A Study on Management Condition and Improvement of Artificial Greens in GBCS-Certified Apartments through the Post Occupancy Evaluation (POE를 통한 친환경건축물 인증 공동주택 인공환경 녹화 관리 실태 및 개선방안 연구)

  • This study aims to suggest ways to improve sustainability on housing complexes. This study sampled eight housing projects in Seoul and GyeongGi-Do in Korea, which were completed in June 2007 and June 2008. Then, are retention and maintenance on "constructed greens for ecological environment" including "green structures substitutes retaining walls", "green roofs", and "green walls." Study methods are field investigations of the sampled sites, and Post Occupancy Analysis. Major findings were; 1) "constructed greens" are not well retained in more sites and and this implies the GBCS(Green Building Certification System) does not meet its objectives well, 2) User showed lower user satisfaction to "constructed greens". User satisfaction concerning "green structures substitute retaining walls" was higher than the satisfaction on the other constructed green type. Satisfaction Assessment Criteria lower 1han average were "level of quality", "meet the design objectives", "vegetation management status", "vegetation maintenance". 3) User satisfaction was strongly correlated on the level of quality factor of "constructed green". In addition, tue other factors are the significant correlations between the satisfactions. The present GBCS has inadequate assessment standards for maintenance, which lead to lower the entire satisfaction. Therefore, periodic recertification system, education and information providing for the managing personals, and incentives for good maintenance or disincentive for poor maintenance of the "constructed greens" are suggested to improve the GBCS.

A Study on the Influencing Factors for the Establishment of a Public Asset Management System Based on AHP-ISM (AHP-ISM기반의 공공자산관리 관리체계 영향요인 도출 연구)

  • Many studies have been conducted on asset management of public facilities, as the importance of such management has been increasing. This basic study aims to present strategies for the practical use of public asset management, and seeks to propose efficient management and utilization measures from a cost perspective by comparing and analyzing the importance and impact relationship between cost items for public asset management. In this study, 19 sub-items and the top 4 items were chosen by deriving cost factors based on the previous literature. A survey was conducted, and the results of the survey were analyzed by using the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) and Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) methods. The AHP was used to derive the priority between items, and ISM was used to identify major groups and mutual influences. As a result, those items showing both high priority and high importance, such as user cost, dismantling/disposal cost, replacement cost, maintenance/repair cost, etc. are determined as priority items to be considered for public asset management of public facilities. Also, it is necessary to minimize the impact on other items in public asset management by those items which are impacted less by other items but have significant impact on the items such as initial construction costs, conceptual design costs, construction costs, and supervision costs. It is expected that the results and analysis methods presented in this study can be used to provide strategies for asset management of public facilities.

  • 최근 여러 대학기관에서는 신입생 및 재학생을 대상으로 인성, 학업, 진로에 관한 다양한 프로그램을 기획하여 실시하고 있다[1,2,3] 그 중 멘토링(mentoring) 프로그램은 대학교육 체제를 강화할 수 있는 방안으로 대두되었다[4,5]. 하지만 대부분의 멘토링 교육은 오프라인으로 진행됨으로 시간과 공간의 제약이 발생한다. 이 점을 해결하고자 e-mentoring이 제안되었다[6,7]. 그러나 기존의 e-mentoring에서는 멘토 와 멘티 와의 능동적인 의견 수렴에는 효과적이나 멘토링에서 요구되는 강좌의 지원 어렵다. 대안으로 LMS(Learning Management Solution)를 이용한 강좌 지원이 제안되기도 하였으나 학습관리 및 평가에 초점이 맞추어진 기존의 LMS와 멘토링교육은 그 성격부터가 차이가 있다. 따라서 본 논문은 다양한 멘토링 강좌를 지원하며, 멘토와 멘티사이의 능동적인 의견 수령이 가능한 독립형 e-mentoring시스템의 설계와 구축을 통한 그 기능과 장점을 확인하며, 실제 멘토링프로그램에 적용하여 평가하였다.

