  • 대한인쇄문화협회(회장 김남수)는 지난 8월 29일부터 9월 2일까지 5일간 중국 북경의 중국국제전람중심신관에서 중국도서진출구(집단)총공사의 주최로 개최된 제19회 중국국제도서전에 한국관을 조성해 참가했다. 75개국 2000여개사가 참가하고 약 30만명이 참관한 이번 도서전에 인협은 급속히 성장하는 중국 인쇄 시장 진출을 위한 구체적인 정보 수집 및 방안을 모색하고, 우리나라의 인쇄 문화와 인쇄기술의 우수성을 홍보하며, 적극적인 상담을 통해 수출 진흥을 도모했다.

  • 지난 5월 16일부터 17일까지 양일간 롯데호텔 신관 비즈니스센타 '프레스룸' 에서는 한.일 시멘트 업계의 사장단 등 총 19명이 참석한 가운데 "한.일 시멘트 업계 친선 교류회"가 열렸다. 이번 친선 교류회에서 양국은 자국의 시멘트 산업에 대한 현황을 발표하고 질의응답의 시간을 가졌으며 이외에도 시멘트 수급현황과 전망, 에너지 비용 급등에 대한 대책마련, 중국 시멘트 산업과 세계 시멘트 무역시장에 대한 논의, 환경문제와 지구온난화 대응방안 등 다양한 주제를 가지고 깊이있는 대화를 나눴으며 또한 양국간 시멘트 수출입 현황에 대해서도 의견을 개진하였다. 이번 "한일 시멘트 업계 친선 교류회" 에서 심도있게 논의된 양구 현안의 주요 내용을 요약, 정리하였다.

  • Linear motor food system control algorithm was extended to the two axis system. Among several factors considered, overshoot of the response was the most important one in minimizing position tracking error. Balance between overshoot and settling time has to be adjusted to guarantee to best tracking performance. Tracking route was carefully executed to eliminate the possible error during the machining process. Even though there exists slight discrepancy between desired mute and cutting track at the corner, precision machining could be implemented using the cutting scheme introduced.

  • In this paper, a study on the design of the transmitter-receiver of fuze sensor for discriminating target position is presented. We propose the algorithm for detecting target distance/direction through investigating the operational concept and principle of fuze sensor. Based on the algorithm, We design transmitter-receiver, calculate various design variables and estimate the performance of that one. The estimated result shows that the required performance of fuze sensor is satisfied. Further research on confirming the performance of proposed algorithm through encounter simulation test with real target and resolving problem will be continued.

  • The reaction between CH3 radicals and H2 was investigated behind incident shock waves at temperatures between 1308 and 1825 K by following the consumption of CH3 using a time resolved UV absorption method at 213.9 nm. The rate coefficient expression 1.10 X 1013 exp(-7370 K/T) cm3mol-1s-1 for the reaction of CH3 with H2 was derived.

Numerical Investigation for Multi-layer Shock Absorber to Improve Survivability of Fuze at High Impact (고충격에 신관의 생존성을 향상시키기 위한 다층 충격완충장치 전산해석 연구)

  • This study proposes a method of constructing an effective shock absorber. The existing shock absorber is fabricated only with polyethylene; however, the new shock absorber comprises polyethylene on the outside and a high-density material on the inside. The shock was mostly reduced when the density difference between the inner and outer materials was large. Aluminum, titanium, and copper were chosen as the outer structure of two-layer. Shock reduction was most effective in copper with the highest density, and the maximum deceleration was reduced by 43% while the impulse was reduced by 51% in the proposed shock absorber than the traditional shock absorber. In the cases of four-layer and six-layer shock absorbers, the impulse was reduced, but the maximum deceleration was increased. The fuze must survive from the biggest shock and the remaining shock waves should not exceed the threshold. Thus, a two-layer structure shock absorber using polyethylene-copper was proposed.

Study on the Compact K-Band Radar for Detecting the Approaching Target above Ground (지상 접근 표적 감지를 위한 초소형 K-대역 레이다 연구)

  • This paper proposes a compact K-band radar applied to a miniature proximity fuze for the active defense system. In this terrestrial environment, it is not easy to detect approaching small targets because the clutter is scattered. In addition, it is difficult to miniaturize the radar for the small proximity fuze while improving the target accuracy of the radar in such environments. To solve these difficulties, this study presents system analysis and design, antenna design, and transceiver and signal processor design of the compact K-band radar. Some test results are presented and the results are analyzed, the validity of the proposed study is examined.
