Analysis of Bending Performance of Built-up Beam Headers (목재 조립보 헤더의 휨 성능 분석)

  • To obtain design data for built-up beams used as headers in light-frame timber construction, three members of $2{\times}6$ ($38{\times}140 mm$), $2{\times}8$ ($38{\times}184 mm$), $2{\times}10$ ($38{\times}235 mm$) and $2{\times}12$ ($38{\times}286 mm$) were built up as specimens of bending tests. The bending strengths of built-up headers were obtained through bending tests of these specimens, and it was considered that span tables can be calculated for various loading conditions based on the bending strengths of built-up headers. The bending strengths of built-up headers were determined as the bending stresses at 10 mm deflection of specimens from the results of bending tests of built-up beam specimens. Span tables for built-up headers were considered to be obtained by assuming five loading conditions for headers used in exterior walls and two loading conditions for headers used in interior walls. Among these 7 loading conditions, 5 loading conditions applied to headers in exterior walls included dead loads, live loads and snow loads and 2 loading conditions applied to headers in interior walls included dead loads and live loads.

Applicability estimation for cable assembling method of shield tunnel using field test construction (현장 조립 시험시공을 통한 쉴드터널 강연선 체결 기술의 적용성 평가)

  • In this study, the new segment assembling method using cable tensible force was developed to improve the problem of bolt assembling method of shield tunnel. In the field test construction, cable assembling method reduced the assembling time of segment in comparison with bolt assembling method because of guide role of segment shear-key. In the result of measuring the necessary time for segment assembling process, it took 420sec to assemble one segment in bolt method and 400sec to assemble one segment in cable method, but in case of using the cable automatic feeder, it could reduce the necessary time as 60sec in comparison with bolt assembling method. The cable automatic system modeling using BIM, that connected shield TBM also will be utilized in the area of design TBM, excavation plan, method process understanding, construction management and so on.

  • ITER 초전도자석 전원공급장치의 예비설계가 실제 크기 6펄스 R&D 컨버터의 제작 및 시험결과를 기반으로 수행되었다. ITER 컨버터는 자체적으로 지지되는 알루미늄 버스바 구조로 제작되며, 이 버스바에 양면 클램핑 방식으로 조립되는 Thyristor 스위치는 4인치 규격으로써 컨버터의 종류에 따라 한 개의 암 당 8 - 16 개의 소자가 병렬로 구성된다. ITER 컨버터 예비설계는 알루미늄 버스바 구조설계, 컨버터 냉각설계, 컨버터 전기회로 설계, 컨버터 고장해석 및 보호설계, 시험절차 및 요건 등을 포함하며, 본 논문에서 그 설계결과를 기술한다. ITER 컨버터는 예비설계 결과를 기반으로 상세설계 및 제작설계를 거친 후 제작된다.

  • To guarantee the proper functions of a satellite in the extreme space environment, the several test models are developed generally. There are advantages that the design and the analysis of Flight Model(FM) can be validated through these test models, and the functional reliabilities can be increased by reflecting the modifications on the final design of FM. The integration and test of Structure & Thermal Model(STM) of KOMPSAT, being currently developed, have been completed. In this paper, the processes of design/analysis and integration of the STM propulsion system, one of the KOMPSAT modules, are described.

  • We built multi-purpose large triaxial testing system that can test and evaluate various geotechnical design parameters such as shear strength, deformation modulus and stress-strain behaviour for large diameter granular materials, which are the most commonly used construction materials in the railway, road embankments. The details of the built testing system and the results obtained from static triaxial test carried out for gneiss ballast material are discussed within the scope of this paper. Ballast is hardly saturated and is confined at low overburden pressure, since the depth is shallow and the permeability is very high. Herein we ascertained that the confining pressure can effectively be controlled by vacuum. The rational trend could be checked up through triaxial test results such as shear strength, deformation, and particle breakage. And the shear strength envelope could be non-linearly represented with the parent rock strength, confining pressure of the triaxial test and proper parameters.

  • The telemetry data received from satellite in real-time are used to monitor LEO satellite during the AIT (Assembly, Integration & Test) phase and the mission operation phase after launch. However, it is impossible to check all the incoming telemetry data from satellite in real time in order to detect abnormality of satellite quickly. Especially, the contact time of LEO satellite is limited because of its orbital characteristics. So the anomaly state of the LEO satellite should be detected and resolved during the contact time. Therefore, all incoming spacecraft telemetry data must be selected and manipulated in MIMIC. It is used in order to display summarized information about spacecraft in a visualized way that is quickly and easily understood. That is, it provides essential function to monitor a satellite both in orbit and during testing. In this paper, the design and development of MIMIC currently used in KOMPSAT, a LEO Earth observation satellite is described in detail. In future work, we plan to enhance MIMIC in order to improve user-friendliness and efficiency.

