Parameter Identifications of Roll Maneuvering Coefficients Based on Sea Trial Data (해상 실측 자료를 이용한 횡동요 조종 계수 식별)

  • Linear equations of motion for submersibles are one of the rest important design parameters, which are used as a governing equation for the shape design and the controller design. But, the estimated maneuvering coefficients in equations of motion by using empirical formulae, theoretical calculations or model tests might have some errors. Therefore the maneuvering coefficients should be verified from sea trial test. In this study, parallel extended Kalman filter method, Nelder & Mead Simplex method and genetic algorithm were applied to the parameter identification of roll maneuvering coefficients based on sea trial data. As a result, it was verified that Nelder & Mead Simplex method gave the most satisfactory results for the mathmatical models and the sea trial data used in this study.

  • Since the existing analog village broadcasting system has some technical problems in applying and degradations in performance due to its old equipments, it had been required to be changed to a digital system and to develop the standardization from now. Therefore, we have analyzed the service coverage in various environments in order to construct an effective digital wireless village broadcasting system. Also, a precise prediction of field strength should be set up in various propagation environments to design a digital radio stations with reliable transmit power. Using these results the received power and the propagation characteristics in various environments can be predicted to establish a standard and the testing service will be deployed in the near future.

  • We check up on whether the one-dimensional station precipitation model of Geogakakos and Bras is suitable to the storm model for Chonju station or not. The fundamental variables of the physically based model consists of the pressure at the cloud top, the hight-averaged updraft velocity(HAUV), and the inverse of the average diameter of the hydrometeors(ADH) at cloud base. And they are parameterized by input variables. The parameters are eastimated by the direct search algorithm of Hooke and Jeeves in this paper. The results show that HAUV and ADH are dominant factors to minimize root mean square error between the calculated and the observed rainfall. In this numerical analysis, the deviation between the calculated and the total observed rainfall is small, otherwise the gap for the time distribution is quite big.

  • This study were compared with the direct measurement and indirect dose methods through various dose calculation in head and wrist. And, the modified equation was proposed considering equipment type, setting conditions, tube voltage, inherent filter, added filter and its accompanied back scatter factor. As a result, it decreased the error of the direct measurement than the existing dose calculation. Accordingly, diagnostic radiography patient dose comparison would become easier and radiogrphic exposure control and evaluation will become more efficient. The study findings are expected to be useful in patients' effective dose rate evaluation and dose reduction.

Optimal Water Allocation Using Streamflow Network Model and Global Optimization Method (하천망 모형과 전역최적화기법을 이용한 저수지 용수의 최적 배분)

  • 본 연구에서는 단일목적 저수지와 다목적 댐의 최적운영을 위하여 전역최적해를 탐색하는 SCE-UA법을 사용하는 비선형계획법을 적용한 최적화 모형을 구성하고 과거 운영자료를 사용하여 모형의 적용성을 검토하고 분석하였다. 또한, 다목적댐의 운영수위 상승으로 인하여 발생하는 추가용수를 댐하류로 추가적으로 공급함에 따른 댐운영상의 문제점과 해결책을 제시했다. 관개용 단일 목적 저수지의 유입량은 하천망 모형인 SSARR 모형을 이용하여 추정하였다. 관개용 단일 목적저수지의 용수배분을 최적화한 결과, 실측치와 최적방류량간의 상대오차가 $-2.6\~10.5\%$ 범위를 나타냈으며, 비교적 실측방류량과 유사한 형태로 용수를 공급하는 길과를 나타냈다. 다목적 저수지의 최적운영을 위해 발전량, 저수량 및 필요수량의 관계를 목적함수로하는 최적화 모형을 구성하여 섬진강댐의 최적운영에 적용하였다. 섬진강댐의 댐하류 방류량 증가에 따른 운영상의 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 댐하류 유지용수량을 0.17, 0.50, 0.70, 1.0, 1.5, $3.0m^3/sec$ 방류하는 경우로 구분하여 최적운영한 길과, 댐하류 유지용수량이 $1.0m^3/sec$ 이하인 경우에 발전량이 실적평균발전량에 근접한 결과를 나타냈으며, 용수공급량도 계획공급량인 377.4 백만 $m^3$ 보다 $28.9\~100.7$ 백만 $m^3$ 만큼 많은 양을 공급하는 결과를 나타냈다.

Application of SWAT Model for the Detection of Long-term Change of Runoff and Water Quality Data in a Watershed (유역내 유출 및 수질자료의 장기적 변화 파악을 위한 SWAT 모형의 적용)

  • 본 연구는 SWAT모형을 이용하여 지석천유역의 토지이용 및 토지피복상태에 따른 유출량 및 수질을 모의해 보았다. 대상지점은 유출량 및 수질 실측자료의 수집이 용이한 지석천유역의 말단부의 남평지점을 대상지점으로 선정하였다. 남평지점의 2002~2005년 일별 유출량 및 8일 간격 수질측정 자료와 지석천유역내에 위치한 나주댐의 방류량자료를 바탕으로 2002년 자료를 활용하여 모형의 보정을 실시하였으며, 2003~2005년 자료를 사용하여 검정을 실시하였다. 또한 세밀한 모의를 위해 지석천유역에 해당하는 나주시와 화순군의 1차 오염총량관리 시행계획 보고서를 활용하여 점오염원의 유입조건을 추가 하였다. SWAT 모형에 의한 모의결과 유량자료에 대해서는 실측자료와 모의값이 유사한 결과를 나타내고 있으나, 수질자료에 대한 모의결과는 유량자료에 대한 결과와 비교하여 상대적으로 높은 오차를 포함하고 있는 것으로 모의되었다. 이는 대상유역 내에 산재해 있는 점오염원 자료의 보다 정확한 확보와 입력에 의해 보완되어 질 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. 따라서 본 연구의 대상지점인 남평지점의 유출량 및 수질자료 모의를 위하여 SWAT 모형의 적용성이 타당한 것으로 판단된다.

