User Detection and Main Body Parts Estimation using Inaccurate Depth Information and 2D Motion Information (정밀하지 않은 깊이정보와 2D움직임 정보를 이용한 사용자 검출과 주요 신체부위 추정)

  • 'Gesture' is the most intuitive means of communication except the voice. Therefore, there are many researches for method that controls computer using gesture input to replace the keyboard or mouse. In these researches, the method of user detection and main body parts estimation is one of the very important process. in this paper, we propose user objects detection and main body parts estimation method on inaccurate depth information for pose estimation. we present user detection method using 2D and 3D depth information, so this method robust to changes in lighting and noise and 2D signal processing 1D signals, so mainly suitable for real-time and using the previous object information, so more accurate and robust. Also, we present main body parts estimation method using 2D contour information, 3D depth information, and tracking. The result of an experiment, proposed user detection method is more robust than only using 2D information method and exactly detect object on inaccurate depth information. Also, proposed main body parts estimation method overcome the disadvantage that can't detect main body parts in occlusion area only using 2D contour information and sensitive to changes in illumination or environment using color information.

  • 수술 시 시행되는 마취 과정에서 저혈압, 빈맥 등의 합병증이 다양한 정도로 발생한다. 이는 환자의 수술 후 심근경색이나 급성 신장 손상과 같은 심각한 합병증을 야기할 수 있으며 이러한 합병증들은 환자를 사망에 이르게 하는 원인이 되기도 한다. 본 연구에서는 머신러닝 기법을 활용해 전신마취 유도 중 저혈압 발생 환자를 예측하고자 한다. 순천향대학교 부천병원에서 수집된 207명 환자의 데이터를 이용하여 저혈압 발생 환자를 탐지하는 모델을 구축하였다. 의무 기록정보에 나타난 성별, 나이, 몸무게, 키, 신체적 상태 정보와 마취 유도 단계의 생체 신호 정보를 이용하였다. 신체적 상태 정보를 제외한 전체 피쳐를 모두 사용하였을 때, 탐지 정확도 68.06%, 관련 논문을 바탕으로 중요 피쳐만을 사용하여 실험하였을 때, 정확도 71.53%였으며, 환자의 신체적 상태 피쳐를 포함하여 실험하였을 때, 정확도 75%로 가장 우수한 결과를 얻었다.

  • IT 정보 기술 발달로 관련 하드웨어와 스프트웨어의 보급이 일반화 되며, 그에 따라 신체적 장애를 겪고 있는 사람들에게 IT기술을 이용하여 신체적 결함을 극복할 수 있는 정보통신 응용제품은 필수적이다. 특히, 고령화 사회로 접어들면서 신체적 기능저하들 중에서 시각 기능 저하도 대표적인 부분이다. 이러한 시각장애를 겪고 있는 사람들을 위한 정보전달 수단으로 점자책등이 존재한다. 그러나 일반 서적에 비하면 이용 및 활용을 위한 제반 기술이 상당히 부족한 현실이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 시각 장애를 겪는 사람 및 장애자들에게 일반 책을 읽을 수 있도록 오픈 소스 기반에 소형 스캐너를 부착한 웨어러블(wearable) PC를 직접 제작하여 개발 완료시점에 있는 시스템 내용에 관한 분석 및 설계에 관한 내용이다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서 일반 스캐너 내부 구성을 살펴보면, 책 혹은 정자로 주어진 문서를 실시간으로 스캔닝을 통해서 글자를 추출하고, 추출된 글자를 음성으로 들려주는 휴대용 통합시스템(T25:text-to-speech)의 개발 진행된 연구에 관하여 살펴본다.

