Considerable attention has been given to supply chains and their management in order to increase competitiveness in current ever-increasing business environments. The attention is due to the common belief that SCM contributes to reducing the redundancy between its supply chain entities and increasing profits correspondingly. However implementing SCM in actual industries involves a large number of difficulties unexpected before. In this paper, experiences in implementing SCM in a semiconductor manufacturing enterprise are discussed with some remarks on how process systems engineering can contribute to establishing SCM. It is hoped that the lessons of the specific enterprise can be of good help to others as well.

The purpose of this paper is to promote the effectiveness of information resources management in corporates or research centers. Every business needs to plan its strategy for the transition from doing business in an industrial economy to doing business in an information economy. Information and information technologies are integral to organizational mission and should play increasingly central role in strategic planning. The production, processing, and distribution of information resources is quickly becoming a major consumer good and an input in the production and decision making of all goods and services. Based upon the questionnaire survey and interview with information managers in information centers, this paper analyze several aspects, such as. the current sutuation, concept, elements and structure, techniques and training models of information resources management for corporates and research centers.

Extant studies have explained that firm's innovations including technological product and process innovations contribute to its competitive advantage and growth, thereby supporting competitiveness and growth of industry. These studies, however, have focused mainly on the role and effect of technological change that is primarily measured by the patent numbers and R&D intensity. Aside from these traditional streams, there has been growing interest on the impact by various dimensions of innovation including non-technological innovations. Apart from the discussions on the dimensions and scope of innovation, stages or processes of innovation also have been studied. Extant studies on innovation process model, however, has limited its interests in the structure of the transformation of knowledge. This study have established a comprehensive model embracing operational and financial performance to investigate the causal paths between innovation and firm performance. Using multi-level generalized linear model with path analysis, this study have found results as follows: First, the processes from innovative activities to innovation output and outcomes including operational and financial performance at firm level were verified. Secondly, the influence of innovation decreases gradually as the distance away from the direct outputs of the innovation increase in the direction of financial outcomes. Third, the effect of innovation on the sales growth rate is higher for small businesses than for medium-sized businesses. The effect of innovation on the profit rate, however, is significant only for medium-sized businesses. For large businesses, innovation has no positive significant impact on any financial performance at all. Fourth, Fourth, the appropriability of innovation has positive impacts on innovative performance, patent applications, and operational performance.

Technology innovation activity plays a pivotal role in constructing the entrance barrier for other firms and making process improvement and new product. and these activities give a profit increase and growth to firms. Thus, technology innovation activity can reduce the default risk of firms. However, technology innovation activity can also increase the firm's default risk because technology innovation activity requires too much investment of the firm's resources and has the uncertainty on success. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of technology innovation activity on the default risk of firms. This study's sample consists of manufacturing firms listed on the Korea Securities Market and The Kosdaq Market from January 1,2000 to December 31, 2008. This study makes use of R&D intensity as an proxy variable of technology innovation activity. The default probability which proxies the default risk of firms is measured by the Merton's(l974) debt pricing model. The main empirical results are as follows. First, from the empirical results, it is found that technology innovation activity has a negative and significant effect on the default risk of firms independent of the Korea Securities Market and Kosdaq Market. In other words, technology innovation activity reduces the default risk of firms. Second, technology innovation activity reduces the default risk of firms independent of firm size, firm age, and credit score. Third, the results of robust analysis also show that technology innovation activity is the important factor which decreases the default risk of firms. These results imply that a manager must show continuous interest and investment in technology innovation activity of one's firm. And a policymaker also need design an economic policy to promote the technology innovation activity of firms.

The golden rule of CRM should be core customers. They show such passionate partnership with the company that they actively put forth their opinion to improve products and service through voluntary pro-company activities and participate in the development of new products through open innovation. Therefore, the top priority of a company should be given to defining its core customers and accurately understanding and managing them, which would contribute to the growth of the company. It has become more important nowadays how to manage a long-term customer relationship, for it can assure the company of increased income in spite of steep competition with rival companies. Therefore strong customer relationship is an important means of proving the company with competitive edge and maximizing company income.

