Vision-Based Detection System for Tunnel Incidents (컴퓨터 비전을 이용한 터널 유고감지 시스템)

  • 본 논문에서는 터널 내 유고 상황을 실시간으로 빠르게 감지하여 터널 관리자에게 상황을 전달하여 터널의 안전한 운영에 도움을 줄 수 있는 컴퓨터 비전을 이용한 터널 유고감지 시스템을 제안하였다. 제안한 시스템은 관리자, 서버, 영상 검지기로 구성되며 영상 검지기의 경우 객체를 추출하기 위하여 배경차이법을 사용하였으며, 터널 내에서 발생하는 조명의 변화, 입 출입구의 조명의 영향, 카메라의 프리컬링 잡음의 영향을 최소화하였으며, 터널 내에서 발생할 수 있는 정지물체, 차량 외 통행, 연기, 역주행, 정체 지체의 유고 상황을 감지하는 방법을 개발하였다. 제안한 시스템을 전남 여수의 마래터널 및 엑스포터널, 전북 임실의 운암터널에서 실험한 결과 터널 내에서 발생하는 유고 상황을 감지하였다.

Method of Tunnel Incidents Detection Using Background Image (배경영상을 이용한 터널 유고 검지 방법)

  • This study suggested a method of detecting an incident inside tunnel by using camera that is installed within the tunnel. As for the proposed incident detection method, a static object, travel except vehicles, smoke, and contra-flow were detected by extracting the moving object through using the real-time background image differencing after receiving image from the camera, which is installed inside the tunnel. To detect the moving object within the tunnel, the positive background image was created by using the moving information of the object. The incident detection method was developed, which is strong in a change of lighting that occurs within the tunnel, and in influence of the external lighting that occurs in the entrance and exit of the tunnel. To examine the efficiency of the suggested method, the experimental images were acquired from Marae tunnel and Expo tunnel in Yeosu of Jeonnam and from Unam tunnel in Imsil of Jeonbuk. Number of images, which were used in experiment, included 20 cases for static object, 20 cases for travel except vehicles, 4 cases for smoke, and 10 cases for contra-flow. As for the detection rate, all of the static object, the travel except vehicles, and the contra-flow were detected in the experimental image. In case of smoke, 3 cases were detected. Thus, excellent performance could be confirmed. The proposed method is now under operation in Marae tunnel and Expo tunnel in Yeosu of Jeonnam and in Unam tunnel in Imsil of Jeonbuk. To examine accurate efficiency, the evaluation of performance is considered to be likely to be needed after acquiring the incident videos, which actually occur within tunnel.

Study on Queue Length Estimation using GPS Trajectory Data (GPS 데이터를 이용한 대기행렬길이 산출에 관한 연구)

  • Existing real-time signal control system was brought up typical problems which are supersaturated condition, point detection system and loop detection system. For that reason, the next generation signal control system of advanced form is required. Following thesis aimed at calculating queue length for the next generation signal control system to utilize basic parameter of signal control in crossing queue instead of the volume of real-time through traffic. Overflow saturated condition which was appeared as limit of existing system was focused to set-up range. Real-time location information of individual vehicle which is collected by GPS data. It converted into the coordinate to apply shock wave model with an linear equation that is extracted by regression model applied by a least square. Through the calculated queue length and link length by contrast, If queue length exceed the link, queue of downstream intersection is included as queue length that upstream queue vehicle is judeged as affecting downstream intersection. In result of operating correlation analysis among link travel time to judge confidence of extracted queue length, Both of links were shown over 0.9 values. It is appeared that both of links are highly correlated. Following research is significant using real-time data to calculate queue length and contributing to signal control system.

  • COSMOS system which was developed in Seoul for real-time signal control was designed to judge traffic condition for practicing signal operation. However, it occurs efficiency problem that stop line detection and queue length detection could not judge overflow saturation of street. For that reason, following research process GPS data of Seoul city's corporationowned taxi to calculate travel speed that excluded existing system of stop line detection and queue length detection. Also, "Research of calculating queue length by GPS data" which was progressed with following research expressed queue length. It is based on establishing algorithm of judging congestion situation. The algorithm was applied to a few areas where appeared congestion situation consistently to confirm real time traffic condition with established network. Construction of an Estimation Model for Intersection Queue Length (교차로의 대기행렬 예측모형구축에 관한 연구)

  • In this research, a model was developed for estimating the queue length of vehicles, based on occupancy time of each vehicle collected by loop detectors which were setup at the upstream of urban street. The estimation model suggestes a method which minimizes architectural effects of the street, such as existence of pedestrian crossing, for future applications to the field. The estimation model suggested in this research was established based on real traffic data collected at up-stream detectors in Kangnam Subway station, Seoul, and the formula of the model is based on Multi-Polynomial equations. Consequence of the experiments showed that the model can adequately and in real-time mode measure length of the queue which were constructed at the 80 to 90 meters away from the upstream detectors. The estimation accuracy of the model was verified in statistical analysis conducted by regressing analysis and test results in real traffic situation.

