In this paper, as a liberal arts course for non-major students, a case study of recurrent neural network SW practice, which is essential for designing a basic recurrent neural network subject curriculum, was developed. The developed SW practice case focused on understanding the operation principle of the recurrent neural network, and used a spreadsheet to check the entire visualized operation process. The developed recurrent neural network practice case consisted of creating supervised text completion training data, implementing the input layer, hidden layer, state layer (context node), and output layer in sequence, and testing the performance of the recurrent neural network on text data. The recurrent neural network practice case developed in this paper automatically completes words with various numbers of characters. Using the proposed recurrent neural network practice case, it is possible to create an artificial intelligence SW practice case that automatically completes by expanding the maximum number of characters constituting Korean or English words in various ways. Therefore, it can be said that the utilization of this case of basic practice of recurrent neural network is high.

This paper describes the development of on-line computer vision laboratories to teach the detailed image processing and pattern recognition techniques. The computer vision laboratories include distant image acquisition method, basic image processing and pattern recognition methods lens and light, and communication. This study introduces a case study that teaches computer vision in distance learning. environment. It shows a schematic of a distant teaming workstation and contents of laboratories with image processing examples. The study focus more on the contents of the vision Labs rather than internet application method. The study proposes the ways to improve the on-line computer vision laboratories and includes the further research perspectives.

In this paper, as a liberal arts course for non-majors, we developed a basic practice case for convolutional neural networks, which is essential for designing a basic convolutional neural network course curriculum. The developed practice case focuses on understanding the working principle of the convolutional neural network and uses a spreadsheet to check the entire visualized process. The developed practice case consisted of generating supervised learning method image training data, implementing the input layer, convolution layer (convolutional layer), pooling layer, and output layer sequentially, and testing the performance of the convolutional neural network on new data. By extending the practice cases developed in this paper, the number of images to be recognized can be expanded, or basic practice cases can be made to create a convolutional neural network that increases the compression rate for high-quality images. Therefore, it can be said that the utility of this convolutional neural network basic practice case is high.

There is a growing interest in Co-operative education as an important way of university-industry collaborations for improving employment competitiveness, recruiting talented human resource, and promoting university-industry collaborations. In this study, we recognize that the paradigm of professional practice have to be changed from internship to Co-operative education. This paper examines the characteristics of Co-operative education in a regional public university through a case study of Central Washington University(CWU), USA. The results of the study and policy implications are as follows. First, the professional practice program of CWU is centered upon Co-operative education and has a high local and regional connectivity in terms of location of institutions that students work for professional practices. Second, the professional practice program of CWU has a high connectivity between majors and jobs, and is characterized by an active participation of students majoring in humanities, social sciences, arts and education. Third, the qualifications of Co-operative education are strict, but programs of Co-operative education are flexibly operated according to the characteristics of departments and colleges. We emphasize that universities in Korea need to focus upon the employment connectivity, the major connectivity, the local and regional connectivity, Therefore, when attempting to introduce Co-operative education. In addition, the management and governance of Co-operative education should be flexible.

2016년 7월~2018년 2월까지 해운회사의 상선에서 위탁실습을 다녀온 4학년 학생을 대상으로 위탁실습생의 근로실태 및 실습만족도에 대하여 설문조사를 실시하였다. 평균 근로시간은 10시간, 최소 휴식시간은 4시간 미만이 가장 많은 것으로 조사되었다. 실습 만족도에 대하여 만족 또는 보통 수준을 보였으며, 벌크선과 컨테이너선에서 실습한 학생들의 만족도가 다소 낮게 나왔다. 라면 끓이기, 휴식 중 작업, 야식 준비 등 실습 목적 외 부당한 지시를 받는 사례가 다수 있었다. 실습생은 선원법 상 선원이 아닌 자로 분류되어 있다. 이로 인해 근로시간 또는 휴식시간 등에 대해 보호를 받지 못하고 있는 것이 현실이다. 또한 일부 해운회사에서는 실습교육을 가장한 실질적 근로(노동) 인력으로 활용하고 있는 사례가 있어 이에 대한 대책 마련이 시급하다.

