This study aims to find out various users' diverse interior design needs for their housing and interior design through the personality, which is intrinsic and consistent traits of the individual. The survey research followed the literature reviews including personality studies and interior design assessments. 176 undergraduate and graduate students as controlled by age, sex, and major answered the questionnaire. Their housing and interior design attitudes, the semiotic assessment of interior design styles, and interior design preference were compared in accordance with four pairs of preference dichotomy of MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator): Extraversion -Introversion, Sensing-iNtuition, Thinking-Feeling, Judging-Perceiving. As a result, the framework of housing and interior design needs by the users' personality types are proposed. It shows specific needs for 16 types of personality based on eight preference dichotomy: extroversion-open, introversion-closed, sensing-functional, intuition-emotional, thinking-restricted, feeling-receptive, judging-simple, and perceiving-creative.

디지털 삶에서 인간들은 더 이상 보호막으로써의 건축 환경이 아닌 함께 상호작용 할 수 있는 감성반응 환경을 요구한다. 즉, 실내 공간은 사람들의 요구를 충족시키거나 사람들의 기분을 만족시키기 위해 건물이 마치 살아 있는 유기체처럼 쉬지 않고 변하는 공간이다. 그러나 건축공간의 물리적 특성의 한계에서 유동적인 감성반응 환경의 요구를 충족시키는 데에는 많은 한계점이 따른다. 그래서, 본 연구에서는 이러한 한계점을 극복하기 위해 디지털 환경을 이용한 가상공간에서 실행하였다. 이는 실제공간에서의 시행착오를 줄일 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 빠른 시간 내에 인간의 반응을 연구할 수 있다. 특히, 본 연구에서는 감성반응의 실내배색에 의해 실내공간에서의 디지털 벽면의 디자인을 가상공간에서 개발하여 거주자의 감성 반응을 평가하는 것을 연구 목적으로 두었다. 이와 같은 거주자의 감성반응형 환경 디자인은 미래의 디자인의 패러다임이 될 것이다.

This study aims to suggest a development process for the interior design major course at K University's school of design to educate specialists who can answer the needs of the industrial field. The study procedure first analyzed the internal and external environment to establish queries and development direction. A job model for the interior design industry was constructed while course modules were deducted based on job characteristics and was used to form a curriculum based on a 4 year course. Required personnel includes 'Interior Design Business and Marketing Specialists', 'Interior Design Space Planning Specialists' and 'Interior Design Construction Management Specialists'. 40 modules were drawn following the detailed job model structure. 1st year students are to follow a common curriculum, 2nd years the major foundation, 3rd years major intensive, and the 4th years major application. The practical importance of the research is to suggest a development process of major modules based on the standard job model and the organization structure of the interior design industry.

This study identifies visible/invisible factors and analyzes facilities, structure, and visible perceptive contents in the aspects of operation and efficiency with a focus on the interfaces between interior design of the subway and users. More specifically, it diagnoses the requirements and empirically presents improvements. As the interior design in the subway trains is fur the public reflecting the value, consciousness, and behaviors of users, it should be approached through the application of the concept of universal design that considers the potential needs and psychological satisfaction of users. In arranging the indoor of the vehicles, the conditions for the facilities should be specified through the interdisciplinary approach from professional fields including ergonomics and psychology, the path of flow should be induced through the use of space and the analysis of passengers' behaviors, an integrated planning should be re-established, and continuous evaluations of basic guidelines, manuals, and requirements should be made.