  • 현대의학의 발전에 힘입어 의료정보의 양과 질적인 측면에서 한의학의 IT를 접목한 정보화는 매우 빠르게 확장 및 향상 되고 있다. 그러나 서양의학에 비하여 한의학의 의료정보 활용은 상대적으로 적은 게 사실이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 한의학 정보 활용의 활성화를 위해 한의학 관점에서 논의되고 있는 인체의료정보 획득을 위한 인터페이스 개발에 관한 연구이다. 이를 위해 환자의 신체 통증부위 데이터를 획득할 수 있는 웹기반 인터페이스 설계 방안에 대해 살펴본다. 본 연구의 환자의 신체 통증부위 정보 획득 설계 방법론을 통해서 한의학의 IT를 접목한 의료정보 표준화에 기여할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 기술을 통한 편리성을 추구할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • This paper proposes a context gathering system that obtains user's environment information from sensor and generates user's context profile. To design the system, we classify context and design context model based on traditional context-aware computing. The proposed system supports contexts adaptation service by gathering user's environment characteristics and biological characteristics and generating user profile.

A Body-Area Localization Technique for WUSB over WBAN Communication (WUSB over WBAN 통신을 위한 신체 영역 위치 인식 기술)

  • In this Paper, we propose a body-area localization technique based on WUSB (Wireless USB) over WBAN (Wireless Body Area Networks) protocol required for wearable computer systems. The proposed localization algorithm is executed on the basis of WUSB over WBAN protocol at each sensor node comprising peripherals of a wearable computer system. To increase the accuracy of input information through various body motions in wearable computer systems, a new localization technique with high precision must be developed. To achieve the goal, This paper proposes a combined TDoA/FDoA/AoA (Time Of Arrival/Time Difference Of Arrival/Angle Of Arrival) localization technique with more than four WUSB over WBAN devices to estimate body-area location accurately. The combined TDoA/FDoA/AoA technique reduces 10mm in location estimation errors comparing with a combined TDoA/FDoA technique. This performance enhancement in location error reduction can be ignored at other systems but is meaningful results in body-area localization-based communications.

  • As the life which existed only offline has changed into a life part of which is led online, it is an important problem to identify whether an online user is legitimate one or not. Biometric authentication technology was developed to identify the user more correctly either online or in offline daily life. Biometric authentication is a technology where a person is identified by his or her unique characteristics, and is highlighted as a next-generation authentication technology replacing password. There are various kinds of traits unique to each individual, and biometric authentication technologies drawing on such traits use various devices and algorithms. Firstly, this paper classified such various biometric authentication technologies, and analyzed the effects of them when they are applied on smartphone, smartwatch and M2M of the different devices platforms. Secondly, it suggested the effectiveness-based AIB(Authentication for Integrated Biometrics) authentication technique, a comprehensive authentication technique, which can be used in different devices platforms. We have successfully included the establishment scheme of the effectiveness authentication using biometrics.

Implementation of AI Exercise Therapy System customized for Kidney Disease (신장 질환 맞춤형 AI 운동요법 제공 시스템 구현)

  • In this paper, AI methods such as deep learning are applied to provide customized exercise therapy for patients with kidney disease. In order to apply deep learning, a dataset that can determine kidney disease is trained to determine whether it is a kidney disease, and 1RM, which is the user's physical information and muscle strength according to whether it is a disease, can also be calculated through deep learning. The calculated muscle strength of 1RM was converted into resistant exercise for each part through a calculation equation for each part of the body, and was configured to be provided with an aerobic exercise amount tailored to the user's body information. If continuous research is conducted in the manner proposed in this paper, customized exercise therapy can be provided for various diseases.

Implementation of Mutual Conversion System between Body Movement and Visual·Auditory Information (신체 움직임-시·청각 정보 상호변환 시스템의 구현)

  • This paper has implemented a mutual conversion system that mutually converts between body motion signals and both visual and auditory signals. The present study is based on intentional synesthesia that can be perceived by learning. The Euler's angle was used in body movements as the output of a wearable armband(Myo). As a muscle sense, roll, pitch and yaw signals were used in this study. As visual and auditory signals, MIDI(Musical Instrument Digital Interface) signals and HSI(Hue, Saturation, Intensity) color model were used respectively. The method of mutual conversion between body motion signals and both visual and auditory signals made it easy to infer by applying one-to-one correspondence. Simulation results showed that input motion signals were compared with output simulation ones using ROS(Root Operation System) and Gazebo which is a 3D simulation tool, to enable the mutual conversion between body motion information and both visual and auditory information.