  • 물수지 분석은 우리가 사용하는 물의 순환과정을 파악하여 우리 생활에 필요한 물을 안정적으로 공급하고 관리하기 위한 기초 자료이다. 물관리 기본법 제11조에도 유역 간의 물관리는 조화와 균형을 이루고 있는 기본원칙으로 설명되고 있으며 지속가능한 개발, 이용과 보전을 도모하고 물로인해 발생하는 재해를 예방하기 위해서는 유역단위로 관리되어야 함을 원칙으로 두고 있다. 최근 들어 국내에서는 강수량과 유량에 대한 조사가 급격히 발전함에 따라 정확도 높은 관측이 수행되고 있는 반면에 증발산량 같은 경우에는 경험식에 의존하여 측정자료를 산정하고 있는 실정이다. 증발산량은 눈에 보이지 않아 비교적 중요성을 인지하고 있지 못하나 강수량의 약 30~40%를 차지함으로 오차를 무시하기 어려우며 보다 정확한 관측이 필요하다. 실측으로는 증발접시가 있지만 물이 항상 차 있어야 하며, 팬의 가열, 강수 등 관측값 보정이 필요하다. 최근 기술의 발전으로 에디공분산 방법이 장비로 구현할 수 있게 되었으며 이러한 방법은 기존의 장비에서 발생되는 근본적인 문제점을 해결하였다. 특히 증발과 증산을 모두 측정이 가능하며 실제 증발산량 측정이 가능하다. 환경부에서는 에디공분산을 활용한 증발산량 관측소 13개소를 운영하고 있으며 관측소 인근 실제 유량측정하고 있는 지역과 연계하여 실측 기반의 물수지 검토를 수행해보고자 한다.

A Study on the Distance Error Correction of Maritime Object Detection System (해상물체탐지시스템 거리오차 보정에 관한 연구)

  • Maritime object detection systems, which detects small maritime obstacles such as fish farm buoys and visualizes distance and direction, is equipped with a 3-axis gimbal to compensate for errors caused by hull motion, but there is a limit to distance error corrections necessitated by the vertical movement of the camera and the maritime object due to wave motions. Therefore, in this study, the distance error of maritime object detection systems caused by the movement of the water surface according to the external environment is analyzed and corrected using average filter and moving average filter. Random numbers following a Gaussian standard normal distribution were added to or subtracted from the image coordinates to reproduce the rise or fall of the buoy under irregular waves. The distance calculated according to the change of image coordinates, the predicted distance through the average filter and the moving average filter, and the actual distance measured by laser distance meter were compared. In phases 1 and 2, the error rate increased to a maximum of 98.5% due to the changes of image coordinates due to irregular waves, but the error rate decreased to 16.3% with the moving average filter. This error correction capability was better than with the average filter, but there was a limit due to failure to respond to the distance change. Therefore, it is considered that use of the moving average filter to correct the distance error of the maritime object detection system will enhance responses to the real-time distance change and greatly improve the error rate.

Comparison and Analysis on the Geophysical data Using Bathymetric Surveying Product (해저지형 측량성과를 이용한 지구물리자료 비교분석)

  • The information of ocean topology is the fundamental source which is necessary for understanding the ocean, producing nautical charts and delimiting maritime boundaries. An echo sounder is being used generally to collect undersea bathymetric data, but an indirect method such as geophysical data acquired by satellites is being used recently. In this study, the outputs of ocean surveying for the production of the Basic Maps of the Sea in 1996 and 1997 in the East Sea and the bathymetric data produced by geophysical data are compared and analyzed. The study areas are Ulleung Plateau, Ulleung Basin and the southern area of Ulleung Basin which have different geophysical characteristics. Through this study, we found that the bathymetric data acquired by an indirect method using satellite is similar to the field surveying results in general configuration of ocean floor and average depth. However, the minimum square error is about 100m in 1700m depth, and it has been observed a local error up to 1000m. In addition, it has been found that the detailed undulation of ocean topology is shown on the gravity data which is acquired by the research vessel.

A study of estimation for excess attenuation of Noise propagated on the ground (지표면상을 전파하는 소음의 초과감쇠 산정방법에 관한 연구)

  • This study is to explain the characteristic of excess attenuation on the ground through the outdoors experiment about noise propagation and the reduced model experiment of acoustic. The outdoors experiment on the attenuation of noise propagation was tried with the small engine that had large acoustic output, and then it was conformed that there was relationship between the excess attenuation calculated by measurement from distance attenuation and Log(D/(Hs+Hr)). As a result, it was found that the attenuation of noise propogation depended upon the direction of the wind and frequency and was regressed in a straight line. And the numerical values of excess attenuation on the ground could be calculated by regarding Log(D/(Hs+Hr)) as a parameter with an airing resistance $\sigma$. It was found that when the mean square error between the excess attenuation calculated by measurement and the value calculated by a fomula $L=-20Log\mid1+(r_1/r_2)Qexp(ik, \bigtriangleup r)\mid$ about optional $\sigma$ was least, the optimal decision of u was made. As the characteristic of model is the model experiment on a reduced scale of 1 to 40, It was conformed that it corresponds enough with the measurement value with measuring the distance attenuation in the large anecoic chamber.