  • 기존 투명방음판용 알루미늄 프레임의 구조적 단점을 보완할 수 있는 강재-FRP(Fiber Reinforced Plastic) 합성단면 구조재를 개발하였으며, 아울러 조립이 간편하고 외부 충격에 의해 쉽게 분리가 되지 않는 삽입형 수평재-수직재 코너연결부 상세를 개발하였다. 개발된 강재-FRP 합성단면 구조재와 코너연결재를 결합하여 프레임을 형성하고 그 사이에 투명패널을 삽입함으로써 길이 4m, 높이 1m 투명방음판 시작품을 완성하였으며, 이렇게 완성된 투명방음판 시작품을 대상으로 KS 4770-1 구조성능 평가시험을 수행하였다. 한국도로공사 교량부 시험하중에 대해 설계된 강재-FRP 합성단면 프레임 투명방음판의 구조성능 평가결과, FRP 의 추가적인 구조강성 증가 효과로 인해 한국도로공사 교량부 시험하중을 약간 상회하는 KS 2 호 등급시험하중까지도 만족시키고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • 설계 하중이 큰 대형 구조물의 기초로 많이 사용되는 현장타설말뚝은 현장에서 지반을 굴착하여 조립된 철근망을 삽입한 후, 콘크리트를 타설하여 제작되므로 복잡한 시공 과정과 현장의 특수한 지하수 및 지반 조건으로 인하여 현장타설말뚝의 내부에는 결함이 포함될 수 있다. 발생 가능한 대표적인 결함으로 연약한 말뚝 선단, 말뚝체 콘크리트의 품질 저하, 말뚝과 지반의 접촉 불량, 주 철근의 부식 등이 있으며, 이들 결함을 감지하기 위한 건전도 시험법으로 공대공초음파 검층, 충격반향시험, 충격응답시험, 감마-감마 검층법 등이 있다. 결함은 말뚝의 수평지지력을 감소시키며, 일반적으로 발생하는 비대칭단면 결함에 의한 응력 집중현상과 수평 하중에 의한 휨모멘트는 연직지지거동에 영향을 준다. 따라서 결함을 감지하고 평가하는 것이 현장타설말뚝의 품질관리에 있어 매우 중요하다.

  • 본 논문에서는 조립/제작, 시험과정을 통하여 개발된 통신방송위성용 Ka 대역 통신위성 중계기의 구조 및 성능에 대하여 기술한다. 개발된 중계기는 전체 400MHz 대역 내에 100 MHz 대역폭을 갖는 3 개의 통신채널을 수용하여 광대역 멀티미디어 서비스를 지원할 수 있도록 설계되었으며 국내 기술로 제작되어 우주인증을 거친 IFA, RxDC, IMUX, CH-AMP 등의 부품으로 구성되어 있다. 중계기에 대한 성능시험은 EGSE를 이용해 자동으로 수행되었으며, 성능시험결과 대부분의 성능 항목이 요구사항과 부합됨을 확인하였다. 제작된 Ka 대역 중계기에 적용된 위성 중계기 및 부품의 제작 및 시험 기술은 향후 통신해양기상위성에 탑재될 중계기의 개발에 직접 응용이 가능하다.

A Development of Ship Block Leveling System based on the Axiomatic Design (공리적 설계 기반 선체 블록 레벨링 시스템 개발)

  • In this paper the independence axiom, one of two principal axioms of axiomatic design theory, is applied to the leveling system development as an design criteria. After functional requirements and corresponding design parameters constitute an initial design matrix for the leveling system, sequence, which is compatible with the independence axiom, of the design parameters of the design matrix is determined and independent components of block leveling system are revealed. As a result of axiomatic design, system configuration related to the design sequence is developed. In order to verify and validate the developed block leveling system, test with real hull block leveling work in site by using total station which is used to acquire three dimensional coordinate of target point is performed. Comparison with measured data and output data from the block leveling system shows the system accuracy is under 1 mm so that the developed system is verified and validated to be used in site.
