KSLV-I 개발사업의 신뢰성 관리연구

  • In this paper, we conducted basic study on the reliability management that is a key factor to develop highly-reliable launch vehicles, and proposed the strategy for reliability management that can be applied to the KSLV program. Based on the analysis of international launch vehicles data, this paper also presented the reliability target that is essential for Korea's entering into the international commercial market.

  • Reliability means that certain parts or systems maintain its best qualities and functionalities within certain periods and is the prospective quality which the safe life of products is indicated by quantitative values and the highest level of reliability of the products is required to attain in the highly competitive business world. In Korea, there have been a significant growth in the field of reliability and government promotes the "Reliability Improvement Project" to establish infrastructure to conduct reliability assessment and certification. The importance and necessity is well recognized among researchers and engineers working in the research institutions and the manufacturing industries and many industries invest a great amount of money and effort in improving the reliability of its products. In this paper, the promotional status of reliability improvement project and necessity of establishment of the reliability certification system for aerospace field is presented.

A Study on Reliability Based Design Criteria for Erection Members (가설부재의 신속성 설계기준에 관한 연구)

  • This study investigates reliability based design criteria for the erection members, and proposes practical algorithm which is based on Ellingwood's algorithm for the reliability analysis and the derivation of reliability based criteria. The magnitude of the uncertainties associated with load effects are chosen primarily by considering our level of practice. And thus the uncertainties so obtained are applied for the reliability analysis and the derivation of reliability based design criteria. A target reliability($\beta$$_{o}$=2.0) is selected as an appropriate value by analyzing the reliability levels of our current USD and WSD design standards. Them a set of load and resistance factors corresponding to the target reliability is proposed as a reliability based design provision, and furthermore a set of allowable stresses for steel having same level of reliability with the corresponding LRFD criteria is also prepared for the current WSD design provision. It may be concluded that the proposed LRFD reliability based design provisions and the corresponding allowable stresses give more rational design than the current code for erection membars.s.s.

  • 인공위성은 지상 시스템과는 달리 극한 발사환경 및 우주환경에 노출되고, 운용 중 수리가 불가능하며, 임무 실패에 따른 위험비용이 매우 크기 때문에 고신뢰성, 고비용의 부품, 장비 및 시스템을 채택하여 개념설계단계에서부터 신뢰성을 관리한다. 신뢰성 관리의 주요 목적은 설계변경 및 개발 사이클의 반복을 최소화하고, 개발비용을 절감하며, 시스템의 신뢰성을 향상시키기 위한 것으로서, 대부분의 우주시스템 개발 프로젝트에서는 제품보증(Product Assurance) 활동의 일환으로 수행된다. 제품보증 업무는 크게 품질보증, 신뢰성 관리, EEE 부품관리, 재료 및 공정(Material & Process) 관리, 오염관리, 소프트웨어 품질보증 등으로 구분되지만, 포괄적인 의미의 신뢰성 관리 범주에 이를 모두 포함시키기도 한다. 인공 위성의 개발과정에서 기술성능지표 중 하나로서 중점 관리되고 있는 시스템 신뢰성 관리의 세부기법, 프로세스, 개선 필요사항 등에 대하여 살펴보고자 한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 선진 제품의 신뢰성 수준과 국산 제품의 신뢰성 수준 비교 결과를 정량적으로 표시하기 위한 신뢰성지수를 개발하여 제안하였다 본 연구에서 제안한 신뢰성지수는 가장 우수한 제품의 신뢰성수준과 비교하고자 하는 제품의 신뢰성 수준을 점수화한 신뢰성점수의 비로서 나타낸다. 이 때 신뢰성점수는 제품 초기 특성값 산포, 환경시험 후의 특성변화율, 제품 설계 여유도, 제품 수명 또는 고장률의 4가지 항목을 고려하여 미리 정한 점수 산출 기준을 통하여 산출한다. 제안한 신뢰성지수의 적용방법에 대한 이해를 돕기 위하여 구체적인 적용례도 함께 제시하였다.

  • Relative importance and complexity of recent software is getting increased because the software is needed to provide considerable amount of functions and high performance. Therefore, developing reliable software is importantly issued. In order to develop reliable software, it is necessary to manage software reliability at the early phases, but most reliability estimation models are used at system or operational test phases. In order to develop highly reliable software, it is necessary to manage software reliability at the early test phases based on characteristic of the phases that is developers and testers are not separated and developers perform test and debug activities together. Therefore, a new reliability estimation model considering test and debug time together is necessarily needed. In this paper, we propose a new reliability estimation model to manage reliability of individual units from the early test phases and in order to show how to fit the model to actual data and usefulness, we collected industrial data and used it for the experiment.

  • In this paper, we propose a framework of reliability education program for industry people taking charge of reliability improvement or reliability evaluation. To this end, we investigate the situation of how reliability theories or reliability technologies are applied to industry and how industry people have reliability educations. And we also identify reliability theories or technologies which industry people need to ensure. Based on the result of such studies, we design a reliability education program which is appropriate for industry people.

  • 신뢰성이란 단기간에 측정되는 성능과는 다른 지표로서 흔히 장기간에 걸쳐 평가되는 품질의 척도이다. Oil Cooler는 공작기계(machine tools)의 주축 및 구동부 등에서 발생하는 열 변형을 제어하는 장치로서 공작기계의 신뢰성 향상을 위해서는 oil cooler의 신뢰성 개선이 이루어져야 한다. 본 연구에서는 oil cooler의 신뢰성 개선을 위해 고장률 데이터베이스를 이용한 신뢰성 예측과 이를 통한 취약부품 분석을 실시하고 신뢰성 시험기를 통한 oil cooler의 신뢰성을 평가하였다. 이를 통해 oil cooler의 정량적 신뢰도를 계산하였으며 신뢰성호 향상을 위한 공정기법을 개발하여 적용하였다. Oil cooler의 신뢰성 개선을 통해 공작기계 및 반도체 제조 장비 등과 같은 제조 시스템의 신뢰성 향상을 기대할 수 있으며, 제안된 기법을 이용하여 다른 기계류 부품의 신뢰성 평가 및 개선에 적용할 수 있다.

Study on the sampling inspection method for reliability assurance of lot (로트의 신뢰성 보증 샘플링검사 방식에 대한 연구)

  • Sampling inspection methods for quality control have been proposed a lot in the industry. However, the sampling inspection method for reliability, which is a quality over time, has been relatively less presented, and there are not many literatures that are clearly summarized. Therefore, this paper focuses on the reliability conformity test to verify that the reliability evaluation scale value of the target is satisfied during the reliability test. To this end, first, we look at the conditions that both consumers and producers can satisfy in terms of the OC curve and find out what sampling methods satisfy the desired level of producer risk and consumer risk. Next, two methods of the reliability sampling methods such as attribute and variable reliability sampling methods are examined. Specifically, the attribute reliability sampling method is a form of sampling plan where n samples are tested for a certain period of T hours and the lot is accepted if the number of failures is less than or equal to a certain number c. On the other hand, the variable reliability sampling method is a form of sampling plan where the lot is accepted if the reliability evaluation scale such as MTBF satisfies a certain standard. Both sampling plans may also use inspection tables.
