The effect of beauty lifestyle on the quality of life of middle-aged women skincare workers (중년여성의 뷰티라이프스타일이 삶의 질에 미치는 영향)

  • This study is to investigate the effect of beauty lifestyle on the quality of life of middle-aged women. For this study, 417 middle-aged women aged 35-65 years living in Seoul, Gyeonggi, Gwangju, Sejong, and Daejeon were conducted from February 27, 2021 to March 14, 2021. As a result of this study, the correlation of quality of life of middle-aged women according to beauty lifestyle was positively correlated in the order of show-off type, appearance-seeking type, practicality-seeking type, and fashion-seeking type. In addition, it was found that the practical pursuit of beauty lifestyle and the pursuit of show-off affect the quality of life of middle-aged women. Therefore, it is necessary to develop customized communication information and marketing strategies for beauty products based on the ambivalent perspective that pursues economic efficiency and luxury for the practical and flaunting types that can have a positive impact on the quality of life of middle-aged women.

Preference of Neck-tie Pattern Designs according to Male Consumers' Fashion Life Style (남성소비자들의 패션라이프스타일에 따른 넥타이 문양디자인 선호)

  • The purpose of this study was to determine the preference and purchasing intention on necktie pattern designs according to male consumers' fashion lift style. Written questionnaires were handed out to 300 male consumers of the 20-40 years old in Seoul and surroundings, who were accessed by a convenience sampling method. The questionnaires were to classify male consumer groups according to the fashion life style, to examine characteristics, needs and wants of each group. The stimuli of 8 kinds of necktie patterns in black & white, and the semantic differential scale were applied to evaluate the preference and purchasing intention on necktie pattern design. A total of 265 samples were analyzed by factor analysis, cluster analysis, ANOVA, crosstabs and $X^2$-test through SPSS package program. Six factors in their fashion life style were extracted as follows: those were 'fashion-oriented', 'traditional conservative', 'brand-flaunting', 'personality-oriented', 'practicality-oriented' and 'unconcerned' life style. With these life style sub-dimensions, male consumers were segmented into five groups: these groups were 'strong personal seekers', 'practical brand seekers', 'traditional personal seekers', 'active fashion seekers', 'unconcerned group'. Each of these groups of male consumers showed significant differences in the preference and purchasing Intension of necktie pattern designs according to their fashion life style.

A study on the Types of Perception for the Liberal arts Education of University Students Using Q Methodology (Q 방법을 활용한 대학생의 교양교육에 대한 인식 유형 연구)

  • In this study, the Q method is used to investigate the types of perceptions of liberal arts education perceived by college students and to investigate the characteristics of each type. 33 Q samples were extracted from the Q population collected through literature research, open questionnaires, and deep interviews. Q classification was conducted for 27 students of A University located in B City. The data was analyzed using the QUANL program. In the research, the types of awareness of liberal arts education were derived as "pursuit of various experiences", "pursuit of practical studies", "pursuit of accident expansion", and "pursuit of social change". The results of this study re-establish the meaning of liberal arts education in university education and suggest that it is necessary to consider various educational contents and teaching learning methods.

Analysis of Types and Meaning of 'Good Leisure' Perceived by Married Immigrant Women of Korea (결혼이주여성이 인지하는 '좋은 여가'의 유형과 의미 분석)

  • This study is to identify the types and meaning of 'Good Leisure' that married immigrant women perceived. 32 Q samples were extracted from the interviews and questions and 40 immigrant women were selected as P samples. The conclusion are as follows; First, the types of 'Good Leisure' were classified as 4 types. Second, the type 1, 'Psychological Stability Pursue Type' recognizes 'Good Leisure' when they feel comfort and relaxed through activities. The type 2, 'Emotional Stability and Self-development Type' recognized 'Good Leisure' when they are pleased, or engaged in self-development activities. The type 3, 'Practical Use Pursue and Information Acquisition Type', recognizes 'Good Leisure' when they learn things necessary for living with less cost, and type 4, 'Acculturation and Exchange Type' recognizes 'Good Leisure' when they learn Korean culture or interact with Korean people. Third, regardless of each type, married immigrant women perceived in having a good time with people as 'Good Leisure'.

