본 논문은 MPLS 망과 MPOA 망을 ATM을 이용하여 심리스 연결이 가능한 연동 방안을 제시한다. MPOA의 Shortcut VC와 MPLS의 레이블을 이용한 LSP가 IP 룩업 지연을 최소화하고 심리스 연결을 가능하게 하였지만, 이들을 연동하기 위해서는 연동 노드의 IP 룩업이 필요하므로 종단간의 심리스 연결을 위한 연동 방안이 필요하다. MPLS 망과 MPOA 망의 심리스 연동을 위해 치들의 연동 기능을 이용한 연동 방안과 함께 MPLS의 레이블 값과 ATM VC의 VPI/VCI를 이용하여 LIB에 연동기능을 구성한 심리스 연동 방안들을 제시하고 비교 분석한다.

For high-speed Internet services, considerations on interworking methods are required for interworking between networks with different technologies. lnterworking and structures in interworking point nodes can affect on transfer efficiency. This paper proposes interworking procedures and functions of the edge routers for overhead reduction in MPOA-MPLS networks. The MPLS networks can be based on ATM technology. Therefore, we consider ATM seamless connections for the interworking and compare the proposed method with that without seamless connection. We perform computer simulations to get both of the transfer delays and throughputs for the comparison., we describe required interworking functions and operations in the edge routers.

Seamless connection can be a good solution to reduce processing delays in interworking points, a possible big burden to the data transmission in Internet. This paper, therefore, will present several interworking methods which can minimize the delays through seamless connections in interworking between MPOA networks, usually ATM-LANs, and MPLS networks, mainly Internet backbones. We compare characteristics of those networks, propose requirements for interworking, and describe three Interworking methods. Proposed Interworking methods reduce end-to-end transmission delay for seamless connection between ATM VC and LSP, as decreases the number of IP lookup processing in LER. We describe detailed process and characteristic of each interworking method, And we analyze and compare end-to-end delay, using Jackson's network theorem, of proposed interworking methods.

본 연구에서는 여러 대의 저해상도 프로젝터 영상을 결합하여 인간의 시야각을 채울 수 있는 하나의 고해상도 영상처럼 보이게 만드는 타일드 디스플레이(tiled display) 기법을 활용하여 가상 현실 기반 몰입형 시스템을 제작한다. 제안된 시스템은 총 8대의 프로젝터를 이용해 4096 x 1536의 고해상도 화면을 구현하며 유효 해상도는 3200 x 1200을 구현하였다. 각 프로젝터 출력 영상간의 연결 이음매가 두드러지지 않는 심리스(seamless) 기법을 활용해 관찰자의 높은 몰입감을 획득할 수 있었다. 제안된 시스템에서는 반도체 CMOS 공정을 가상 현실 공간에 구현하여 다수의 학습자들에게 기존의 정적인 이미지로 전달되던 반도체 제조 공정을 보다 효율적으로 학습하도록 돕고 있다. 구성된 시스템은 일반 개인용 PC 시스템 한 대로 구현이 가능하여 상대적으로 저렴한 가격으로 시스템을 구성할 수 있어 가상 현실 기반 몰입형 기술 교육 시스템의 대중화에 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

Ubiquitous service environment is poor in reliability of connection and has a high probability that the intrusion and the system failure may occur. Therefore, in the environment, the capability of a system to collectively accomplish its mission in spite of active intrusions and various failure scenarios, that is, the survivability of services are needed. In this paper, we analyze the Jgroup/ARM framework that was developed in order to help the development of fault- tolerant Jini services. More importantly, we propose an intrusion-tolerant Jini service architecture to satisfy the security availability and quality of services on the basis of the analysis. The proposed architecture is able to protect a Jini system not only from faults such as network partitioning or server crash, but also from attacks exploiting flaws. It is designed to provides performance enough to show a low response latency so as to support seamless service usage. Through the experiment on a test-bed, we have confirmed that the architecture is able to provide high security and availability at the level that degraded services quality is ignorable.

The recent economic recession and price rise reduces excessive consumption as a whole. So companies take more interest in and use discount coupons as a means of sales promotion to reinforce their competitiveness. The combination of Internet and mobile communication technology leads to an explosive increase in the use of mobile Internet service, which promotes commercialization of mobile coupons. Nevertheless, there are absolutely insufficient researches on mobile coupons than those on paper ones. In this context, this study tries to consider intention of accepting and using mobile coupons. The innovated Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) was used to see factors of using mobile coupons considered important by customers. Through the combination of characteristics of mobile coupon service and values obtained from mobile coupons, effects of variables to enhance intention of using mobile coupons were empirically analyzed. In particular, this study suggested importance of psychological as well as economic values of mobile coupons and emphasized good considerations of the psychological aspect, such as shame, stinginess, and reputation sensitivity, in using mobile coupons as an important factor for intention of using the coupons. Another empirical analysis was made of what moderating roles consumers' self-construalplayed in the effects of mobile coupon values perceived by consumers on intention of using coupons. As a result, immediate connectivity and situational provision among characteristics of mobile coupon service were found to affect ease and usability. It was also shown that perceived ease and usability had significant effects on both economic and psychological values, which then had significant effects on intention of using a mobile system. After testing moderating effects of self-construal, the degree of effects of perceived mobile coupon values on intention of using mobile coupons was greater among inter-dependent self-construal users than among independent ones. This study considered various schemes of improving intention to use mobile coupons and provided a foundation to help companies make a strategy for mobile coupons to be activated in the future.