종교 공간으로서의 교회 건축물은 각 지역 단체생활의 정신적, 물질적으로 다양한 활동을 공급하고 있는 장소이다. 그러나 오늘날 변화무쌍한 현대 사회의 도심 교회들은 그 참여수가 점차 줄고 있는 젊은 세대들에게 충분한 만족을 주고 있지 못한 실정이다. 대부분의 영국 도심 교회가 변화가 어려운 예배당 공간 하나로, 각기 다른 기능을 요구하는 이용자들에게 다기능 공간을 공급하고 있으며, 과거에 잠재적 기능을 고려하지 않고 디자인된 대부분의 한국 도심교회들도 비슷한 조건의 문제 발생으로, 현 이용자들에게 또 다른 요구사항들과 불편함을 주고 있다. 이것은 이용자가 공간을 사용함으로 즐거움과 감흥을 얻기가 어렵게 구성되어 있음을 보여주고 있다. 오늘날, 젊은이들의 생활 패턴이 바뀌어 가고 있음으로 그 실태는 더욱 심각하게 나타나고 있다. 본 연구는 먼저 도심교회 공간의 전형적인 문제점과, 연령별 이용자 그룹의 우선권을 조사하고, 각기 다른 조건의 종교적 공간 사례 조사를 통해 이용자들 및 공간 디자인의 요구사항을 분석하고 있다. 이어서, 각 공간에 따른 문제 해결 방법을 성공적 공간디자인 사례자료를 토대로 정리한 후, 어떠한 종교적 공간에서도 적용 가능하도록 통합적으로 설정된 디자인목표를 바탕으로, 세가지 다른 방법의 계획서들을 제시하고 있다. 마지막으로, 이용자들의 응답을 통해 계획서를 평가하여, 그것에 근거한 결론적인 종합적 디자인 계획서를 제안하고 있다. 본 연구는 교회가 필요로 하는 기능에 따라 변화가 가능한 예배공간을 활용할 수 있는 디자인을 제시하는 데에 그 목적을 두고 있으며, 기존의 교회건물이 더욱 더 많이 사용자의 요구에 만족할 수 있도록 만들어질 수 있는가에 대한 방향이 제시되고 있다.

우리나라 1인 가구는 대부분 다인가구로의 전환 이전에 잠시 거치는 거주형태로 인식되어 불안정한 상황이다. 그러나 오늘날 만혼, 비혼 등 결혼에 대한 인식 변화와 고령화 등의 영향으로 가족의 형태가 변화하고 있으며 이에 따라 거주형태도 다인가족 중심에서 1인 또는 2인 등 소단위로 분화되면서 다양해지고 있다. 하지만 다인 가구에 중심으로 형성된 기존의 주거시장에서는 이러한 급속도의 변화를 수용할 수 없어 여전히 소형 주거는 많은 불편함을 감수해야만 하는 열악한 실정이다. 본 연구는 현 사회현상에 주목하고 1인 가구를 위한 주거 계획 시 실내환경 측면에서 고려해야 할 사항들을 도출하는 것에 목적을 두었다. 선행연구들을 바탕으로 1인가구의 생활유형과 실내공간에서의 요구 사항들을 파악하기 위한 설문을 구성하였으며 실제 1인가구를 대상으로 설문조사 하였다. 결과, 현재 1인가구들이 거주하는 소형주거에서는 식사공간, 수납공간 등이 미비하여 공간 만족도가 매우 낮게 나타나는 등 무계획적 원룸형태 공급으로 인한 문제점을 확인 할 수 있었다. 따라서 단순히 숙식을 위한 물리적 공간 공급이 아니라 다양한 라이프스타일을 반영한 계획적 평면개발이 이루어져야 할 것이다. 또한 공간이라는 하드웨어와 1인 주거 간의 커뮤니티 활성화, 고령사회를 반영하여 다양한 연령대 1인 주거를 위한 사회화 프로그램 개발 등 소프트웨어 적 고려도 함께 이루어져야 할 것이다. 본 연구 결과는 물리적, 심리적 전환기에 있는 우리나라 주택시장의 새로운 요구에 대응할 수 있는 기초자료로 활용되어지길 기대한다.

Today, interior design industry is continuously developing in domestic and foreign, and the industry is getting more internationalized and professionalized day after day. At the same time, the interior design industry is overwhelmed by sudden changes. However, the sudden change can be regarded as a turning point requiring management paradigm shift and an understanding of fundamental concept of interior design industry management. In other word, it is the point where a design management strategy should begin. The previous management strategies are no longer effective. Only the companies providing impressive and practical designs followed from qualified market research and analysis can survive in the society. This research examined the tasks the interior design industry confronted and the factors of environmental changes, and analyzed the current status and trend of changing environments. The purpose of the research is to propose a direction to the effective management available in highly industrial national society.