  • With the rising popularity of food shows driven by the development of information and communication technologies, food-incorporated broadcasting programs based on various materials are produced in large numbers. This situation has raised a need for each program to examine viewers' preference factors for planning intentions in order to produce competitive programs. This study thus examined viewers' preference factors for food programs and planning intentions and discovered total three factors. The first factor places importance on practicality and entertainment and enjoys food and food programs as a means of resting. The second factor searches for specialized information and focuses on the essential meanings of food and the delivery of the right information. Finally, The third factor gets satisfaction from interactions with food programs and finds joy in storytelling and communication provided by broadcasting programs. These factors have different tendencies from one another, and the present study proposed a concept design for food broadcasting programs based on them.

Effective Advertising Direction in the post-COVID-19 Era (포스트 코로나 시대의 효과적인 광고 방향에 관한 연구)

  • COVID-19 is significantly changing consumers' demand and habits. In order to understand consumer characteristics and find effective advertising directions in the post-COVID-19 era, this study set young consumers who are more sensitive to market changes and technological transformation from a subjective perspective of advertising audiences. Through the Q methodology, the advertising development model in the post-COVID-19 era was derived exploratively by examining their cognitive status of advertisements in the post-COVID-19 era. The model consists of three types of advertisements: "demand mining online ads" that value consumer demand and adapt to online shopping paths, "added value creation experiential ads" that value derived value and consumer experiences, and "practical and sentimental value creative ads" based on pragmatism and emotional values. In addition, this study also suggested for the sustainable practice of advertising in the post-COVID-19 era in various aspects, such as "seeking multidimensional values," "expanding consumer experience," and "mining and leading demand.

소비자 특성이 무선인터넷 이용에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

  • 2000년 말 현재 이동전화기가입자 중 약 $91\%$가 무선 인터넷 가능 단말기를 보유하고 있다. 그러나 이러한 단말기의 보급에도 불구하고 무선인터넷 서비스 이용률은 매우 저조란 실적이다. 여러 가지 이유가 있겠지만 그 중의 하나로서 본 연구는 소비자 특성인 무선인터넷 이용에 미치는 영향에 초점을 맞추었다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 다음과 같은 연구 문제를 설정하였다. 1)무선인터넷 이용에 영향을 미치는 소비자의 인구통계학적 특설변수는 무엇인가? 2) 무선인터넷 단말보유자는 라이프스타일에 따라 어떻게 유형화되는가? 3) 무선인터넷 단말 보유자의 유형별 특성은 무엇이며 무선인터넷 인용에 있어서 어떠한 차이가 존재하는가? 이 문제에 대한 답을 구하기 위해 본 연구에서는 전국의 무선인터넷 단말기 보유자 1500면을 대상으로 일대일 면접방식으로 설문을 실시하였다. 분석결과 인구통계학적인 변수 중에서는 연령과 직업, 결혼여부, 학생, 개인용돈 등인 무선인터넷 이용에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 분석결과를 종합적으로 요약해 볼 때 무선인터넷 서비스를 이용하고 있는 소비자들의 인구통계학적인 특징은 학생 중심의 젊은층이었다. 한편 성별이나 가족의 월수입은 무선인터넷 이용여부에 통계적으로 유의란 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 라이프스타일에 따라 무선인터넷 가능 단말 보유자 집단을 세분화해 본 결과 선구자형, 실용성추구형, 보수추구형, 자기과시형 둥 네 유형으로 분류할 수 있었으며, 집단 간에 무선인터넷 이용에 있어서 유의한 차이가 있음이 나타났다.