  • 전력산업에 당초 도입 예정되었던 도매경쟁시장을 운영지원하기 위하여 전력거래소는 지난 2002년 도매경쟁 전력시장 운영시스템(Two Way Bidding Pool Market Operation System; TWBP MOS, 이하 전력시장운영시스템)을 구축하였다. 그러나 이후 배전분할 잠정 중단정책에 따라 구축 완료된 시스템은 실 업무에 적용해보지도 못한 채 폐기될 수도 있는 상황이 발생하였다. 하지만 전력거래소는 배전분할 잠정 중단에 따른 발전 경쟁시장(CBP; Cost-Based Pool) 장기화에 대비, 운영상의 효율성을 개선하고 기 개발된 전력시장운영시스템을 활용하여 급전체계를 개선하는데 성공하였다. 실시간 급전 운영을 위해 기존 EMS에 전력시장운영시스템을 연계하여 전력시장운영시스템의 5분 단위 수요 예측량을 기반으로 송전망 제약과 예비력 요구량 등을 고려한 발전기별 경제부하 배분량 및 예비력 배분량을 결정하고, 추가적으로 EMS에서 수요예측 오차 및 주파수 보정량을 실시간으로 계산하여 발전기별로 배분하도록 함으로써, 1일 전 시행하던 급전계획을 취득 자료를 기반으로 5분 단위로 실시간 계산할 수 있도록 급전 개선하였다. 이를 통해 실시간으로 에너지와 예비력을 동시에 최적화함으로써 전력시장 및 전력계통 운영을 한층 선진화 할 수 있는 계기를 마련하였으며 또한 저비용 발전기 사용을 극대화함으로 발전비용의 절감에도 기여하는 효과를 가져왔다. 이러한 긍정적인 효과에도 불구하고, 전력시장윤영 시스템은 구축된 모든 설비 및 프로그램을 당초 목적에 맞게 활용하지 못한다는 이유 등으로 시스템의 최적화 및 성능 개선에 대한 투자가 망설여지는 현실이다. 특히 온라인 실시간 시스템과 별도로 전력시장운영을 모의 할 수 있는 시뮬레이터가 구축되지 않아 시장의 흐름을 사전 예측하거나 시스템 오류 등을 재현하여 재발 대책 등을 마련하기가 매우 어려운 실정이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 그동안 쌓아온 전력거래소의 전력시장운영시스템 운영관리에 대한 다양한 경험을 바탕으로 구축비용을 획기적으로 절감할 수 있는 전력시장운영시스템 시뮬레이터의 구축방안을 제시하고자 한다.

An Improved Process System to File a Claim in Construction Projects (건설공사 시 클레임 제기를 위한 프로세스 시스템 개선 방안)

  • Judging from the past cases, the contractor has frequently suffered losses caused by disapproved requests or reduced payments since it has not known the conditions of the contract or it has filed a claim to the owner without any proper claim system. Therefore, the existing claim process needs to be reformed. In order to reform the claim process, the contractor should consolidate the organizational structure, grant accurate duty assignments to the claims manager, implement regular staff training on how to deal with claims. In addition to this reformation, the contractor needs to improve the management of construction period and process control, and manage related documents thoroughly. Regular meetings are also necessary in claims. This study attempts to prove the effectiveness of the reformed process applied to Project "A", where the owner was responsible for the delayed supply of materials, inaccurate oral instructions, insufficient information on the work, and frequent changes of design. The project was completed in 96 months, which was extended by 34 months from the initial construction period of 62 months. The reformed claim process is expected to be of great help not only to largescale construction works but also to smallscale ones.

