The purpose of this study was to develop 'Silver Care Expert' STEAM Program for the elementary students and investigate the effects of the program on creative thinking activity, scientific attitude and leadership. Participants were 110 elementary school students. Before and after the program, the participants were asked to take the test about future time perspective, career awareness and scientific attitude. The major results of this study were as follows. First, the total score of experimental group's future time perspective and all 2 sub-domains was significantly improved than those of comparative group(p<.05). Second, total score of experimental groups' career awareness and all 4 sub-domains were significantly increased than those of comparative group after the STEAM program(p<.05). Third, the total score of experimental groups' scientific attitude and all 7 sub-domains were significantly improved than those of comparative group(p<.05). Fourth, according to students' post-program opinions, experimental group students showed very positive perception like that science class was very interesting and they became interested in science and technology. In conclusion, 'Silver Care Expert' STEAM Program was very effective to improve elementary students' future time perspective, career awareness, scientific attitudes.

This study introduces trends on silver care implemented with the fourth industrial revolution technology, and discusses the use of digital technology for elderly health and rehabilitation by reviewing relevant literature to examine and present directions for future digital-based silver care commercialization. First, health smart home, which is a smart residential service available through digital technology or IT technology that supports independent living in your home, is available. Second, there are technical services using artificial intelligence(AI) and robots. Robots based on advanced intelligence can serve as an assistant for the health and rehabilitation of senior citizens by supporting services that enable the daily lives of senior, checking their health conditions, and high-quality medical care. For the commercialization of these silver care systems, information and services appropriate to the current situation, such as the physical ability and health status of the elderly, should be provided, and it would be desirable to gradually expand the use of essential technology to reflect the needs of the elderly in use so that the digital alienated.

Since our country is rapidly progressing from an aging society to an advanced age society, it already puts in effect basic old-age pension system, hurries training human resources like care-giver, and has ahead offering the aged long-term care insurance. But our country still needs to develop a systematic curriculum in order to train professionals that can fundamentally deal with an aging society problems. In this paper, therefore, we describe the development of a curriculum for training silver-care professionals improving qualities of old person life in order to suit to an aged society and prepare for an advanced age society. It includes a network model of a silver-care curriculum based on subject classifications according to fields and levels.

This paper aims to analyze the characteristics of healthcare REITs' performance and operation, and to examine their use for activating the silver industries in Korea. The results of this study are as follows. First, according to the results of analyzing healthcare REITs' performance, healthcare REITs outperformed average REITs and extended investment proportion compared to total REITs after 2007. This outperforming came from not only rapid growth of silver industries, but also REITs strategy using the structure of sale-and-leaseback and triple-net lease. Second, healthcare REITs use selection and concentration strategy in terms of asset sector, but use portfolio diversification strategy in terms of investment region. Third, according to the analysis results, healthcare REITs are to be useful for activating the silver industries in Korea. In this context, major implications are presented to use healthcare REITs effectively.

This paper is composed of a passenger management system using a temperature sensing module, a PIR sensor module for detecting movement inside a room, and a smart breath sensing module for determining a sleeping state. An embedded sensor module and a communication system integrated the sensing part and the algorithm driving part. As the aging society is accelerating and becoming more upgraded, the social cost of Silver Care increases, and in order to protect privacy, it is necessary to reduce costs by developing efficient smart silver care devices. The proposed non - image human body detection IOT sensor system is implemented by hardware and software and has superior performance compared with conventional image monitoring method.

통계청의 65세 이상 독거노인의 실태(통계청의 '2010 고령자 통계') 통계에 의하면, 2010년 65세 이상 노인이 홀로 사는 '노인단독가구(독거노인)' 수는 1,021천 가구로, 총 가구의 6.0%를 차지하고 있으며, 2030년에는 노인 단독가구의 비중이 11.8%에 이를 것으로 전망하고 있다. 또한 이런 독거노인들은 열악한 환경 속에서 건강문제, 경제적인 어려움, 외로움, 소외감 등 여러 가지 복지서비스적인 문제점이 나타날 보여 진다. 따라서 이 논문에서는 앞으로 점점 고령화사회로 진전이 이루어질 것으로 보이기 때문에, 독거노인의 증가로 인해 발생되어지는 문제점을 현실적으로 파악하고, 이들이 요구하고 있는 복지 수요를 대처하기 위한 실버케어시스템을 설계하여 제안한다.

Increasing the number of the solitude old person maintain a healthy lifestyle, the research for the emergency detection and life monitoring is required. In this paper, the wireless sensor network technology is utilized to design a silver-care service model in the area of emergency silver generation activities. The service model proposed in this paper acquired by using mobile devices to access silver-care service with the network information obtained through video monitoring and sensing. Also, Proposed model, based on wide-area network connected with the best wireless network of the PDA and mobile phones for the solitude old person.
