  • 가을철은 기온이 선선해지면서 사람들의 활동량이 늘어나는 계절이다. 어린이들도 학교나 가정 등, 실내외 활동이 왕성해지면서 각종 안전사고에 노출되기 쉬워진다. 특히 어린이들은 주변 사물에 대한 호기심이 크고 활동량이 많은 특징을 가지고 있으나 주의력과 판단력 등 인지능력이 아직 성숙하지 못한 까닭에 위험에 대처하는 능력이 미숙하다. 띠라서 상시 안전사고 예방교육을 통해 어린이들에게 위험요소들에 대한 주의와 대처 능력을 키워주어야 한다. 어린이들의 활동량이 늘어나는 계절 10월, 이번호에서는 어린이 안전사고 예방 교육의 중요성과 각종 안전사고 사례, 예방과 응급처치 등에 대한 특집을 마련한다.

Fire at an Indoor Shooting Range in Busan II. Causes and Fire Safety Measures (부산 실내사격장 화재 II. 원인 및 화재안전대책)

  • Fire simulation by using a computational fluid dynamics model and examination of the fires at indoor shooting ranges broken out in the past were conducted, to presume causes of the fire at the indoor shooting range in Busan and suggest fire safety measures. On-site investigations and shooting tests on unburned gunpowder were also carried out. No trace of the muzzle spark and spark at the bullet trap was found in CCTV footage, and the impact of a stray bullet failed to ignite gunpowder. Cigarette was therefore presumed to be the most likely source of ignition among the potential sources. It appeared that the explosion in the shooting area was caused by violent burning of the polyurethane sound absorber and unburned gunpowder accumulated on it. The fire safety measures include prohibit of use of profile polyurethane sound absorber, removal of steel components from bullet trap, clean up and control of unburned gunpowder, etc.

  • The transmission of the world Installed in an Office occurs through the air. Preventing that transmission, especially in indoor environments like those in airplanes, schools and offices, is a major public health concern. in this study the real situation of lab which is consist of dilution, Ultraviolet-C based air sterilization system. This model include indoor microbe transport which is generated human source. a computer simulation was performed to determine if such simulation can be used effectively to predict the more accurate, but difficult to perform, actual physical experiment. Result show that CFD can be modeled microbe transport effectively and it can be visualized microbe transport separation from flow streamline. also it make a good prediction of microbe transport.

  • Recently, the research to visualize and to reproduce evacuation situations such as terrorism, the disaster and fire indoor space has been come into the spotlight and designing a model for interior space and reliable analysis through safety evaluation of the life is required. Therefore, this paper aims to develop simulation model which is able to suggest evacuation route guidance and safety analysis by considering the major risk factor of fire in actual building. First of all, we designed 3D-based fire and evacuation model at a subway station building in Incheon and performed fire risk analysis through thermal parameters on the basis of interior materials supplied by Incheon Transit Corporation. In order to evaluate safety of a life, ASET (Available Safe Egress Time), which is the time for occupants to endure without damage, and RSET (Required Safe Egress Time) are calculated through evacuation simulation by Fire Dynamics Simulator. Finally, we can come to the conclusion that a more realistic safety assessment is carried out through indoor space model based on 3-dimension building information and simulation analysis applied by safety guideline for measurement of fire and evacuation risk.

  • 자동차 이용자 수가 증가 할수록 자동차 사고로 인한 피해도 많이 늘어나고 있다. 이러한 자동차 사고를 사전에 예방하기 위해서는 운전자의 상태 및 현재 차량 상태를 파악하여 사고를 미리 방지함으로서 운전자의 안전을 보조할 수 있는 시스템이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 안전운전을 보조하기 위하여 졸음운전 여부 감지 시스템, 후진시 후방 안전거리를 감지하는 시스템, 쾌적한 운전 환경을 위한 실내 환경 측정 시스템, 주차 시 생길 수 있는 사고에 대한 감시시스템을 센서와 MCU등을 이용한 임베디드 시스템을 구현 하였다.

A Study on Accidents Occurred in Primary Schools and on the Experimental Test of the Safety of Building Floors (초등학교의 시설물 관련 안전사고 실태분석 및 실내바닥의 거주안전성에 관한 실험적 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the improvement of the slipperiness of building floors and to test the safety in accidental collision in the primary schools. To perform this purpose effectively, the actual 20,202 cases of accident on the year 2000-2009 which had been dealt by Seoul School Safety and Insurance Association were analysed in several aspects. And to test the current slipperiness and hardness of building floors, 3 primary schools whose construction year differed were examined. This study found that among the indoor accidents of 2,646 cases on the year 2000-2002, 70.7% accidents of them were caused by slipperiness. It was also found that the building floors of the primary schools could not be safe from the result of examining the slipperiness and hardness of the building floors. As the result of this study, it showed that the desirable efficient criterion of slipperiness would be more than C.S.R 0.4, and that of safety in accidental collision would be less than Gs 100G for the safety of primary school students.

  • This study has been performed to come up with any rational way for responding to the functions of fire-fighting spaces newly required by the changing social paradigms and to seek for the approach to designing fire-fighting spaces by taking into account the psychological and behavioral factors of fire-fighters who are exposed stress of operations. In particular, it is to satisfy any physical and functional requirements as special working-spaces and to reflect the psychological and behavioral approach to the workers who are forced to be at standby for a long time, which is the characteristic of their operation, to designing. Accordingly, for fundamental appreciation of whether or not such space programs as space organization needed for operational function are being practiced actively, the fire-fighting headquarters of Incheon City has been selected for the research. First, in the process of assessing the trend of organizing the space at safety centers for the recent 20 years, those built more than 20 years ago were left out from the space selection for the research. Second, those with less than 20 operators also were excluded. Third, among those completed in the same year, only one was selected, which was to avoid overlapping, with the consideration its regional representative nature for applying the safety centers in the jurisdiction of the headquarters equally. The study was performed through the visits to and the actual inspections by surveys at the selected 119 Safety Centers as well as the reviews of literature based on case studies. And for the assessment of significance, surveys and analysis of reliability and factors were carried out. The actual users of Safety Centers were picked as objects for the assessment of significance of space factors at 119 Safety Centers, which revealed that there are five types of dimensions for factor-analyzing standard with which users estimate any significance, which are "Area of Mobilization Preparation and Return" "Area of Standby" "Area of Working Activities" "Area of Employ Welfare" and "Area of Support".

  • 실내형 자율 주행 로봇에서의 가장 중요한 기술력은 IGS(indoor GPS System)라 할 수 있다. 재난로봇이나 정찰로봇, 경계로봇등 새로운 로봇의 영역이 늘어남에 따라 실내에서 로봇을 안전하게 구동시키는 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 기존 GPS를 사용할 수 없는 실내에서, LED 조명으로 통신이 가능한 가시광통신은 실내위치 정보를 정밀히 파악하기에 적합하다. 이에 가시광통신을 이용하여 LED 조명별 기준위치를 파악하는 서로 다른 16진수의 데이터를 전송하고, 그 위치를 파악하여 LED 조명의 위치를 식별할 수 있음을 확인한다. 이러한 실험결과를 통하여 가시광통신을 이용해 실내형 자율 주행 로봇의 실내 위치 추정 시스템을 제안한다.