  • 대부분의 국방정보시스템의 소프트웨어는 높은 가용성, 신뢰성, 신속성, 정확성 등을 요구하는 대규모이면서 복잡한 실시간 시스템이다. 이러한 국방정보시스템의 소프트웨어 개발사업에 있어서 저비용 고효율의 미개국방경영 건설을 위하고 강한 전투력을 육성하기 위해서는 국방정보시스템의 효율적인 소프트웨어 개발사법이 요구된다. 따라서, 국방정보시스템의 소프트웨어 사업관리자가 개발사업을 관리하고 감독하는데 있어서 개발자와 사용자간의 조정 및 통제 기능을 수행하고 해당 국방정보시스템의 특성을 파악하여 성공적인 사업수행을 할 수 있도록 기술적인 사업관리 측면에서 구체적이고 상세화된 방안/지침을 제공하기 위한 전문가시스템의 지식베이스 도메인 지식개발에 관한 연구이다. 기존의 국방정보시스템의 사업관리자가 경험을 동해 축적해 온 기술, 정책, 아이디어, 노하우 등에 대한 지식을 습득하고 사업 관련자료에서 제시한 소프트웨어 생명주기 단계별 방안이나 지침 등을 바탕으로 하여 식별된 사실이나 내용을 지식베이스로 구축하여 국방정보시스템의 사업관리자가 필요로 할 때 설명모듈을 거쳐 임무 및 세부활동사항을 게시하여 줌으로써 사업관리 경험이 부족하거나 사업관리자가 교체되었을 때 사업관리자들이 업무를 지속적으로 연계시켜 임무수행이 가능하도록 기초/기반 여건을 제공하고자 한다. 본 논문은 국방정보시스템의 소프트웨어 개발사업에서 소프트웨어 생명주기 단계별 사업관리자의 임무 및 세부활동사항 지원용 전문가시스템을 개발할 때 이용할 수 있도록 도메인 지식을 개발하는 것이며 논문의 결과를 활용시 기대되는 효과는 본문을 참고 바란다.의 장점을 취합하여 설계되었다. 본 시스템은 기존의 UN/EDIFACT표준을 사용하고 있는 EDI환경과 기존 VAN 방식의 EDI 중계 시스템과 연동되며, 향후 관세청의 XML/EDI 표준 시행을 미리 대비하는 선도연구로서 자리매김이 된다. 본 연구에서는 개발된 XML/EDI 통관시스템은 향후, 서비스의 최대 걸림돌이 되어왔던 값비싼 EDI 사용료의 부담에서 벗어날 수 있게 할 것이며, 저렴한 EDI구축/운영 비용으로 전자문서교환의 활성화와 XML이 인터넷 기반의 문서유통 표준으로 자리매김할 수 있는 중요한 계기가 될 것이다.재무/비재무적 지표를 고려한 인공신경망기법의 예측적중률이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 로지스틱회귀 분석의 재무적 지표모형은 훈련, 시험용이 84.45%, 85.10%인 반면, 재무/비재무적 지표모형은 84.45%, 85.08%로서 거의 동일한 예측적중률을 가졌으나 인공신경망기법 분석에서는 재무적 지표모형이 92.23%, 85.10%인 반면, 재무/비재무적 지표모형에서는 91.12%, 88.06%로서 향상된 예측적중률을 나타내었다.ting LMS according to increasing the step-size parameter $\mu$ in the experimentally computed. learning curve.   • This study (II) aims to draw up the future-oriented construction policy recommendations based on the outcomes as a result of a broad research and conducting questionnaire surveys on the arguable issues raised by construction engineers for roads and bridges in the course of previous study (I) implementation. As for the question of "The term 'Construction Management (CM)' which currently is defined in two (2) ways", 45% of respondents have answered that two (2) different types of CM should be unified into one (1) CM type as is the case in most advanced countries. About the question of "The ways to educate the CM professionals", many respondents have preferred to acquire CM professional certificate after receiving education for a certain period of time from private CM training institutions. As for the question of The revised draft that the ICEC grade of special engineers for design, construction and quality control areas shall be "more than 78 points from a more than 75 points by the original draft." 52% of respondents preferred to maintain the original draft. About the question of "The reason why the CM system has not been working well yet." 62% of respondents have answered that the staff members who are in charge of handling public project procurements are concerned about the fact that their roles (or activities) might be deprived as a result of CM adoption. In order for the CM system to be activated, based on the notion that the construction projects must be out soured, the reshuffle of the headquarter organization of Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transportation (MLIT) should be preceded.