Consumer Values Derived from Products by Consumers: Difference among the Four Types of Products Classified with Product Attributes and Visibility (소비자가 제품에서 추구하는 소비자가치: 제품 속성과 가시성에 따른 4가지 제품유형을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to understand consumer values derived from products by the contemporary consumers, as the meaning of a product is extended from the functional utilities to the mediums of fulfilling consumer values. Consumer values have been researched from the marketers' perspectives and, thus, the scales to measure consumer values tend to be too abstract and not always reflective of the consumers' perspectives. Holbrook's typology of consumer values is utilized and the products are classified into four groups according to the product characteristic of the utilitarian versus hedonic, and the consumption spaces of the indoor and outdoor. The findings are as follows. First, the values of efficiency, excellence, ethics, and spirituality are more likely derived from utilitarian products, while the value of play is more likely derived from the hedonic products. Second, the values of efficiency, excellence, and ethics are more likely derived from the indoor products, and values of playfulness, esthetics, status, and respect are more likely derived from the outdoor products. Third, the most frequently mentioned values are the efficiency, playfulness, and status. Fourth, the list of products answered as being representative for four types of products are short to include obvious products such as TV, mobile phone, computer, car, refrigerator, and MP3 player. Both the utilitarian and hedonic values are derived from TV, computer, and mobile phone, while the utilitarian value from refrigerator and car, and the hedonic value from MP3 player, digital camera, and game consoles. The results imply that consumer values should be carefully understood and reflected in developing new products in order to successfully fulfill consumers' underlying needs and requirements.

A Mathematics Tutoring Model That Supports Interactive Learning of Problem Solving Based on Domain Principles (공식원리에 기반한 대화식 문제해결 학습을 지원하는 수학교수 모형)

  • To achieve a computer tutor framework with high learning effects as well as practicality, the goal of this research has been set to developing an intelligent tutor for problem-solving in mathematics domain. The maine feature of the CyberTutor, a computer tutor developed in this research, is the facilitation of a learning environment interacting in accordance with the learners differing inferential capabilities and needs. The pedagogical information, the driving force of such an interactive learning, comprises of tutoring strategies used commonly in various domains such as phvsics and mathematics, in which the main contents of learning is the comprehension and the application of principles. These tutoring strategies are those of testing learners hypotheses test, providing hints, and generating explanations. We illustrate the feasibility and the behavior of our propose framework with a sample problem-solving learning in geometry. The proposed tutorial framework is an advancement from previous works in several aspects. Firstly, it is more practical since it supports handing of a wide range of problem types, including not only proof types but also finding-unkown tpes. Secondly, it is aimed at facilitating a personal tutor environment by adapting to learners of varying capabilities. Finally, learning effects are maximized by its tutorial dialogues which are derived from real-time problem-solving inference instead of from built-in procedures.

A Study on Image Preferences of Fashion Product According to Life-Style Groups -Focused on Middle-Aged Women between 35 and 59 Years Old- (라이프스타일 유형에 따른 패션 제품의 이미지 선호도(제 1보) -35$\sim$59세 중년 여성을 중심으로-)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate fashion product image evaluation according to life-style groups of middle-aged women. The subject of investigation was 352 middle-aged women from 35 to 59 living in Daegu by random sampling method in April and May, 2005. The investigation was carried out by questionnaires which were composed of 3 sections: Fashion product image measure, Life style research and demographic variables(age, academic background, occupation, monthly clothing allowance, monthly income). The statistical methods to analyze the data were frequency, percentage, average, factor analysis, cluster analysis, ANOVA, Duncan's multiple range test. The results are summarized as follows: 1. As a result of factor analysis for fashion product image, the four factors including noble image, bold image, practical image, female image were extracted. 2. Middle-aged women were classified into four life-style groups including tradition oriented group, negative oriented group, activity oriented group and appearance oriented group. 3. Significant differences in fashion product image preferences according to life-style groups were found. Tradition oriented group preferred noble image and practical image. Negative oriented group tended to pursue practical image. Activity oriented group pursued a bold image. Appearance oriented group liked a noble image the best and then noble image, bold image in order.