The purpose of this study was to develop a nursing management case simulation (NMCS) framework based on the five components of nursing management process and to apply it to clinical nursing practice of nursing college students. The subjects of this study were NMCS reports submitted by the 4th grade 105 nursing students of an university. The research tool is a simulation framework for nursing management practice. It reflects the brainstorming and debriefing process used in the previous simulation exercise based on the five elements of planning, organization, human resource management, directing and control of the nursing management process respectively. As a result of the study, 32 nursing management cases were found to have 79.6% correct rate, 11.6% concept error rate, and 5.6% classification error rate in the first brainstorming and debriefing process for the five components of nursing management process. On the other hand, in the second brainstorming and debriefing process, 94.6% correct rate, 0.0% concept error rate, and 4.4% classification error rate. Based on these results, the NMCS framework developed in this study can be applied to the nursing management theory and practice course of nursing college students as well as simulation based job training and maintenance educations for clinical nurses. Therefore, we propose follow-up studies in various clinical nursing settings and a longitudinal cohort study to investigate the effect of nursing management job skills of nursing college students after graduation.

A case study was investigated the effect of student field practice of employed worker who graduate department of New Materials & Applied Chemistry of Chungwoon University. A question sheet were composed the general information(8 terms), practice data(3 terms), trouble (10 terms) and effect (9 terms). The results of analysis 40 answer sheets among alumni of 2001 - 2004 are summarized as follows ; the problem of student field practice were rare opportunity on selection of field practice institute (enterprise) and non systemic operation of enterprise. The effect of student field practice were the relation of academic curriculum and the assist on the job guidance. The student field practice was connected on the job almost.

To qualitative improvement in addition to the quantitative growth of field placement, efforts to reduce short-term (4 weeks) and mid-term professional practice (8 weeks) and to increase the proportion of long-term term professional practice (12 weeks or more) are increasing at university sites. There are the problems: the absence of systematic and specialized field placement curriculum of the short-term and mid-term professional practice, the participation of university field placement increases, companies do not prefer to participate in its program and students hesitate to apply to long-term practice due to their major. In order to solve these problems, this paper proposes the IPBP(Industry Problem Based professional Practice) based on Gyeongbuk K University which the students solve the company's difficulties during the field placement with their professor if need. In order to build a win-win field practice culture with participating companies, we suggest that the IPBP solution field practice presented in this paper is one of the good models.

방학 중 4주간 실시하는 현장실습이 학생의 진로결정에 어떠한 영향을 미치고, 취업 후 전공과의 연계성 등에 어느 정도의 영향이 있는가?, 현장실습 수행에 따른 문제점, 앞으로의 개선방안 등을 조사 .연구하였다. 청운대 신소재응용화학과 졸업생을 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하였고, 회수된 설문 내용과 직접 현장방문으로 졸업생들을 면담한 지도 사례를 중심으로 진행하였다. 조사 연구결과 전공 관련취업자들은 현장실습이 취업과 회사 업무에 많은 도움이 된 것으로 나타났다. 보다 효율적인 현장실습이 되기 위해서 현장실습 프로그램을 운용하는 산업체에 대한 지원이 필요하다.

This study aimed to analyze the issues on practical training programs at public libraries and propose alternative strategies for them. This study discusses the theoretical bases of providing practical training programs with the recent change in curriculums of library and information studies. It also explores the current status of both practical training program courses offered by the departments of library and information science in Korea, and the operation of programs managed by 42 public libraries. This study categorizes the programs into three types, including basic task type, participatory type, and proactive type, and examines the characteristics of each type. Furthermore, it researches a case of the cooperative public library practice program, which S public library and C University jointly conduct, and analyzes students and librarians' needs who participated in the program. As a result, the study identifies all the parties' challenges and provide a gradual development strategies for the program.