A Study on Improvement Plans for National Archives of Korea Website's Search Service through Its Usability Evaluation (국가기록원 웹사이트 검색서비스의 사용성 평가를 통한 개선방안 연구)

  • Archives should provide a web-based archival information service with good usability based on the understanding of users' needs. Thus, this study analyzed the usability of the National Archives of Korea (NAK) website's search service through expert and usability evaluations for various users and suggested improvement plans. A literature review, heuristic evaluation, one of the usability expert evaluation methods, and usability evaluation for users were performed. As a result of expert evaluation, the severity rating for the usability problem was highest regarding a match between the system and real world and the lowest in error prevention. In the usability evaluation, it was assumed that the user's background and whether the website's help was provided is associated with usability. Usability evaluation was conducted for 22 participants, including those majoring in records management, web/application developers, and people without such backgrounds. Furthermore, a presurvey, a five-second test, and search tasks were conducted in a row. The analysis based on usability components in ISO 9241-11: 2018, i.e., effectiveness, efficiency, and satisfaction, showed that web/application developers had the highest search effectiveness, and those majoring in records management showed high effectiveness only in the search for archival content services. Background factors did not affect efficiency, and the more familiar with the finding aids, the better the efficiency. Moreover, providing the website's help was found to be positively associated with effectiveness and satisfaction. This study suggests that the NAK website will offer a user-friendly interface and search function, expand help support, and display a consistent web interface.

Local Behavior of Structural Details for Orthotropic Steel Deck Bridge with Longitudinal Rib of Open Section and Retrofitting Method of Fatigue Cracks (개단면리브를 갖는 강바닥판 교량의 국부거동 분석 및 피로균열 보강방안)

  • Although many studies have been performed for the structural details of orthotropic steel deck, most of them were focused on the trough rib of standard type, but not for orthotropic steel deck with longitudinal rib of open section used at beginning of the deck. In order to investigate the cause of fatigue crack for orthotropic steel deck bridge serviced 31 years with longitudinal rib of open section, in this study, the behavior characteristics of target structural details were analyzed based on measurement data under real traffic condition. Also the typical loading truck passing the target bridges was estimated with the structural analysis detailed, and the stresses and deformation patterns of target structural details were analyzed by performing the detailed structural analysis. Based upon the analysis, retrofitting methods of the fatigue crack were suggested and its validation was examined. From this study, it was clarified that fatigue crack of longitudinal rib with open section were affected with the stress increment by shear deformation in the rib and the occurrence of alternative stress due to moving vehicle. In addition, it was known that it is important to perform fatigue design reflected the local behavior of the structural details.

Improvement of Quantity Take-Off and BoQ through the LOD Criteria Analysis of BIM Models (BIM 모델 표현 수준(LOD) 분석을 통한 내역체계 개선방안 연구)

  • Recently, BIM has been actively introduced in construction projects. In particular, the introduction of BIM in cost estimating process is expected to improve the accuracy and efficiency of the cost estimate. However, the quantity calculation and BoQ documents preparation process still require manual work. Although the BIM model may support quantification process, it is still problematic that the level of detail of the model must be very detailed to meet the items in BoQ. To address this, it is necessary to analyse the LOD criteria and to analyze the extent to which quantity can be computed according to the level of detail in the BIM model. For the analysis of LOD-based work items, the work item grades were divided into A,B, and C. In this study, the ratio and cost of each item that can be calculated at the LOD level in the detailed design phase are reviewed for each type of work, and the method for improving the quantity calculation using BIM is proposed. In the LOD 300 stage(Detailed design stage), the largest number of items in the class B, the major improvement class, are window and glass work. In addition, the most expensive type of work was analyzed by reinforced concrete work. In the future, it is necessary to suggest appropriate improvement way for items with high item ratios and items with high cost ratios. The results of this study are expected to be used as a BIM-based cost estimation or as basic data for improving the current BoQ system.
