified to evaluate the validity of index.

The purpose of this study is that developing the index which evaluate sound quality of door latch and improving its sound quality through that results. For that, various operating sound of door latch was used for jury test. Loudness and sharpness related metrics are dominant in sound quality index we developed. This research investigate the main transfer path of its operating sound through sound field visualization and get conclusion that could reduce the impact sound of door latch. Therefore, we could verify sound quality improvement of modified product by using sound quality index.

A questionnaire survey is conducted to identify the middle school students' abilities to recognize the proportional symbolic maps. After analyzing the data from the respondents, three facts could be concluded. First, the trends of under-estimation are represented as the power function and the degree of under-estimation is increased as the sequence of line, square, circle, sphere symbols. Second, the estimations of symbol size are effected by the number of symbols in the legend(3, 5, 7), the presentation methods of legends(linear, nested), and the system to scale the symbol size(mathematical, perceptual). Lastly, the size of symbols on the map tends to be over-estimated comparing to the symbols in the legend, and the differences between the first year and third year students to recognize the proportional symbol maps are not identified.

In this paper, we apply the NR (Noise Rating) to the evaluation of the residual noise of the window type ANC (Active Noise Control) and study the active noise controller for minimizing the NR value in rooms. We proposed a shape of a noise shaping filter of the Filtered-E LMS (Least Mean Square) algorithm that reduces the NR value within the effective operating frequency band of the ANC. The usefulness of the proposed scheme is verified by simulation and showed that the NR value of the residual noise is lower than the filters used in the conventional psychoacoustic ANC.

In this paper the start fuel index was developed to estimate ride quality of a forklift truck during the start motion. Through the consultation with test drivers, definition of start feel was made, and three parameters were selected to describe the start motion. They are engagement shock in the forwarding direction, vertical and pitch vibration respectively. To find out the relation between the measured motion and the subjective fueling, both the subjective rating and the measurement of vehicle motions were performed simultaneously. The correlation analysis between the two kinds of results showed start fuel was expressed by the measured accelerations with accuracy and reliability, Use of the new index has advantages of not only evaluating start fuel only by the measured signals but providing the consistent results which are not affected by physical and mental state of a test driver. Usefulness of the new index was confirmed by verification test on four new forklift trucks of a same model, which showed the order of preference by the index was coincided that by subjective evaluation.

In this paper, we propose a design method of Active Noise Control (ANC) that reduces perceived level of the residual noise. A FELMS (Filtered-E Least Mean Squares) algorithm is used for the ANC system and the NC (noise criteria) is applied as an evaluation criterion of the residual noise. With this structure, we present the allowable spectral shape of the noise shaping filter that minimizes the NC index within the effective operating frequency band of the ANC, and showed that the filter satisfying in the criterion has a lower NC value than the psychoacoustic-based filter used in the previous studies.