발효는 인류의 역사와 함께 해 왔으며 과학 기술발전에 따라 자연 발효에서 관리하는 방법으로 급격히 변하고 있다. 발효는 미생물과 미생물이 생산한 효소의 작용으로 일어나는바 미생물 관리를 통하여 실로 다양한 제품 생산이 가능하고 역할의 범위도 지극히 넓다. 즉 원하는 최종 제품의 종류에 따라 미생물을 선택하거나 발효조건을 관리하여 목적 지향적 완제품 생산이 가능한 경우가 많다. 한국인의 식단을 이루는 기본은 각종 발효 제품을 근간으로 하는 조미료이며, 조미료에 따라 맛의 변화가 온다. 발효를 통하여 소화성의 증대, 비타민 등 새로운 미량물질의 생산, 풍미의 개선 혹은 새롭게 창조하거나 저장기간을 연장하기도 하며, 사용하는 원료와는 완전히 다른 신제품을 만들어 내기도 한다. 근래의 연구 결과들을 살펴보면 여러 기능성 물질이 발효를 통하여 생성되며 이들이 인체 내에서 긍정적 역활을 한다는 것이 밝혀지고 있다. 전통식품 중 발효식품은 가장 큰 비중을 차지하며 곡류 중심의 식단에 맛을 부여하여 먹는 즐거움을 주고 전망있는 다른 산업으로 발전 해 나갈 수 있는 특성이 있다. 발효식품은 다양한 원료를 사용 할 수 있고 원료에 따라 많은 서로 다른 제품생산이 가능하다. 우리나라에서 생산되는 주요 발효식품은 김치를 포함한 절임류, 곡물 또는 과실을 이용한 주류, 어류로 각종 젓갈을 만들 수 있으며 근래 수요가 늘고 있는 요구르트 등도 인기 있는 발효식품이다. 특히 발효식품에 관여하는 미생물들이 probiotic으로 작용하여 장내 미생물의 항산성 유지 및 유해 세균의 증식억제 등 긍정적 역할을 하며 우유 발효균으로 알려진 젖산균류 뿐만 아니라 다른 세균들도 probiotic으로 작용한다는 것이 밝혀지고 있으며, 특히 장류에 많이 관여하는 Bacillus 속 들의 긍정적 역할이 속속 알려지고 있다. 또한 발효를 통하여prebiotic도 만들어지는 것을 알 수 있다. 앞으로 발효식품의 기능성의 과학적 입증 발효의 과학적 관리, 제품의 다양화와 함께 안전성도 검토할 대상이다. 또한 심도있게 발효 관여 미생물을 탐색, 동동하고 발효기반의 이용확대, 맞춤형 특수 미생물의 탐색과 용도 확인 등 노력이 필요하다. 우리나라 전통식품 중 큰 비중을 차지하는 발효식품을 세계화하기 위해서는 건강기능성의 과학적 기반 구축과 전문 학술 활동을 통한 홍보, 현지 식품에 맞는 fusion food의 개발도 필요하다. 발효식품을 포함한 전통식품은 경제적 측면과 함께 문화적 가치가 동시에 고려되어야 하고 다문화 추세에 따라 유연성 있게 변화를 수용 할 필요도 있다. 전통 발효식품을 우리 식문화를 세계에 전파시키는 좋은 매체로 활용 할 수 있을 것이다.

In recent years, small businesses are increasing attempt to create better value through a combination of benefits with small and flexible organization of big data. However, until now small businesses are lacking to secure sustainable competitiveness to match the ICT paradigm alteration to focus on improving productivity. This paper propose an efficient small businesses process model which can effectively take advantage of a low cost, identify customer needs, taget marketing, customer management for new product. Proposed model can retain the necessary competitiveness in generating new business for collaboration between companies inside and companies using a massive big data. Also, proposed model can be utilized the overall business activities such as the target customer selection, pricing strategies, public relations and promotional activities and enhanced new product development capabilities using big data.

The importance of convergence activities among business is increasing due to the necessity of designing and developing new products to satisfy various customers' needs. In particular, decision makers such as CEOs are required to participate in networks between entrepreneurs for being connected with valuable convergence partners. Moreover, it is important for entrepreneurs not only to make a large number of network connections, but also to understand the networking relationship with entrepreneurs with similar topic information. However, there is a difficult limit in collecting the topic information that can show the lack of current status of business and the technology and characteristics of entrepreneur in industry sector. In this paper, we solve these problems through the topic extraction method and analyze the business network in three aspects. Specifically, there are C, S, T-Layer models, and each model analyzes amount of entrepreneurs relationship, network centrality, and topic similarity. As a result of experiments using real data, entrepreneur need to activate network by connecting high centrality entrepreneur when the corporate relationship is low. In addition, we confirmed through experiments that there is a need to activate the topic-based network when topic similarity is low between entrepreneurs.

Wire bonding process in making semiconductor needs the most precise control and Critical To Quality(CTQ). Thus, it is regarded to be the most essential step in packaging process. In this process, pure gold wire is used to connect the chip and PCB(substrate or lead frame). However, the price of gold has been skyrocketing continuously for a long period of time and is expected to further increase in the near future. This phenomenon situates us in an unfavorable condition amidst the competitive environment. To avoid this situation, many semiconductor material making companies developed new types of wires: Au.Ag wire is one material followed by many others. This study is aimed to optimize the parameter in wire bonding with the use of 6sigma and QFD(Quality Function Deployment). 6sigma process is a good means to not only solve the problem, but to increase productivity. In order to find the key factor, we focused on VOB(Voice of Business) and VOC(Voice of Customer). The main factors from VOB, VOC are called CTQ. However, there were times when these main factors were far from offering us the correct answer, thus making the situation more difficult to handle. This study shows that QFD aids in deciding which of the accurate factors to undertake. Normally QFD is used in designing and developing products. 6sigma process is held more effective when it used with QFD.

Though there are many crimes on and out university campus in Korea, no one knows anything about the size or the types of campus crime. But, there are many theft crimes and sex assault in the library and one-room village near the university campus. This study suggested the establish ways and means needed to improve the campus security system, with the focus on the CPTED(Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design). Various types of crime prevention methods are being considered instead of conventional crime suppression measures. Among them, CPTED is drawing global attention. Crime prevention through environmental design is a multi-disciplinary approach to deterring criminal behavior through environmental design. CPTED strategies rely upon the ability to influence offender decisions that precede criminal acts. A truly safe campus can be achieved only through the cooperation of all students, faculty, staff and visitors. The cooperation and involvement of the entire campus community in campus crime prevention is absolutely necessary. University should adopt a series of policies and procedures designed to ensure that every possible precaution is taken to protect persons and property on campus.