This study analyzed the current state of interior design as a major at vocational high schools, colleges, and universities to improve their curricula. The questionnaires of students, teachers, and interior designers were collected and frequency distribution and mean were used to analyze the data. Result showed that the alloted times with major fields were high, but those with classes related to interior design were comparatively low at vocational school. Vocational schools did not seem to supply the systemic and qualified major equation for the students who wanted to engage in interior design fields. Therefore curricula reflecting the demand of designers working for interior design companies and students should be made. Additionally practical education contents based on interior design field and achievement of certification should be developed to vitalize the vocational school.

세계 경제가 고도성장에 따른 산업구조의 변화를 갖게 되었고, 의학기술의 발달로 건강한 고령자의 증가가 나타나는 사회 현상이 나타나게 되었다. 우리나라 역시 65세 이상의 건강한 고령인구의 증가 추세와 고령화 사회로의 진입이 현실화 되고 있다. 또 급속한 핵가족화 등으로 인하여 가족 내의 노인부양 기능이 약화되고 있으며, 건강한 노인 단독세대가 급증함에 따라 해당 관련 복지의 구체적인 정책 실천방향에 대한 요구와 신체적, 사회 심리적 특성에 따른 힐링 환경의 개발요구가 높아지고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 인류 건강증진 개념 및 고찰을 통해 힐링 환경의 공간특성을 도출하고, 이를 통하여 보다 질적으로 향상된 건강한 주거환경을 제시하고자 하는데 그 의미가 있다. 본 논문에 있어서의 공간에 의한 인류 건강증진은 1. 건강과 질병은 하나의 스펙트럼 상에 놓여 있으며, 한편은 최상의 건강 상태이며 다른 한편은 질병에 의한 사망이라는 개념에 의미를 둔다. 2. 병, 의학 전문가 관점에서 건강을 증진시키는 과정에 중심을 두고 있는 새로운 치료적 환경에 대한 혁신적인 패러다임을 주지하는 입장에서, 안녕(healing)을 양성하는 공간 특성을 도출 개념이다. 3. 환경변화에 적응하는 역동적 건강개념에 그 근거를 두고, "건강은 단순히 무 질병의 개념이 아니라 신체적, 정신적, 문화적 에다가 영적으로 완전한 안녕 상태"라는 개념을 적용한다. 4. 특히, 병, 의학 전문가 관점으로 인해 간과되었던 대상자의 공간으로부터 얻게 되는 심리적, 사회적, 정신적 요구들을 반영하는 안녕(healing) 개념의 힐링 철학의 개념을 갖는다.

전라남도 완도 연안여객선 터미널에서 2018년 10월 연안여객선 현대화편드 1호에 의한 선박 '한일고속페리 실버클라우드호'가 취항식을 가졌다. 국내 여객선 시장은 그간 해외 중고선에만 의존해왔는데 순수 국내 기술로 건조된 여객선이 등장한 것이다. 이에 따라 우리나라 여객선 산업은 기술발전과 디자인 등 그 품질이 향상 될 것이다. 그간 여객선 이용객의 수요는 꾸준히 증가하고 있으나 영세한 규모의 국내 선사는 비용 부담 때문에 신조를 건조하기 어려워 해외 중고선을 수입하였다. 이로 인해 국내 여객선의 실내 인테리어의 노후화, 인테리어 개조에 따르는 선박 성능의 저하 등 다양한 문제점을 가지고 있었다. 따라서 정부는 2018년 현대화펀드를 통해 노후된 연안여객선을 대체할 새로운 선박의 건조를 지원함으로써 연안여객선은 이제 선사의 사적 소유물을 넘어 공공적 성격이 교통수단이 되었다. 이로써 연안여객선은 이동 편의 향상을 비롯하여 승객에게 더 큰 만족을 줄 수 있는 디자인 개선방안이 요구된다.