  • This study is a study on improving the pedestrian Care system, which delivers jaywalking events in real time to the autonomous driving control center and Autonomous driving vehicles in operation and issues warnings and announcements to pedestrians based on pedestrian signals. In order to secure reliability of object detection method of pedestrian Care system, the inspection method combined with camera sensor with Lidar sensor and the improved system algorithm were presented. In addition, for the occurrence events of Lidar sensors and intelligent CCTV received during the operation of autonomous driving vehicles, the system algorithm for the elimination of overlapping events and the improvement of accuracy of the same time, place, and object was presented.

  • Real-time traffic detection scheme based on Computer Vision is capable of efficient traffic control using automatically computed traffic information and obstacle detection in moving automobiles. Traffic information is extracted by segmenting vehicle region from road images, in traffic detection system. In this paper, we propose the advanced segmentation of vehicle from road images using multiple local region information. Because multiple local region overlapped in the same lane is processed sequentially from small, the traffic detection error can be corrected.

  • 최근 절전에 대한 의식이 높아짐에 따라 이 문제를 해결하기 위해 많은 연구가 진행되고 있다. 본 논문은 건물 내의 인체를 검지하여 불필요한 전력 소모를 줄이기 위한 방법으로써 카메라를 통하여 실시간으로 영상을 취득하여 인체의 유무를 판단하기 위한 알고리즘을 구현하였다. 실험을 통하여 제안된 방법이 환경 변화에 강인한 특성과 인체 검출율이 우수함을 보이고자 한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 홈 헬스케어 환경에서 위험 동작이 발생할 경우 이를 검지하는 방법으로, 물체 검출을 위해 입력받은 영상으로 부터 배경모델을 생성하여 이를 이용해 관심 물체를 검출한다. 검출된 물체 영역 내에서 중심점의 주변 탐색을 통해 관심 물체를 추적하며, 관심 물체의 모멘트 분석 정보와 깊이 정보를 활용하여 정상 동작이 아닌 낙상과 같은 비정상적인 위험 동작이 발생되었을 경우 검출할 수 있다. 기존 비전 센서 기반 방법들은 2차원 영상 정보를 이용하기 때문에 다양한 낙상 동작에 대해 낮은 검출율을 보이고 있다. 이에 대한 개선책으로 깊이정보를 활용하여 검출함으로써 신뢰성있는 검출율을 보여주는 실시간 비전 센서 기반을 둔 위험 낙상 검출기를 제안한다.

A Study on Efficiency of the Real Time Signal Control Algorithm (첨단 신호제어 알고리즘의 효율성에 관한 연구(배분 녹색시간과 대기행렬 수요의 비교를 중심으로))

  • 신호화 교차로는 한정된 시간 자원을 각 접근로별로 서로 다른 수요에 적절하게 효과적으로 배분함으로써 그 운영효율이 극대화될 수 있다. 현재 서울시 기존 전자신호시스템은 검지기체계를 갖추고 있으나 주로 시간대별 제어방식(TOD제어)을 사용하고 있다. 이에 대한 대안으로 실시간 교차로신호제어시스템인 이른바 첨단신호시스템이 개발되어 서울시 강남지역 61개소에서 시범운영중에 있다. 첨단신호시스템은 접근로별 수요에 따라 녹색시간을 배분하는 방식을 적용하고 있는데, 본 논문에서는 첨단신호시스템의 운영효율성을 평가하기 위하여 실제 교통수요와 운영녹색시간을 비교·분석하였다. 그 결과로 얻은 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 방출차량에 의한 포화도의 비율을 고려하여 주기 및 녹색시간을 결정하는 첨단신호제어시스템의 알고리즘은 비포화시 직진이동류에 대한 녹색시간은 수요에 비해 과대산출운영되고 있다. 둘째, 좌회전의 경우 대기차량의 패턴이 불규칙할 때, 실시간 녹색시간제어기능이 미흡하다. 따라서, 향후에는 교통수요를 고려할 수 있는 알고리즘의 보다 심도있는 연구·개발이 요구되며, 또한 비포화 상황이 아닌 과포화 상황에도 적용될 수 있는 알고리즘의 개발이 이루어져야할 것으로 보인다.
