암치료는 금세기 의료영역에서 가장 큰 과제중의 하나이며, 우리 일상생활에서도 이를 피부로 느낄 수 있는 중요한 것이다. Hyperthermia system은 비단 암치료 뿐만 아니라 동상, 신경통 등 심재성 물리치료에도 좋은 효과를 가져오리라 본다. 2000년 까지는 암이 정복되리라고 예상들을 한다. 유전적인, 생화학적인 치료시스템 이외에도 이 hyperthermiz system은 중요한 역할을 하리라 믿는다. 한편, 의료 시스템의 많은 부분이 전기 전자적인 요소를 포함하고 있으므로 의료에 종사하는 사람들도 전기 전자공학자의 필요성을 점점 피부로 느끼어가고 있다. 비단 이 고주파 가온시스템 뿐만 아니라, 여러 의료장비에 관해서 우리가 조금만 신경을 써서 의학자들과 협조하여 연구를 할 수만 있다며는 좋은 의료시스템을 많이 개발할 수 있으리라 본다.

우리나라 민간약으로서 신경통 및 류마치스의 치료에 널리 사용되고 있는 산복사나무(Prunus davidiana)의 잎으로부터 naringenin 및 그 배당체, kaempferol 및 그 배당체, kaempferide glueoside, quercetin glucoside 및 d-catechin을 단리하였다.

This is a case report of a 69 years old non-smoking male patient with a lung cancer who presented with postherpetic neuralgia on the left T2, 3 and 4 dermatomes. This pain was aggravated in supine position. The patient did not have any other symtoms or signs to suggest the possibility of a lung cancer. Patient's baseline laboratory findings were essentially normal. Routine chest X-ray revealed hazy densities in the left apex. Further evaluation with chest CT confirmed the presence of a lung cancer corresponding to the densities seen on the chest X-ray.

Most patients who have suffered from pain and muscle weakness on femoral nerve distributing area show no definite pathologic finding on X-ray or laboratory examinations. Therefore proper diagnosis is difficult to determine for the proper treatment of the symptoms. Based on my clinical experiences and anatomical studies, I have found most of these symptoms are a result of femoral nerve compression on trigger point of psoas major muscle. Accordingly, releasing the compression of femoral nerve by Laser stimulation and local anesthetic injection to the identified trigger point of psoas major muscle was found to be an effective treatment for femoral neuralgic pain.

After administration of Oriental medicine with Bee venom acupuncture to two cases of Herpes zoster and Post-herpetic neuralgia. We can observe remarkable efficacy on relief from pain. This results suggest that Oriental medicine with Bee venom acupuncture can be one of a good remedy for Herpes zoster and Post-herpetic neuralgia.

Objective: To improve patients' postherpetic neuralgia (PHN) symptoms using Ortho-Cellular Nutrition Therapy (OCNT). Methods: A Korean woman in her forties suffering from neuralgia due to herpes zoster was treated with OCNT for approximately six months. Results: After initiating OCNT, the patient gradually experienced reduced neuralgia symptoms in the chest, flank, and back areas. Approximately six months later, she no longer felt discomfort from these symptoms. Conclusion: OCNT can be beneficial in alleviating symptoms of neuralgia in patients suffering from PHN.

대상포진후 신경통의 치료를 위하여 사용하였던 스테로이드로 인한 고혈당증을 동반한 환자를 치료한 결과를 다음과 같이 요약한다. 첫째, 통증치료실에서 흔히 쓰이는 약물 중에는 고혈당증을 유발하는 것이 많으므로 처치전에 고혈당이 영향을 주는 다른 질환의 유무를 확인하도록 한다. 둘째, 스테로이드 사용으로 인하여 발생되는 일시적인 고혈당중의 경우에는 스테로이드 사용 중단으로 회복이 가능하나 잠재되어 있던 당뇨병의 발현시는 지속적인 당뇨병의 치료를 필요로 한다. 셋째, low level laser therapy는 혈당치에 영향을 미치지 않는 통증치료법으로 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.

본 증례에서는 극심한 삼차신경통 진단을 받고 안면부와 턱관절 통증으로 일상생활이 어려워 항간질약과 수술적 치료를 받았지만 통증이 개선되지 않던 환자에게서 음양균형장치를 포함한 자세조절훈련, 침치료 등 구조적 치료를 통해서 유의한 자각적 증상 개선뿐만 아니라 턱관절의 구조적 개선이 나타남을 관찰하였고, 요통과 경항통 및 비염 같은 제반 증상들의 호전과 척추의 구조적 개선이 관찰되었다.

좌측 제 11번 늑간 신경통과 요통을 주소로 입원한 49세 남자 환자에게 흉부 신경근 열 응고술을 시행한 후 3일간에 걸쳐 척수 압박 증상이 급속히 진행되었다. 흉 요추의 단순 X-선과 자기 공명 영상 촬영으로 밝힌 그 원인은 제 11 및 12 흉추의 척추 종양이었다.

Objective : This study report the effect of traditional medical treatment on postherpetic neuralgia(PHN) 2 cases. Methods : We observed 2 PHN cases diagnosed Ganwoolqiche and prescribed herbal medication (Soyosan-Gagambang & Punsimgieum-Gamibang) for each case. Results : Both cases showed efficient clinical results, especially for the pains. Conclution : In this study, operated traditional medical treatment on PHN cases and could find good progress after treatment.
